Abstrak:
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a major public health issue in Indonesia, particularly in endemic areas like Simpang III Sipin Village. This disease is transmitted by Aedes sp mosquitoes, and the presence of their larvae is a key indicator of the potential spread of DHF. Environmental conditions, such as water reservoirs and humidity, alongside community behaviors, play significant roles in supporting the growth of these mosquito larvae. Therefore, research is needed to identify the factors influencing the presence of Aedes sp larvae. Methods: This study utilized a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 143 households, selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected via questionnaires and direct observations. Additionally, measurements of environmental conditions such as air humidity and temperature were taken using a hygrothermometer. The variables under study included knowledge, attitudes, behavior regarding water reservoir drainage (TPA), number of TPAs, air humidity, and air temperature. Results: Data analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square statistical test to determine the relationships between the variables. The results indicated that factors like knowledge level (p = 0.008), attitude (p = 0.008), behavior related to draining water reservoirs (p = 0.001), number of water reservoirs (p = 0.013), and air humidity (p = 0.004) were significantly related to the presence of Aedes sp larvae. However, air temperature did not show a significant relationship (p = 0.675). Conclusion: High humidity environments encourage the growth of mosquito larvae, and insufficient knowledge and inadequate preventive behaviors contribute to increased mosquito populations, exacerbating the risk of DHF transmission.

Abstrak:
Fly density is an indicator of environmental sanitation assessment. Fly density is influenced by waste management, the National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN) shows that waste generation in Jambi City reaches 159,688.01 tons/year. The aim of this research is to determine factors related to the level of fly density in Temporary Waste Storage Sites (TPSS) in Telanaipura District, Jambi City 2023. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional method research design. This research was conducted in the Telanaipura District community with a sample of 94 people. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate methods using correlation tests. The results of this study indicate that knowledge (p=0.027), action (p=0.029), monitoring (p=0.017), sorting (p=0.016), collection (p=0.027), and transportation (p=0.026) have relationship with the level of fly density, while attitude (p=0.245) had no relationship with the level of fly density. Knowledge, action, monitoring, sorting, collection and transportation are factors related to the level of fly density in temporary waste storage sites in Telanaipura District. It is hoped that the public will pay attention to managing household waste properly.

Abstrak:
According to the Jambi City Health Service Profile in 2021-2022, Putri Ayu Health Center is one of the inpatient health centers in Jambi City which is also acontributes the largest amount of medical waste with the amount of waste is 615 kg out of a total of 7804.1 kg of medical waste from health centers in Jambi City, so it has the potential to spread disease if medical waste is not managed properly. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data was obtained from 8 informants by conducting in-depth interviews and observations in May 2023 - April 2024 using qualitative research data analysis software. In the input aspect (1) Human Resources in the quantity aspect are sufficient, while the qualifications are not appropriate because they come from general administration. (2) Facilities and infrastructure are not sufficient and if there is damage, goods will be procured and reported to envinronmental health authority. Meanwhile, in the process aspect (3) Sorting is carried out by each waste producing poly unit by labeling the type of waste, date and poly, (4) The container used at the Putri Ayu Public Health Center meets the standards of Minister of Health Regulation Number 18 of 2020 (5) Transportation is carried out more than once every 2 days by PT Anggrek (6). Storage is carried out at TPS with a time span of 2-3 days at the latest. There are still input aspects that do not comply with standards (in the case of this research, namely the quality of human resources) causing disruption to process aspects, such as less than optimal management performance in managing medical waste in the container, transport and storage processes.

The national prevalence of dermatitis in Indonesia based on Basic Health Research data by the Ministry of Health 2018 is 6.8% and tends to increase every year. Data from the Jambi Provincial Health Service, in 2021 dermatitis was ranked eighth with the most common disease with a percentage of 5.03%, while in 2022 it experienced an increase and was ranked sixth with a percentage of 5.96%. This study aims to determine the factors associated with symptoms of dermatitis in prisoners at the Class IIA Jambi Penitentiary in 2024. This research is a quantitative study using a cross sectional study design. The sampling technique used Proportionate Random Sampling on 1124 prisoners at the Class IIA Jambi Penitentiary by conducting interviews. Prisoners' knowledge was in the good category as much as 40.4% of respondents. Attitudes in the positive category were 37.2% of respondents. Prisoners with housing that meets the requirements are 21.3% of respondents. Bathing habits were in the good category as many as 53.2% of respondents. Clothing cleanliness was in the good category as many as 37.2% of respondents. Towel cleanliness was in the good category as many as 41.5% of respondents.

Abstrak:
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease that is influenced by the environment and people's behavior. In Jambi City, Dengue Fever is still a public health problem. This research aims to distribute dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD) incidence in Jambi City. This research uses Global Moran's analysis and Local Indicator of Spatial Association (LISA) to determine the Hot Spot and Cold Spot areas for dengue cases in Jambi City in 2018 -2022 with a sub-district analysis unit of 62 sub-districts. During 5 years of observation, the results showed that the distribution pattern of dengue fever cases was in the form of a clustered pattern (I>E[I]) in 2018-2022. The research results on the distribution of dengue fever cases from 2018-2022 showed that the lowest cases were in 2021, namely 132 cases, while the highest cases were in 2019, 698 cases. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview of the distribution of dengue fever incidence in Jambi City in 2018 - 2022 so that it becomes a recommendation material for the Jambi City Health Office or the Jambi City Government in an overview of environmental factors related to dengue fever incidence in Jambi City to prevent various diseases due to poor environmental sanitation in Jambi City. Knowing the distribution pattern of dengue fever can determine regional priorities in implementing dengue fever prevention and control intervention programs in Jambi City.

Elementary school children are susceptible to various diseases related to PHBS such as diarrhea, DHF, etc. Currently PHBS in Indonesia is still low. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to PHBS in elementary school children in the working area of the Pakuan Baru Health Center, Jambi City, in 2022. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional design. Sampling by simple random sampling, a total sample of 105 fifth grade students. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and observations. Analysis using the chi-square test. The results of this study indicate that respondents with good PHBS were 64.8%. The results of the analysis show that The role of parents is related to PHBS p=0.003. And the role of health workers is not related to PHBS p=0.227. There is a relationship between the role of parents with PHBS in elementary school children, while the role of health workers is not related to PHBS.

Public places have the potential to become places for disease transmission and environmental pollution, for example, tourist spots. Muaro Jambi Temple is one of the cultural heritage complexes of the largest Hindu-Buddhist temple complex in Southeast Asia. It is also the most visited tourist spot in Muaro Jambi Regency. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of sanitation at the Muaro Jambi Temple tourist area. The method used in this research is qualitative research with an evaluation approach. There were 8 informants in this study who were taken by purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by means of in-depth interviews, observation, and document review. Data analysis with content analysis method. The validity test of the research was carried out using the triangulation method. The results showed that the human resources of the Jambi Kecil health center had not met the standards, the cleaning staff or caretakers at the temple were sufficient in quantity but had not been assigned specifically to implement standardization of sanitation for tourist attractions. Funds for the implementation of the program from the Public health center come from BOK, while the tourism management has not prepared funds for implementing sanitation. The facilities and infrastructure of the Public health center are adequate, but the sanitation facilities in the temples are not up to standard. There is no policy that regulates STTU. Examination and assessment of sanitation in the temple had never been done before. When a sanitary inspection was carried out, it was found that the Muaro Jambi temple did not meet health requirements, namely 42.63%. It is hoped that the regional government will make regional regulations regarding the application of STTU and tourism managers will start implementing standardization of sanitation as a necessity. Public places can potentially become places for disease transmission and environmental pollution, for example, tourist spots. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an acute viral-febrile disease, often characterized by headache, bone or joint pain and muscle, and rash as a symptom. In Indonesia in 2011 there were 65,432 cases with 595 deaths. East Java Province has determined outbreaks of DHF since 2015 in 37 districts / cities, with a total of 3,136 cases of dengue fever and 52 deaths. Pasuruan Regency is one of Kabupeten in East Java with the highest death rate from DHF compared to other regencies or cities, which is 28 people in 2020. There are many factors that can affect, pray the only environment and vector. The purpose of this research is to see the relationship of environmental factors and vector with the incidence of DBD in Pasuruan Regency. This research is an observational research with case control design. The sample in this research were 76 respondents consisting of 38 case groups and 38 control groups representing from 3 sub-districts in Pasuruan Regency (Gempol, Beji and Kraton Sub-district). Data analysis with Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between water pH in house (p = 0.005, OR = 5,343), indoor air temperature (p = 0.046, OR = 3,221), air humidity in house (p = 0.049, OR = 3,923) and presence of larvae (p = 0.037, OR = 3.032) with the incidence of DHF in Pasuruan Regency. The most influential factor in increasing the risk of DHF incidence in Pasuruan Regency is the pH of water, the temperature inside the house and the presence of larvae around the house. It needs cross-sector cooperation to pay attention to the condition of environmental sanitation so it will not be a good place for Ae mosquito development. aegypti. Providing counseling to people who focus on the source of the problem, and the community in order to prevent the occurrence of transmission of DHF by breaking the chain of transmission.

Waste that cannot be recycled and processed properly will be very dangerous for human health and the environment. Based on data from the Environmental Service of Jambi City, garbage in Jambi City reached a total of 465,693,805 kg/day, and the largest waste generation data was in Alam Barajo District where the waste generated was 75,409,004 kg/day. This research is an observational study that uses a quantitative approach with a cross sectional method. The population of Alam Barajo sub-district is 30,786 families. The sampling technique is a disproportionate stratified random sampling technique. Bivariate analysis using thetest Chi-Square, the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, namely knowledge (p = 0.000), attitude (p = 0.122), support from community leaders (p = 0.607), support from health workers (p = 0.227) with waste management household. There is a relationship between knowledge and household waste management in Alam Barajo sub-district and there is no relationship between attitudes, support from community leaders, support from health workers and household waste management.

Poor waste management can result in chemical exposure and health issues. With a %age of 42.63 %, Kerinci district is the district in Jambi province with the largest number of river trash disposals, while Penawar Village is the village with the highest number of river waste disposals. This study aims to investigate waste management training effectiveness on community behaviour in household waste to reduce the waste number into the river in Penawar village, Kerinci Regency. This research is a quasi-experimental study employing a pretest-posttest design group with a research sample of 46 houses and simple random sampling. The results showed that before the intervention, the majority of housewives' knowledge was lacking (34.8%), the majority attitude was negative (69.6%) and the majority action was poor (71.7%). After the implementation of the Household Waste Management Training, the majority of housewives' knowledge was good (89.1%), positive attitude (100%) and majority action was good (73.9%). Compared before intervention. The application of the training proved to be effective in increasing household waste management behavior with (p) < 0.05. Waste management training effectively enhances the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of housewives in managing home trash to lower the rate of garbage disposal into the river in Penawar Village, Kerinci Regency.
