This article discusses the importance of counselor ethics and competencies in the context of multicultural counseling in Indonesia. Counseling, as a professional service, requires an ethical relationship between counselor and client to support individual development. By upholding ethical values, counselors can understand and appreciate the cultural differences that exist, thus being able to provide inclusive and effective services. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study to explore the function of ethics in multicultural counseling and the barriers faced. The results showed that multicultural awareness and ethical competence are necessary to overcome challenges in counseling practice.

Within this context, counselors are expected to understand and appreciate the cultural differences faced by clients, including different values, norms, and perspectives. Multicultural counseling not only increases the effectiveness of the counseling process, but also creates a safe counseling environment for clients to express themselves. By understanding the client's cultural background, the counselor can minimize potential conflicts and increase confidence in the counseling relationship. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study to explore the challenges and solutions in multicultural counseling practice. The findings of this article suggest that sensitivity to cultural diversity is essential for successful inclusive and responsive counseling.

Kejatmikaan counseling emerged as a unique approach to counseling practice in Indonesia, based on the teachings of Kyai Samin Surosentiko that integrates social and spiritual values. Within the context of Indonesia's cultural diversity, this counseling system aims to combine international theories with local wisdom. This research explores important elements in Kyai Samin's teachings, including self-management, social awareness, and patterns of human relationships. A hermeneutic qualitative method was used to explore the basic philosophy and key concepts underlying Kejatmikaan counseling. The findings show that this approach does not only focus on solving clients' problems, but also encourages self-development and deeper awareness, resulting in individuals behaving positively in daily life. Therefore, Kejatmikaan counseling is expected to be a model of counseling practice that is harmonious with the cultural values of the community. This study aims to examine how systematic guidance and counseling services are implemented, in accordance with the management planning and adjustments that exist in the field, school environment, or community. This study uses a descriptive approach with a literature study method. The results of the study show that guidance and counseling services have an important role in student development. The concept of consultation services in guidance and counseling is explained in detail, including the objectives, models, and stages of implementation. The study also underlines the importance of planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, and evaluating in the management of guidance and counseling services. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more effective and efficient guidance and counseling services in schools.

The teaching profession is a profession that plays an important role in the development of education. Teachers are not only tasked with teaching, but also guiding and forming students’ characters. Teachers are the most influential component in creating quality educational processes and outcomes. The success of a teacher in carrying out his duties as an educator is largely determined by the competence of the teacher concerned. With such complex tasks, this profession requires special skills and various competencies to carry it out. This research aims to dig deeper into the definition of the teaching profession, social responsibility and the role of teachers. The research method used is a literature study using a qualitative approach. Various literature sources, such as books, journals and scientific articles, are used to collect related data. The research results show that teachers have a big responsibility both in the school environment and in society, with the main challenges being technological developments and inequality in educational facilities.

Profession etymologically comes from the word profession (English) which comes from the Latin profess which means "capable or expert in work". A profession can be interpreted as a job or position that requires skills obtained through certain education and training according to special requirements, have certain responsibilities and codes of ethics. Teachers can be said to be a profession because not everyone can become a teacher, becoming a teacher must also go through formal education and training, and have a certain code of ethics. This research aims to understand more deeply the concept of teachers as a profession. The method used in this study uses qualitative research methods, in the form of literature studies. Education is a fundamental aspect in the formation of human personality which continues to develop over time. In Indonesia, education has gone through a long history, with various efforts made to ensure that every citizen has equal and quality access to develop their potential optimally. This research aims to analyze and examine various theories and research results on the development of the Indonesian education system. The research uses qualitative methods with a literature review type. The results of this research include (1) a historical basis that studies past developments, (2) a philosophical basis that examines basic values, (3) a psychological basis that considers individual psychological aspects, (4) a sociological basis that examines social dynamics, (5) the Tut Wuri Handayani foundation which emphasizes support and encouragement from behind, (6) the science and technology foundation which utilizes developments in science and technology, and (7) the juridical foundation which adheres to the applicable legal framework.

The concept of management in guidance and counseling is the process of planning, designing, organizing, and directing in the process of providing guidance and counseling services in a school or an organization. The method used in this research is the literature study method, which is a written summary that includes articles from journals, books, and other documents that define theories and provide information. The results of this study include: (1) the concept of management in counseling guidance, (2) the principles of applying guidance and counseling management, (3) organizational patterns in guidance and counseling, (4) stages of applying management in guidance and counseling, and (5) forms of evaluation in the process of guidance and counseling services.

Case transfer in management Guidance and counseling is an important process in handling student problems that are too complex. The purpose of this case transfer was to obtain supporting data regarding the students who were transferred to the case and to provide more effective guidance services by experts. This process involves identification, assessment, and transfer of responsibility from one counselor to another counselor or the BK team. For example, a psychological test, a guidance and counseling teacher can collaborate with a psychology institution to obtain data related to students' psychological development. The case transfer program can collaborate with other professionals, such as psychiatrists, police, doctors and other professionals.
