This study investigates how Lembaga Musik Pervagatus, a group that does not display Islamic identity, creates an Islamic musical image when performing at religious events in Islamic campuses.  This study investigates how visual elements, song selection, and stage interaction influence audience perception. It does so using qualitative methods through interviews and performance observations.  How the band's performative identity is influenced by attributes such as appearance, personality, cultural values, and audience relations is studied using Kapferer's Brand Identity Prism model.  Conversely, Stuart Hall's theory of representation helps explain how Islamic meaning emerges in the context of events. The results show that the image of Islamic music attached to Pervagatus does not originate from the band's original identity; rather, it is a construction of meaning influenced by the context of religious events and the audience's interpretation of the song ‘Maulana Ya Maulana’ that they performed.  This perception was further reinforced by their neat, polite, and enthusiastic appearance.  The results show that the relationship between performance, context, and audience interpretation shapes the image of Islamic music on campus.

This research is motivated by the view that literary works, including children's films, serve not only as entertainment but also as a means of moral learning that plays an essential role in shaping children's character. The film Paddington (2014) was chosen because it features an innocent main character who can represent moral values through simple actions and dialogue. The purpose of this study is to describe how the main character's innocence is depicted in the film and how these moral values can serve as a learning medium for children. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis. Data were obtained through observations of scenes, dialogues, and the main character's actions that demonstrate innocence and the moral values contained therein. The results show that Paddington's innocence manifests in honesty, politeness, trust, and a high level of curiosity, though this often leads to misunderstandings or chaos. The method used in this study is qualitative, with a literature study and descriptive analysis approach. The analysis was conducted on relevant sources. The findings indicate that Arabic education within the framework of Islamic Tarbiyah not only emphasizes mastery of language skills but also the importance of shaping students' faith, morals, and Islamic character. The integration of tarbawi values into the objectives, materials, methods, and evaluation of learning becomes a key element in creating Arabic language education that is valuable and aligned with the goals of Islamic education. Its implications are expected to serve as a reference for curriculum development, teacher competence improvement, as well as the formulation of contextual, integrative, and sustainable Arabic language learning policies in national Islamic educational institutions.

. Film as a mass communication medium not only functions as entertainment, but also as a means of representing power relations in society. Miracle in Cell No. 7 works by Hanung Bramantyo show various forms of official domination and legal inequality which are relevant to be studied through a hegemony perspective. This research aims to describe the forms of hegemony that appear in the film and interpret the social criticism conveyed through the narrative and visualization. The research uses qualitative methods with listening and note-taking techniques, then the data is analyzed through reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions based on Antonio Gramsci's theory of hegemony. The research results show that this film contains four forms of hegemony: ideological hegemony through the instillation of disciplinary values; hegemony of power through apparatus domination and abuse of authority; cultural hegemony through the imposition of a single standard of behavior; and moral hegemony through the formation of ethical judgments that benefit those in power. These findings indicate that films not only present emotional stories, but also present criticism of legal injustice and structural domination. This research confirms that visual media plays an important role in forming public awareness regarding the practice of power in social life.

The epistemology of modern science develops with the assumption that neutrality and objectivity distinguish facts from values. This belief leads to the reduction of values, especially those related to ethical, metaphysical, and spiritual values, during the development of science. The purpose of this paper is to examine the problem of value reduction in the epistemology of modern science and to examine the Islamization of science as an epistemic alternative. This research method is qualitative, literature-based, and critical-philosophical. Epistemological critiques of value-free science, based on positivism and modern empiricism, and a study of the theory of the Islamization of science by Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and Ismail Raji al-Faruqi are used to complete the analysis. The results of this study indicate that the epistemological separation between facts and values in contemporary science leads to a decline in values. The Islamization of science offers an alternative epistemic framework that positions science as a meaningful, valuable, and goal-oriented activity. Thus, without rejecting the methodological progress of contemporary science, it remains a plausible option. Despite lingering problems with the methodological formulation, this article asserts that the Islamization of science is relevant as a theoretical response to the crisis of values in the epistemology of modern science.

This study aims to examine the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in transforming Buddhist Sunday School education at the Shimakalingga Temple in Jepara in the digital era. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results show that AI technology is beginning to be utilized in the learning process, such as the use of interactive visual media, Dharma quiz applications, and digital platforms for distance learning. The use of AI has been proven to increase student interest and understanding of Buddhist teachings, as well as support more inclusive and adaptive learning. However, challenges remain, including limited resources, lack of teacher training, and the need for ethical guidelines for the use of AI in the context of religious education. This study concludes that AI plays a significant role in supporting the transformation of Buddhist education, but its use must remain balanced with spiritual values and the role of teachers as moral guides. Therefore, collaboration between the temple, educators, and technology is needed to create a sustainable learning system based on Dharma values.

Buddhist teachings play a crucial role in addressing various social problems that continue to develop in the modern era. Rapid social change, globalization, and technological advancement have brought not only positive impacts but also serious challenges, such as increasing social conflicts, moral degradation, individualism, and the weakening of social awareness within society. In this context, Buddhism offers universal ethical guidance that remains relevant across time, particularly through the principles of compassion (karuṇā), loving-kindness (mettā), wisdom (paññā), and mental equanimity (upekkhā), which guide individuals toward harmonious and responsible living. This study aims to analyze the role of Buddhist values in providing solutions to contemporary social problems. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method based on library research, using a hermeneutic approach to Buddhist sacred texts and relevant scientific studies. The findings indicate that the application of Buddhist values contributes significantly to the development of social morality, the strengthening of social solidarity, conflict resolution, and the formation of individual character marked by empathy, tolerance, and responsibility. Furthermore, these values play an essential role in fostering interreligious harmony and cultivating collective awareness of the importance of peaceful coexistence within pluralistic and multicultural societies.

The Qur’an and Hadith, as the primary sources of Islamic teachings, provide a comprehensive value framework regarding the ideal character that should be possessed by both educators and learners. Educators are required to demonstrate sincerity, patience, justice, noble character, and to serve as role models (uswah hasanah) for their students. Education is a fundamental pillar in the formation of individual character and personality. This study aims to examine and analyze the concepts of attitudes and personality of educators and learners based on the Qur’an and Hadith. The method employed is a literature review using a qualitative approach through the analysis of relevant Qur’anic verses and Prophetic traditions. The results of the study indicate that learners are individuals who strive to develop their potential through the learning process within educational pathways, both formal and non-formal, at certain levels and types of education. Among the ethics of learners toward educators are sitting politely in front of the teacher, speaking respectfully, not interrupting the teacher while speaking, listening attentively to the teacher’s explanations, asking questions gently and respectfully when something is not understood, attending school regularly, avoiding truancy and lateness without valid reasons, entering the classroom promptly before the teacher arrives, and obeying the teacher’s advice.

The wedding walimah is a religious tradition that has strong roots in Islamic teachings and continues to thrive in social practices. In the West Cengkareng area, the walimah tradition is not only understood as an expression of gratitude for the marriage contract, but also as a means of strengthening social solidarity and maintaining relationships. This study aims to analyze the wedding walimah tradition of the Cengkareng Barat community from the perspective of living hadith, which is to see how the Prophet's hadith is understood and manifested in the context of local culture. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the practice of walimah is based on the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, which encourages the holding of walimah, even if it is simple. In practice, walimah has undergone local cultural acculturation, both in terms of the form of the banquet and the series of events. The tradition of Ketupat Qunutan on the 15th night of Ramadan in Kampung Pinang, Tangerang City, is a religious practice of the Muslim community that integrates congregational qunut prayers, the making and distribution of ketupat as a symbol of gratitude, almsgiving, purity of heart, and brotherhood. Through a living hadith study approach, this research analyzes how the values of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, such as communal prayer, food charity, and strengthening Islamic brotherhood, are contextualized within the local culture of the archipelago without a literal textual basis, but rather as a harmonious actualization between Islamic teachings and traditional wisdom. The findings show the dynamics of religious understanding between textual and contextual approaches, in which this tradition strengthens social solidarity, mutual cooperation, and the transmission of the Islamic identity of the archipelago, while also functioning as effective cultural da'wah without contradicting sharia law. This study contributes to the study of Islamic anthropology and living sunnah, affirming cultural acculturation as a form of religious expression that is alive and relevant.
