Lightning has always been a dangerous threat to the equipment of electric power systems consisting of: power plants, substations, transmission lines and distribution lines. Generally, overhead high-voltage transmission lines are exposed to lightning strikes. Therefore, the degree of protection against lightning is determined based on the degree of insulation of the equipment. To prevent damage to equipment due to lightning strikes, arresters are used. In this study, three arrester models were used as comparisons, namely. IEEE arrester model. The system was simulated using Alternative Transients Program (ATP) software. The results showed that the lightning rod was declared successful in protecting the transmission system, where the three lightning rods had a Margin Protection (MP) of arresters that reached 28%. In the simulation, it is known that the IEEE arrester successfully cut off the lightning current in the transmission system so that the transient overvoltage recorded on the transformer does not exceed the Basic Insulation Level ((BIL) trafo.  

This research is motivated by the importance of critical discourse analysis in the Representation of Indonesian Leaders Post Covid-19. This study aims to reveal the representation of the Indonesian government after covid-19 through covid-19 news. This research method uses a critical paradigm that focuses on multilevel methods. Discourse analysis in research also focuses on the ideology carried by online media. The approach in this study uses an approach developed by van Dijk. Research data is sourced from COVID-19 news throughout 2020. The accuracy of this research is also maintained because it uses layered search sources according to the critical discourse analysis approach in accordance with Fairclough's theory. The results of the discourse analysis show that CNN and BCC have similarities in representing the handling of Covid-19 in Indonesia, namely: the Indonesian government, under Jokowi's leadership, is not able to handle Covid-19 properly. From the point of view of critical discourse analysis, such representations contain partiality. This strengthens van Dijk's (2013) opinion that a text contains dominance and partisanship. In fact, according to Holmes & Castañeda (2016), representation can be considered as truth. The representation provided by CNI and BCI is also motivated by social elements, as stated by Fairclough (2013) that discourse is always related to social elements, including power, ideology, institutions, and other identities.

Graphic design has become a necessity in various areas of life, including branding and website design. Nowadays, graphic design has become an important part of various sectors of life, especially to support the economic and marketing sectors. Therefore, graphic design visual arts abilities and skills are very necessary. This is an opportunity to equip young people with graphic design skills. The results of a survey conducted by the service team showed that Medan city teenagers have a high interest in graphic design art. So real efforts need to be made to equip Medan city teenagers with graphic design skills. Therefore, in this community service activity, graphic design training and assistance was carried out using the Canva application to increase the creativity of Medan city teenagers. The method of implementing community service is in the form of lectures providing material directly by resource persons to partners.

Pemerintah saat ini sudah berupaya untuk memperhatikan Kesehatan para lansia, yaitu melalui program- programnya  dari Puskesmas seperti posyandu lansia, namun hal ini masih kurang luas dapat menjangkau para lansia. Hal itu disebabkan karena dengan intensitas kegiatan posyandu yang hanya dilakukan satu kali dalam beberapa minggu oleh karena banyaknya lingkungan dalam cakupan wilayah kerja yang harus dijangkau Puskesmas yang ada di Ds Besani Kec Blado Kab. Batang. Akibatnya para lansia yang mengalami keluhan kembali akan sulit memeriksakan diri ke puskesmas karena masalah kemampuan fisik dan transportasi. Guna mengatasi hal tersebut maka kebutuhan para lansia dalam peningkatan kesehatan diri mereka utamanya melalui Pola Hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) sangatlah penting disampaikan, agar para lansia senantiasa sehat dan tidak mudah terserang penyakit.  Dalam mendukung kegiatan ini menggunakan media visual berupa tayangan Power Point dilayar proyektor. Sebelum program ini dimulai peneliti melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis berupa pemeriksaan gula darah sewaktu (GDS). Metode yang digunakan antara lain: Pengisian pre-test, Ceramah dan presentasi,Pengisian post-test. Pengisian pre-test lansia yang datang ke posyandu setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan langsung dipersilakan duduk kemudian diarahkan mengisi kuesioner yang sudah diberikan. Ceramah dan presentasi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para lansia mengenai PHBS dan gizi seimbang. Kegiatan ini melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa Program Studi Hukum Program Magister  Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Semarang.

Child assistance is usually carried out on Sundays so it is called Sunday school, Sunday School assistants are not professionals who get special education such as ECCE educators in schools. Many of these Sunday School faith companions are armed only to serve or guide this child's faith. This Community Service or PKM aims to equip Sunday School faith companions to be better in mentoring. With the right learning method or model, the faith materials given are in accordance with the child's reasoning and grasping power. The assistance was carried out by involving students to be directly involved in three rayon parishes in Semarang city and inviting all Semarang Rayon Sunday School Faith companions at Oak Tree Hotel on December 10, 2023, to share experiences and provide input to children's Faith Companions. As a result of this debriefing, Sunday School Faith Companions felt cared for and greatly helped in fostering faith in children.

Data is reduced, presented, concluded from, and verified by researchers. The conclusion is as follows, based on data analysis: (1) Planning is done by creating operational work plans and objectives. (2) Methods for regulating the use of resources, methods for socializing the work plan, and mechanisms for regulating the execution of a work plan that go along with the delegation of tasks and powers are established.

Tradition cannot be separated from the traces of human travel, as a characteristic form found in a social group and formed naturally which continuously reproduces practices in the process of interaction. With a disaster or disaster occurring in the midst of the Tandikek Community, the Community will carry out the Ratik tradition of rejecting evil. Tandikek people believe in this tradition, because of the existence of supernatural powers. This is what makes them always carry out the tradition of 'resist evil'. The first problem in this article is the role of the Ratik tradition in repelling reinforcements for the Tandikek Community. The theory used in this problem is the Redcliffe-Brown functional structural theory, which states that aspects of social behavior do not develop for individual needs, but to maintain the social structure of society. The tradition of ratik rejecting reinforcements at tandikek is one of the local wisdoms. The ratik tradition of rejecting reinforcements has maintained and fostered social ties among the Tandikek community. Society realizes that there must be harmony between humans and supernatural beings.

Background: Ointment is a semisolid preparation used as a topical medicine, which has direct access to the skin tissues. Katang-katang is one of the medicinal plants traditionally used to treat various types of wounds. Objective: The aim of this study is to identify the secondary metabolite content of katang-katang leaves (Ipomoea pescaprae L.), create and evaluate a good and stable ointment formulation pharmaceutically, and test the irritation of the ointment for burn wounds using ethanol extract of katang-katang leaves (Ipomoea pescaprae L.). Method: The method used is experimental research, the ointment formulation is made using three formulations with different concentrations of active ingredients, with a ratio of FI 20%, FII 25%, and FIII 30%. Result: The results of the study indicate that katang-katang leaves contain flavonoids, tannins, and steroids. The study determined the formulation of a burn ointment from ethanol extract of katang-katang leaves (Ipomoea pescaprae L.). The organoleptic test results of FI, FII, and FIII showed good and stable color, odor, and shape, as well as homogeneity after one week of storage. The pH values measured were 7 for all formulations even after one week of storage. The spreading power of FI was (5.52 cm), FII was (5.88 cm), and FIII was (7.23 cm), which met the standards for good formulation. The irritation tests for all three formulas were categorized as safe. Conclusion: Based on the identification test results, the katang-katang leaves were found to contain flavonoids, tannins, and steroids. The evaluation test results for the three formulations using a hydrocarbon base showed that a good and stable burn ointment could be made from the ethanol extract of katang-katang leaves (Ipomoea pescaprae L.) without causing skin irritation.

Adolescent reproductive health is basic knowledge that must be understood by Madrasah Aliyah Wihdatul Ulum students who are growing up as teenagers, in the transition period from childhood. Providing students with knowledge about reproductive health is considered important in order to create awareness about the importance of maintaining reproductive health, so that they have less potential to experience early pregnancy. Pregnancy at teenage increases the risk of giving birth to premature babies and low birth weight (LBW) which is closely related to the risk of stunting. Data from the Parangloe Community Health Center in 2021, the number of stunting cases is still relatively high, namely 43 cases, there are 26 children under the red line (BGM). ) who have the potential for stunting, in 2022 in Bontokasi Village there will be 3 toddlers suffering from stunting. Madrasah Aliyah Wihdatul Ulum students have never received literacy through Communication Information Education (KIE) regarding adolescent reproductive health in relation to stunting, because there is no UKS at the school so it cannot carry out its function in maintaining students' health status and there is no Communication Information Education (KIE) literacy. regarding health in general and regarding reproductive health in particular. Providing adolescent reproductive health literacy education in efforts to prevent stunting using various media, power point slides, standing banners and brochures as well as lecture and discussion methods to increase the knowledge of Madrasah Aliyah Wihdatul Ulum Parangloe students

School-age children are children aged between 6 and 12 years and are one of the groups of children who are vulnerable to nutritional problems (Ulpa et al., 2018). Poor nutritional status in children will affect physical growth, mental development and thought processes which will impact their production power and work ability as adults (Wicaksana & Nurrizka, 2019). The aim of this service activity is to increase students' knowledge about the importance of nutrition for school-aged children to support the growth and development of school-aged children to prevent nutritional problems in school-aged children, for this reason it is necessary to carry out health promotion efforts in the form of providing education and evaluation to increase knowledge. about nutrition so that it can increase awareness of school-age children in maintaining health.

Regarding the arrival of Islam in Indonesia, different perspectives emerge, influenced by the complexity of the phenomenon that Islam does not have a single origin in one place or a specific group.  This diversity of theories is shaped by differences in historians' evidence, interests, religious subjectivities, and  ideologies.  Although  the early arrival of Islam was concluded in 1963, research on the process of the arrival and development of Islam in Indonesia continues to develop, providing opportunities to refine or strengthen existing theories.  Ulama (Islamic scholars) play a central role in the early arrival and development of Islam in Indonesia. Arab merchants, who were also Islamic scholars, formed the first group to propagate and develop Islam, followed by professional Sufi dais (religious leaders).  The  Sufi ulama figures are closely related to two main figures: the 4,444 traders who spread Islam through trade, the economic center of society, and the sultans, who spread Islam through  authority. These features of the spread of Islam effectively contributed to the growth of Islam.The ulama developed Islam through three main channels: culture (preaching, educatin, art, culture, marriage), struture (politics and power), and economics (through trade routes). In other words, the Islaization process in Indonesia is influenced by political power and the spirit of da'wah.  In this context, keywords such as the entry of Islam in Indonesia, the development of Islam in Indonesia, the role of ulama and Sufis, and da'wah are central points for understanding these power relations.

The protection of children regulated in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection is still not running effectively due to various forms of abuse directed to the child's home environment, including child abuse practices where the child fails to follow the rules or procedures, there are potential consequences that can cause the child to become less normal.

of this research entitled "Analysis of Balance and Arm Muscle Power with Discus Throwing Ability in Class X Students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Bener Meriah Regency.". This study aims to determine the relationship between balance and arm muscle power and discus throwing ability in Class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar, Bener Meriah Regency. . This research uses a quantitative approach with a type of correlation. The population in this study were all Class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar, Bener Meriah Regency. For this research sample, the author determined the total sampling sample, that is, the total sample was 23 people. Data collection techniques are: (1) balance test using the modified bass test (2) arm muscle power test and (3) discus throwing ability test. The data analysis technique used is correlation. From the results of data analysis, research results were obtained, namely: (1) there was a positive and significant relationship between balance and discus throwing (r = 0.61), arm muscle power contributed 32.46% to discus throwing ability. (2) there is a positive and significant relationship between balance and discus throwing ability (r = 0.75), arm muscle power contributes 55.862% to discus throwing ability, and (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between balance and muscle power arm together with disc sheet ability (r = 0.78). Balance and arm muscle power contribute 63.84% to discus throwing ability together.

As a plastic factory, PT Batam Plastik will add plastic waste that cannot be broken down in Batam City. This article was created to analyze the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and green human resource management at PT Batam Plastik. This type of qualitative research uses data collection techniques using interview and observation techniques. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, PT Plastik Batam has implemented the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and environmentally friendly human resource management correctly. This is based on data from interviews conducted where PT Plastik Batam recycles plastic waste into recycled products and has trained its employees on how to recycle plastic and reuse plastic.
