The Impactfull Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Mayjen Sungkono in Pohjejer Village was conducted to optimize the utilization of butterfly pea flower (Clitoria ternatea) as a local resource that has not been fully utilized. The main problem faced by the community, particularly housewives, is the limited knowledge and skills related to the benefits, processing techniques, and business opportunities of butterfly pea flowers. This program aimed to enhance community knowledge and skills in processing butterfly pea flowers into herbal beverage products with economic value and the potential to be developed as home-based enterprises. The implementation methods included a community organizing approach, participatory socialization, interactive discussions, and direct demonstrations of herbal beverage production using butterfly pea flowers. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of the health benefits of butterfly pea flowers, appropriate processing methods, and their potential development as MSME products. In addition, the program increased participants’ interest and motivation to independently produce herbal beverages as an additional source of household income. Overall, this KKN program had a positive impact on encouraging the utilization of local resources to improve household economic conditions and empower rural communities.
This activity was conducted in Timbang Lawan Village, located in Bahorok Sub-district, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. The results of surveys and interviews with partners indicate that most residents, especially housewives, carry out activities at home, work as agricultural laborers, and engage in farming. This situation provides significant opportunities to train and educate them through programs aimed at improving economic conditions and financial independence. However, the main inhibiting factors identified are limited access to information, knowledge, and technology, which hinder their creativity in utilizing leisure time productively. The purpose of this community empowerment program is to provide education and socialization to inspire and empower the community in addressing economic problems through training in making dishwashing liquid. After this activity, it is expected that participants can reduce household expenses by no longer needing to purchase dishwashing liquid on a daily basis. Moreover, if opportunities arise, they may also identify business prospects to develop dishwashing liquid production. The expected benefit of this activity is to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among housewives in Timbang Lawan Village.
This study aims to analyze the opportunities, threats, strengths, and weaknesses of Arch Barbershop, a modern barbershop in Maumere City. The study was conducted using a descriptive approach through observation of the business environment, competitor analysis, and identification of local consumer preferences. The analysis shows that Arch Barbershop has promising opportunities due to the increasing trend of grooming among teenagers and young adults, and the lack of barbershops offering modern and consistent service concepts in the area. However, this business also faces threats in the form of competition from new barbershops, rapidly changing consumer preferences, and dependence on barber skills as the spearhead of service quality. Furthermore, internal weaknesses such as limited space, inflexible operating hours, and a less than optimal variety of services pose challenges to business development. By understanding these opportunities, threats, strengths, and weaknesses, Arch Barbershop can formulate a more effective development strategy to increase its competitiveness and business sustainability in Maumere City.

Program pengabdian ini menjawab kesenjangan kapasitas UMKM di Desa Plelen sebagai desa penyangga Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB), khususnya pada aspek kualitas produk, keterampilan manajerial, dan kelembagaan ekonomi masyarakat. Tujuan utama kegiatan adalah meningkatkan kesiapan UMKM dalam memanfaatkan peluang ekonomi industri melalui: (1) peningkatan kualitas produk dan kemasan; (2) pelatihan manajemen usaha dan penyusunan business plan; serta (3) fasilitasi pembentukan Koperasi Merah Putih sebagai wadah ekonomi kolektif. Pendekatan Pembelajaran Berbasis Partisipatif diterapkan untuk memastikan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam seluruh tahapan program. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada diversifikasi produk, standar higienitas produksi, literasi bisnis, serta terbentuknya koperasi yang berfungsi mendukung pemasaran dan keberlanjutan usaha. Dengan demikian, model pemberdayaan terintegrasi yang menguatkan aspek teknis, manajerial, dan kelembagaan terbukti efektif dalam mempersiapkan desa penyangga menuju transformasi sosial-ekonomi yang inklusif dan adaptif terhadap industrialisasi.
Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran krusial dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam aspek pemasaran dan branding produk. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM di Desa Kalipucang Wetan, Kecamatan Welahan, adalah minimnya inovasi dalam desain kemasan serta kurangnya pemanfaatan strategi pemasaran digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya tarik produk UMKM, khususnya Kerupuk Lala 73, dengan mengembangkan desain kemasan yang lebih menarik serta menerapkan strategi digital marketing. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mencakup observasi, pendampingan, pelatihan, dan evaluasi terhadap pelaku UMKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembaruan pada desain label dan kemasan mampu meningkatkan daya tarik produk, sedangkan pemanfaatan platform digital seperti TikTok, Facebook, dan marketplace lainnya berhasil memperluas jangkauan pasar. Dengan strategi pemasaran digital yang tepat, produk UMKM berpotensi lebih dikenal luas dan memiliki peluang yang lebih besar dalam meningkatkan penjualan.

Pada masa kepengurusan sebelumnya, BUMDes Teluk Bakau belum berjalan secara maksimal, sehingga belum dapat memberikan sumbangan terhadap PADes. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk inovasi yang diterapkan oleh BUMDes Teluk Bakau dalam upaya meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat desa pada tahun 2023. Penelitian ini mengacu pada teori inovasi yang dikemukakan oleh Geoff Mulgan dan David Albury (2003), serta menggunakan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Informan penelitian ini mencakup unsur Pemerintah Desa, Direktur BUMDes “Bina Sejahtera”, BPD, Tokoh Masyarakat, serta pihak ketiga (kemitraan) yang diperlukan untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait BUMDes dalam meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Inovasi produk, yang dijalankan oleh BUMDes berhasil menciptakan dan mengembangkan produk baru yang memanfaatkan potensi lokal, menciptakan peluang kerja dan membantu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat desa. (2) Inovasi proses, Pemerintah Desa memberikan dukungan berupa pelatihan kepada pengurus BUMDes untuk memperkuat kemampuan dalam mengelola unit usaha, menerapkan surat perjanjian yang sebelumnya tidak ada. (3) Inovasi metode pelayanan, pada inovasi ini BUMDes hanya melakukan optimalisasi terkait komunikasi antara BUMDes dengan masyarakat. (4) Inovasi strategi kebijakan, sejauh ini BUMDes tidak ada inovasi baru terkait strategi kebijakan, hanya menekankan keterbukaan dan keterlibatan masyarakat melalui pelaksanaan rapat monitorng dan evaluasi setiap tiga bulan sekali, pendekatan ini berperan penting dalam membangun kepercayaan masyarakat. (5) Inovasi sistem, BUMDes mampu membangun kemitraan dengan berbagai pihak eksternal. Inovasi ini merupakan inovasi baru. Kemitraan ini mencerminkan kapasitas BUMDes dalam memperluas jaringan kerja, meningkatkan pendapatan unit usaha, serta membuka peluang ekonomi terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat.
UMKM berperan penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun menghadapi kendala akses informasi dan pembiayaan. Sosialisasi sertifikasi halal di Kelurahan Karangrejo oleh Fakultas Hukum Untag Semarang dan Kemenag bertujuan meningkatkan daya saing UMKM melalui pemahaman regulasi halal dan membuka peluang pasar yang lebih luas. Program pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan mengetaui pelaksanaan sosialisasi sertifikasi produk halal bagi pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Karangrejo, Semarang dan mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh sosialisasi sertifikasi produk halal terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk UMKM di Kelurahan Karangrejo, Semarang. Sosialisasi sertifikasi halal di Kelurahan Karangrejo berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan semangat pelaku UMKM dalam mengurus label halal sebagai nilai tambah produk dan strategi pemasaran. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya bersifat informatif, tetapi juga interaktif dan aplikatif, sehingga mendorong pelaku usaha mengambil langkah nyata. Kolaborasi antara Fakultas Hukum Untag, Kementerian Agama, dan UMKM Center memperkuat dampak kegiatan. Keberhasilan ini menciptakan kepercayaan konsumen dan membentuk ekosistem bisnis halal yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Sosialisasi ini juga memiliki potensi untuk direplikasi di daerah lain sebagai strategi pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal yang efektif.
Competition law is an important instrument in maintaining healthy and fair market dynamics, especially in the era of globalization marked by increasingly competitive economic growth. This article discusses how business competition takes place at the regional level, with particular attention to the obstacles faced by small entrepreneurs in facing the dominance of established companies. The competition that emerges is not only limited to price issues, but also involves difficulties in accessing capital, distribution networks, technology, and unfavorable regulations. Existing companies generally have strong structural strengths and networks, which create major barriers for new entrants. In addition, there are signs of unfair competitive practices that can threaten the survival of small businesses. However, advances in technology and digitalization are opening up new avenues for small entrepreneurs to enter the market and establish direct relationships with customers. This article aims to identify various forms of business competition at the local level, analyze the opportunities and challenges that exist, and develop strategies that encourage the creation of a healthy and inclusive competitive environment for the sustainability of local economic growth.
UMKM merupakan kegiatan usaha yang mampu memperluas dan memberikan peluang bagi masyarakat untuk pemerataan dan peningkatan pendapatan, mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, yang berperan dalam mewujudkan stabilatas nasional. Peran serta pemerintah daerah melalui Dinas Koperasi, Usaha Kecil, Menengah dan Perdagangan (DKUKMP) Kota Bontang dalam pemberdayaan diharapkan dapat memperluas lapangan kerja, meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat serta bisa lebih banyak menyerap tenaga kerja. UMKM diharapkan semakin berperan dalam menekan angka pengangguran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi pemberdayaan UMKM dalam rangka peningkatan perekonomian di Kota Bontang. Peneliti menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah Kota Bontang melalui DKUKMP telah memberikan dukungan dalam program pemberdayaan UMKM dan terjadi peningkatan dari tahun 2019 sampai dengan tahun 2023.
This community service article is a qualitative research, containing efforts to enlighten through exploring business opportunities, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit for teenagers, especially administrators and members of the youth organization. This is done to help the government's program in reducing the impact of unemployment due to the many efficiencies carried out by companies that lay off their employees, eradicating poverty and strengthening food security. The method used is initial socialization about what entrepreneurship is, several new business opportunities that can be pursued as well as marketing strategies. In addition to socialization, there is also intensive mentoring and trying to provide examples of digital marketing. With this youth empowerment activity, it is hoped that it will open their insights and paradigms about the importance of rising from the slump due to unemployment, to becoming a successful entrepreneur in several varied business segments.

Making a modern bun from coconut fiber to support your appearance can be an idea for a business opportunity because the coconut fiber fiber material does not require too much additional material, so the price of a modern bun from coconut fiber is relatively cheaper. The aim of this research is to find out and explain the process of making a modern bun from coconut fiber, validate the modern bun from coconut fiber, and the public's acceptance of the modern bun from coconut fiber. Data collection uses the methods of observation, literature, experiments, documentation, interviews, questionnaires, and data analysis using descriptive qualitative. The sensory test results from 3 coloring trials on the bun were declared valid on product 3 with a total average color of 4.5, a total average texture of 4.3, a total average of packaging of 4.5, while the total the average aroma is 4.1. The results of the public test showed that people's acceptance was at the highest level of liking in experiment 3 with an average total of 4.5 colors, a texture of 4.3, an average total of packaging of 4.5 while an average total of aroma of 4.1. From the research results, making modern buns from coconut fiber is quite good, creative and innovative, so it can be a business opportunity.
The use of banana stems as a basic ingredient for chips is an innovative effort to reduce organic waste as well as open up new business opportunities for the people of Depok Village, Bendungan District, Trenggalek Regency. This topic of service was chosen because banana stem waste is generally unused and often becomes a source of environmental pollution. In fact, banana stems have great potential as an alternative food ingredient that can be processed into products of economic value. In this service, the methods used include the socialization stage, technical training, and production assistance to ensure the community's skills in processing banana stems into chips. The socialization stage was carried out to increase residents' awareness of economic opportunities from the use of local waste. At the technical training stage, residents are taught how to choose materials, processing processes, and packaging products so that they are suitable for sale. The results of the activity showed an increase in interest and skills of residents in producing banana stem chip products with various flavor variants. In addition, this product has managed to attract the attention of local consumers and has the potential to be marketed more widely. In conclusion, the use of banana stems into chips not only reduces environmental waste but also strengthens the community's economy through sustainable new business opportunities.
Potensi besar di Desa Sajau Hilir ini terletak pada sektor pertanian, khususnya produksi padi sebagai komoditas unggulan masyarakat setempat. Namun, aktivitas pertanian menghasilkan limbah berupa sekam padi dalam jumlah cukup besar. Mengolah sekam padi menjadi briket memberikan manfaat besar secara ekonomi dan lingkungan. Proses ini menambah nilai pada limbah sekam padi yang sebelumnya tidak termanfaatkan, menciptakan peluang usaha baru bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Sajau Hilir tentang manfaat dan potensi sekam padi sebagai bahan baku briket. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Desa Sejau Hilir dengan tema "Pemanfaatan Limbah Sekam Padi sebagai Briket" dilaksanakan melalui metode sosialisasi dan pembekalan materi. Sosialisasi pemanfaatan sekam padi memberikan dampak positif di Desa Sajau Hilir dalam hal pemahaman, kesadaran, dan keterampilan masyarakat. Melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat yang sebelumnya tidak memiliki pengetahuan tentang potensi pengolahan limbah sekam padi kini memiliki wawasan baru tentang potensi energi alternatif dan manfaat ekonomi. Program ini tidak hanya mendorong penggunaan energi yang lebih berkelanjutan, tetapi juga memberikan peluang untuk menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan warga desa yang dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan ekonomi desa.

The implementation of this PKM is entitled "Innovation in Making Gropak Made from Cassava in the Dasawisma Group in Central Sokaraja Village RT 2 RW 7 in an Effort to Pioneer Independent Business Opportunities." This Community Service will be carried out on Jalan Sidodadi RT 2 RW 7 Sokaraja Tengah Banyumas. The method used in implementing PKM is a participatory approach, lectures, and an FGD (Focus Group Discussion) approach containing counseling on how to find out how to create greater space for women who want to try to develop themselves through productive efforts. Other benefits of women's empowerment through a creative economy by utilizing natural resources as an effort to empower women in improving the economy of dasawisma groups and village communities. Apart from that, it is hoped that with community service, the existence of universities can contribute to the development of the application of science to society. It is hoped that the knowledge gained in this community service will provide further insight into the use of natural potential to optimize the role of women, especially in improving the family economy so that women can be independent, especially in Sokaraja Tengah Village, Sokaraja Banyumas District, Central Java.
Terentang Baru Village is in the Batin XXIV District, Batang Hari Regency, which is 25 km from the sub-district capital. The area reaches 2,551.6 ha, with a population of 2,972 people. The population has the potential to be developed, the skills they have can form reliable and quality human resources. Ecoprint training is a simple, natural way of adding color to fabric by paying attention to local wisdom. Ecoprinting is done by using existing plants such as leaves, twigs and flowers without chemicals so it is very environmentally friendly. Ecoprint can be used as a business opportunity that produces art products with high selling value, which can increase people's income and economy. The aim of this service activity is (1) to improve the skills of the community in Terentang Baru Village, and (2) to create environmentally friendly business opportunities in Terentang Baru Village. The location of the activity was carried out in Terentang Baru Village, Bhatin XXIV District, Batang Hari Regency on September 14 2024 involving 6 students and 3 lecturers. The target of the activity is the people of Terentang Baru Village. The type of activity consists of an initial stage in the form of observation, followed by counseling and training which is the core stage of the activity. The final stage of the activity was evacuation. The evaluation results show that they strongly agree with the ecoprint training, which is one of the product trends that uses environmentally friendly natural dyes and is profitable for business. Ecoprint skills can create jobs, which are competitive with new innovations.
Bisnis kreatif digital mengalami pertumbuhan yang signifikan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, terutama pada produk stiker kustom yang memenuhi kebutuhan personal dan promosi. Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan Business Model Canvas (BMC) pada bisnis kreatif digital yang berfokus pada stiker kustom. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi sembilan elemen BMC, termasuk segmen pelanggan, proposisi nilai, dan saluran distribusi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa BMC mempermudah identifikasi peluang inovasi, efisiensi operasional, dan strategi keterlibatan pelanggan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dengan menawarkan rekomendasi praktis bagi pelaku usaha untuk mengoptimalkan model bisnis mereka dan tetap kompetitif di industri kreatif digital.
