This research aims to analyze students' learning climate through the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) in mathematics learning in class II of Public Elementary School 002 Palembang. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with the study subjects of grade II students. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. Research results show that the application of the PjBL model is able to form a more conducive learning climate, characterized by increased focus, attention, and student involvement in the learning process. In addition, interactions between students are becoming more directed, group collaboration is getting better, and activities that interfere with learning can be minimized. Project-based activities involving kinesthetic activities such as shearing and sticking help students become more active, creative, and easier to understand the concept of right triangles more concretely. Student-centered learning also provides an opportunity for them to learn independently and in groups so that the learning experience becomes more meaningful. Thus, the application of the PjBL model can be an effective learning alternative in creating an active, conducive, and enjoyable learning atmosphere for elementary school mathematics and supporting the achievement of learning goals optimally.

The acceleration of digitalization in recent years has shaped a new socio-economic landscape in Indonesia. Access to app-based financial services and online entertainment has increased rapidly, but at the same time, illegal online lending and digital gambling, targeting adolescents, have flourished. This paper explores a Community Service intervention model that combines preventative digital literacy and artificial intelligence (AI) optimization within the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School in Palembang. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with participant observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and written reflection analysis. Findings indicate that strengthening digital literacy based on critical awareness not only improves risk understanding but also deepens self-control integrated with religious values. AI training for educators also encourages changes in learning practices to be more adaptive and reflective of the dynamics of the digital era. This model offers a digital resilience approach that can be replicated in other educational institutions with similar characteristics.

This study aims to explore the role of pet attachment among cat owners in Palembang, focusing on how emotional bonds are formed, interpreted, and influence psychological well-being. A qualitative approach was employed using purposive sampling to select two main participants who had high interaction intensity with their cats, along with additional informants from family members and neighbors. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed thematically with source triangulation to ensure validity. The findings reveal that pet attachment develops through daily interactions such as feeding, cleaning, playing, and monitoring the cat’s health. Cats are perceived not only as domestic animals but also as companions that provide psychological comfort, emotional support, and stress reduction. Factors shaping attachment include emotional needs, intensity of daily interaction, empathy toward the pet’s condition, long-term caregiving commitment, and the perception of cats as significant companions. The duration of ownership strengthens attachment quality, while the loss of a pet triggers profound grief comparable to losing a family member. Moreover, pet attachment influences family dynamics and social identity, portraying owners as caring and empathetic individuals. In conclusion, pet attachment among cat owners in Palembang is a complex psychological phenomenon involving emotional, social, and behavioral dimensions. The relationship between humans and cats extends beyond utilitarian functions, evolving into deep affective bonds that serve as coping mechanisms and psychosocial support in urban life. These findings enrich the literature on human-animal relationships and highlight the therapeutic and emotional value of pets in modern society.

Asthma is a heterogeneous disease characterized by chronic inflammation of the airways and respiratory symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and cough, which vary over time in both frequency and severity. This condition is accompanied by limitations in expiratory airflow, which can be either reversible or persistent. In asthma patients, especially those treated in the Emergency Department (ED), a common nursing problem is ineffective airway clearance due to mucus accumulation and bronchospasm. One strategy to address this is the administration of warm drinking water, aimed at improving airway clearance. The design used in this final nursing scientific paper is a qualitative case study with an intervention of warm water intake. The subjects of this study consisted of 3 asthma patients in the ED, and the intervention was conducted from January 3-11, 2026, at the Emergency Department of Charitas Hospital Km.7 Palembang. Airway clearance was measured before and after the intervention, which involved giving 200 ml of warm water at 38ºC, without a control group. After the intervention, all three patients showed improved airway clearance, indicated by more effective coughing, decreased sputum production, reduced wheezing, improved breathing patterns, and improved respiratory rate. The implementation of this evidence-based practice (EBP) is expected to provide additional information regarding the use of nonpharmacological therapy, specifically the administration of warm drinking water, in asthma patients with ineffective airway clearance.

The tomb of Ario Damar in Palembang City represents one of the important historical sites for understanding the political, social, and religious dynamics during the transitional period from the influence of the Majapahit Kingdom to the development of Islam in the South Sumatra region. The study of this site employs the historical method through the stages of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography, using a qualitative approach. Data were collected through direct observation of the Ario Damar tomb complex and literature studies derived from scientific journals, academic articles, and relevant historiographical works. The analysis indicates that the existence of the Ario Damar tomb not only represents a physical relic of a prominent figure within the governmental structure of Palembang in the fifteenth century but also serves as material evidence reflecting the process of cultural and religious transformation in the region. The tomb site demonstrates historical connections between the political authority of Majapahit, the early development of Islam in Palembang, and the political and cultural relations between Java and Sumatra. In addition to its historical significance, the Ario Damar tomb also holds social and cultural functions as a space of collective memory for the community, which continues to be used as a site of pilgrimage and historical reflection. Therefore, the preservation of the Ario Damar tomb site is essential to maintain cultural heritage while strengthening its role as a source of local historical learning and the development of sustainable historical tourism.

This study aims to develop a strategic plan for Information Systems and Information Technology (IS/IT) at KR Hotel Palembang by applying the Ward and Peppard methodology. The analysis began with external environment assessment using the PEST framework and internal analysis through the MOST method and Value Chain model. The results were synthesized into a SWOT analysis to identify the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. From this, Critical Success Factors (CSF) were formulated to guide the determination of key information system needs. Application portfolio mapping was then conducted using the McFarlan Strategic Grid to classify systems based on their strategic impact. Findings indicate that KR Hotel has strong potential in leveraging digital technologies but faces challenges such as the absence of integrated systems across departments and limited IT training for staff. To address these issues, an integrated system named ZKBiolock was proposed, encompassing modules such as hotel management, financial management, customer relationship management (CRM), human resource training systems, digital promotion, and internal network monitoring and control. This strategic plan is supported by a comprehensive database design, network topology, human resource and infrastructure analysis, investment budgeting, and Return on Investment (ROI) evaluation. The proposed strategy aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the hotel's operational management.
