The assessment of student achievement is one of the main indicators in measuring the effectiveness of the educational process in Islamic boarding schools. The assessment process that has been carried out manually tends to be subjective, so it has the potential to cause a discrepancy between the student's achievement and the results of the evaluation received. This research aims to develop a decision support system that is able to assess student achievement in an objective, measurable, and transparent manner by applying the PROMETHEE (Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation) method. This method is used because it has the ability to manage various assessment criteria simultaneously to produce fair and rational alternative rankings. The research approach used is quantitative descriptive by involving a number of students as research samples. The data was analyzed through the stages of determining weight, calculating preference values, and determining the values of leaving flow, entering flow, and net flow as the basis for determining the final ranking. The results of the study show that the PROMETHEE method can provide consistent and accurate ranking results, by placing students who have academic excellence, discipline, and positive personalities in the top position. These findings prove that the PROMETHEE method is effective in overcoming the subjectivity of the assessment and increasing the transparency of the evaluation process. Practically, the resulting system can help the pesantren in determining outstanding students more efficiently and based on data, as well as theoretically strengthen the application of multicriteria decision-making methods in the context of Islamic education.’

Lecturers are a key element in improving the quality of education in higher education. Effective assessment of lecturer performance is essential for evaluation and improvement of education quality. Instituito Profissional de Canossa (IPDC) evaluates lecturer performance through manual methods involving students, this process often produces inaccurate data and slows down decision making. For this reason, a decision support system is needed that can accommodate all the criteria needed in decision making using the promethee method to assess lecturer performance. Promethee was chosen in this research because of its ability to consider data characteristics and provide more accurate results. This DSS will consider three assessment criteria, including education, community service and research. The results of the DSS implementation with the Promethee method can provide recommendations for lecturer performance rankings that help the quality assurance team in identifying outstanding lecturers.

Perception refers Perception is an individual's way of viewing a situation, shaped by their experiences, environment, and values. Communication strategy is the planning and management done to achieve a particular goal. This study focuses on three research questions: 1. What is the perception of outstanding students in developing communication skills? 2. What is the strategy of outstanding students in developing communication skills? 3. What are the opportunities and challenges faced by outstanding students in building communication skills? The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques employed include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the perception of outstanding students in developing communication skills includes: 1. Learning through practice, and 2. Having both introverted and extroverted traits. The strategies of outstanding students in developing communication skills include: 1. Recognizing the audience, 2. Non-verbal communication, 3. Joining interest groups, 4. Applying the "rule of three" technique, 5. Participating in public speaking activities, 6. Finding examples of communication from great figures, 7. Communicating every day and evaluating. The opportunities and challenges of outstanding students in building communication skills include: 1. Group communication, and the challenge of adapting (both internal and external)

This study focuses on the development of student character, particularly in terms of discipline and responsibility, at SMPN 1 Ngunut, an outstanding school in Tulungagung Regency. Seventh-grade students are in a transitional phase from elementary to junior high school, making them vulnerable to the influences of their environment and the changing times. Based on observations, many students have not yet demonstrated disciplined behavior, such as arriving on time, completing tasks, cheating during exams, and not paying attention to teachers while learning. This study aims to identify effective Social Studies (IPS) teaching strategies for shaping students' character. The research focuses on (1) the role of teachers as demonstrators in developing disciplined and responsible character through IPS learning, (2) effective strategies employed by teachers to cultivate discipline and responsibility in students, and (3) potential solutions to improve the quality of IPS learning in instilling discipline and responsibility. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The findings show that (1) IPS learning in the seventh grade at SMPN 1 Ngunut is effective in instilling discipline and responsibility, (2) Teachers use teaching activities to instill values such as punctuality and task completion, (3) Through methods like group work, individual assignments, and behavioral evaluations, students show positive changes, (4) The role of teachers as facilitators and role models is crucial, (5) Collaboration between teachers and the principal creates a school culture that supports character development, and (6) The impact of this process is reflected in increased student awareness of their responsibilities. These findings highlight that IPS not only fosters cognitive knowledge but also serves as a strategic medium for continuous moral and character development.

Low motivation to learn and limited conceptual understanding are significant challenges in learning biology at the junior high school level, especially in abstract material on the classification of living things. This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of animated videos on student learning motivation and learning outcomes. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of one group pre-test and post-test was used in this study. The research sample consisted of 25 students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 2 East Likupang. Data was collected through observation sheets to assess learning motivation and pre-test and post-test tests to evaluate learning outcomes. The results of the observation showed that the average motivation of students reached 86.32% in the outstanding category. The average pre-test score of 59.57 increased to 81.09 on the post-test, indicating a significant improvement in concept comprehension. The t-test corroborates these findings with a significant value at a 95% confidence level. These results show that animated videos can present a visualization of complex concepts in an engaging and contextual way, thereby increasing students' focus, active participation, and absorption of the material. In addition, the use of this media also supports the development of students' collaborative skills and critical thinking. This research confirms that animated videos are a strategic alternative in effective science learning, especially in school environments with limitations of conventional visual media. It is suggested that the application of this media be expanded to various materials and levels of education.

Students who excel academically as well as non-academically in the classroom and at school. High achieving students are very difficult to find because there is no system that can assess student talent in the classroom. Thus, there is a need for a computer-based system that can facilitate teachers in identifying outstanding students. . The system is an application that is made, SPK using the WP method. With the application of the following method, the best option can be determined from various choices and their features through the weighing process. Thus, the results of this research can help teachers and principals at SDN Daha Walu in obtaining the highest score ranking based on the system that can be used as a reference for decision making.
