Nature-based tourism development has a strategic role in encouraging sustainable local economic growth, especially in rural areas such as Marente Village, Kabupaten Sumbawa. Agal Waterfall is one of the natural tourism destinations that has high attractiveness, but its utilization is still not optimal due to limited facilities and infrastructure, access to the location, promotional activities, and the quality of human resources management. This study aims to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and determine priority strategies in developing Agal Waterfall tourism using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) method. The research approach used is descriptive quantitative with primary data collected from 100 respondents. Analysis techniques include the preparation of IFAS, EFAS, SWOT, and QSPM matrices. The research findings show that the beauty of the natural environment and community participation are the main strengths, while the limited supporting facilities and promotion are still the dominant weaknesses. Development opportunities are supported by the increasing interest in nature tourism and the utilization of digital platforms, while threats come from competition between tourist destinations and the potential for environmental degradation. Based on the results of the analysis, priority strategies suggested include improving basic facilities, optimizing digital-based promotions, strengthening the capacity of human resource managers, and implementing the principles of sustainable tourism.

The Cultural Advancement Facilitation through Pinhole Photography as an Educational Medium for Children program aims to enhance cultural literacy, creativity, and awareness among young generations regarding the preservation of Malay Deli cultural heritage. This initiative is motivated by the declining interest of children in local history and culture amid rapid modernization, particularly in coastal areas with limited access to educational resources. Pinhole photography is employed as an educational approach due to its simplicity and reflective nature, fostering patience, accuracy, and a fundamental understanding of the interconnection between art, science, and culture. The program was conducted over three days through a series of activities, including workshops on constructing pinhole cameras, field exploration and photography at Malay Deli heritage sites namely Maimun Palace, Al- Mashun Grand Mosque, Al-Osmani Grand Mosque, and Sri Deli Park and photo developing and curation sessions. The activities actively involved children from the Rumah Edukasi Anak Pesisir community as primary participants in the visual documentation of cultural heritage. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of Malay Deli historical and cultural values, the development of creative and reflective thinking skills, and the production of children’s photographic works with potential use as educational and cultural promotion media. Overall, this program contributes to participatory-based cultural advancement and strengthens sustainable cultural tourism through an educational, creative, and sustainable approach.

The program was conducted at Joglo Gumregah from August to November 2024 using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The implementation was carried out in three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation phase included field observation, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and coordination with village authorities and community leaders. The implementation phase involved in-depth interviews and mentoring activities in developing sport tourism packages. The evaluation phase was conducted through interactive dialogues with stakeholders to refine the developed packages. This research aims to identify factors that influence tourists' interest in revisiting the Aslan Hill natural tourist attraction. The methodology used is to use a quantitative approach with data obtained from the results of questionnaires that have been distributed to the sample (research respondents) totaling 96 people. Through quantitative analysis with the help of Smart PLS software. 4, this study found that although the three independent variables (tourism facilities, price perception, and destination image) had a positive relationship with revisit intention, only price perception and destination image had a statistically significant influence. Apart from that, this research also confirms that the mediating variable is visitor satisfaction in the relationship between price perception and destination image and interest in visiting again, where satisfaction cannot mediate the influence of tourist facilities on interest in visiting again, while satisfaction can mediate the relationship between price perception and destination image on interest in visiting. return to the Aslan Hill Nature tourist attraction. The practical implication of this research is that it is important for natural tourism destination managers to not only focus on developing physical facilities, but also on efforts to build positive perceptions about the value offered and maintain consistent service quality to achieve visitor satisfaction.

The increasing development of Ciater hot spring tourism in Subang Regency has encouraged the management to build resort hotel facilities. The design of this project refers to ecotourism principles. The design area is 47,000 m 2 consisting of 23 villa units, supporting facilities and recreational facilities. This project was designed by raising three main issues, namely environmental issues, privacy, and atmosphere. These three issues are then elaborated into the main concept, namely Tranquil Coexistence of Nature and Architecture which means harmony between architecture and its environment. The beautiful scenery of the mountains of West Java and the sloping contours of the land are a reference for laying out the mass composition and zoning on the site. The arrangement of masses in the eco-resort area is made natural by avoiding angles and symmetrical geometries. The concept of an open mass and roof form adapted from Sundanese architecture is a reference for spatial planning and building masses in villa facilities and public facilities using local materials. As an effort to reduce degradation of environmental quality in Ciater, the design of the site utility was made using a water sensitive landscape design approach in which the water element will be recycled and reused on the site. The results of this eco-resort design are expected to be able to contribute to environmental preservation, increase the tourism potential of Ciater hot springs, and increase the welfare of the surrounding community in line with the increasing number of visitors who come.
