Employee attendance is an important indicator to demonstrate the discipline and performance of village employees. The process of recording employee attendance previously at the Lumban Dolok Village Office was still done manually. This can cause problems such as incorrect data, slow report collection, and absenteeism. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a web-based presence-monitoring information system that uses the Location-Based Service (LBS) method. The purpose of the LBS method is to ensure that the attendance process can be carried out only when employees are within a specified radius of the Lumban Dolok Village Office. This system uses latitude and longitude data from the user's device to calculate the geographic distance to the location's center point. The developed system uses the user's device's latitude and longitude to calculate the distance between the employee's location and the attendance center. Within a radius of 25 meters, the attendance process can only be carried out if the employee is within that radius; if they are outside the radius, then the attendance will be automatically rejected by the system. In this study, the waterfall system development method was employed, with PHP and UML. The results of the study show that this system can help the village office monitor employee attendance directly, speed up the collection of attendance reports, and reduce the risk of data manipulation. In addition, attendance reports are easily accessible by admins and village heads to assess employee performance. Thus, the web-based attendance information system using the LBS method is expected to improve compliance, transparency, and effectiveness of attendance management at the Lumban Dolok Village Office.

This study examines the phenomenon of code-mixing among Generation Z in Banjarmasin, particularly in The comments section of TikTok content, which has become a primary digital expression space for young People. The aim of this study was to identify the forms, patterns, and social and cultural factors underlying This linguistic practice. Using descriptive qualitative methods with listening and note-taking techniques, Information was collected from comments on two TikTok posts on the accounts @BudRab and @Fazarbungaz. The findings indicate that the code-mixing that occurred was dominated by the insertion Of Banjarese elements into Indonesian (Banjar-Indonesian code-mixing), as well as a mixture of Banjarese, Indonesian, and English (Outer Code-mixing and Mixed Code-mixing). The forms of code-mixing found Included the insertion of Banjarese words, phrases, and lexical items such as kd (kada), makai, and mun. An analysis of the functions of code-mixing shows that this practice has a dual role: referential (for specific Local contexts), directive (to guide conversations), emotive/expressive (to indicate emotional closeness, for Example, longitude), and most importantly, as a marker of digital identity and cultural solidarity among Banjar speakers in the digital realm. This phenomenon confirms that social media serves as a new, flexible and essential space for the Banjar language to survive and negotiate with global and national languages. This study contributes to sociolinguistics by mapping the dynamics of language evolution among Gen Z in A digital context, highlighting the creative and social aspects of code-mixing.

 The increasing use of electric vehicles in last-mile logistics distribution demands efficient and strategic charging infrastructure. This study aims to determine the optimal location for electric vehicle charging stations in Semarang City using the Set Covering Problem approach. A total of 17 last-mile distribution points operated by a logistics company were analyzed based on geographic data consisting of latitude and longitude coordinates, which were then processed into a distance matrix using the Euclidean formula. The optimization model was developed under the constraint of the electric vehicle’s maximum coverage radius and solved using binary linear programming. The analysis revealed that a single charging station located in Central Semarang is sufficient to cover all distribution points spread across the city. These findings reinforce the efficiency of the set covering approach in infrastructure planning and offer practical implications for logistics companies to optimize resources, minimize investment costs, and improve operational efficiency.

Pasar properti rumah memiliki harga yang bervariasi tergantung lokasi dan spesifikasi bangunan. Penelitian ini melakukan segmentasi harga properti berdasarkan lokasi (latitude & longitude), harga, dan luas bangunan menggunakan algoritma K-Means Clustering. Dataset berisi 18.962 data properti dari wilayah Bandung dan sekitarnya. Data melalui tahap pembersihan, transformasi lokasi ke koordinat geografis, normalisasi, dan denormalisasi untuk memastikan kualitas analisis. Metode Elbow digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah cluster optimal dan menunjukkan nilai K = 3. Proses clustering menghasilkan tiga segmen: Cluster 0 (Affordable Housing) mencakup 7.751 properti dengan harga rendah dan bangunan kecil, Cluster 1 (Luxury Estate) sebanyak 2.402 properti dengan harga tinggi dan bangunan luas, serta Cluster 2 (Middle-Class Residences) terdiri dari 5.555 properti dengan karakteristik menengah. Visualisasi menggunakan peta interaktif berbasis Folium memperlihatkan distribusi spasial yang jelas, dengan konsentrasi tertinggi berada di pusat kota seperti Bandung dan Cimahi. Rata-rata harga di cluster 0 sekitar Rp900 juta, cluster 1 mencapai Rp4,9 miliar, dan cluster 2 sekitar Rp1,8 miliar. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa K-Means efektif untuk segmentasi harga properti. Untuk hasil yang lebih komprehensif, disarankan agar penelitian lanjutan menambahkan variabel seperti aksesibilitas, fasilitas umum, dan kondisi bangunan.

Understanding of the Earth's rotation is often limited to the alternation of day and night. However, its impact is far more complex, including the formation of time zones and varying climate patterns. The objectives of this study include analyzing the Earth's rotation's influence on the formation of time differences between regions based on longitude and the relationship between the Earth's rotation and climate variations caused by atmospheric movement and global wind patterns. This study employs literature review techniques using secondary data, which involves collecting data indirectly by studying the relevant objects. The use of secondary data related to Earth's rotational movement influences time and climate is based on findings from previous research. The findings of this study reveal that the Earth's rotation causes the alternation of day and night and time differences in each region, with each 15-degree difference in longitude resulting in a one-hour time difference. In terms of climate, the Earth's rotation produces the Coriolis force, which deflects the direction of wind and ocean currents, thereby forming atmospheric circulation patterns such as the Hadley, Ferrel, and polar cells. These circulation patterns determine temperature and precipitation distribution across various regions, so the Earth's rotation directly shapes the distinct global climate characteristics of each area

The Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a maritime identification and tracking system that must be implemented on certain vessels in accordance with the regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). One of the ways to enhance maritime safety on ships is by utilizing AIS. This research aims to develop a low-cost AIS intended for use on small vessels such as fishing boats. This study utilizes hardware components such as the GPS M8N, Arduino Nano, and LoRa RA-02 module. The LoRa module is chosen for its ability to transmit data over long distances with low power consumption, making it ideal for maritime applications. The Arduino microcontroller is responsible for controlling the entire system, while the GPS M8N is highly effective in achieving accurate positioning within meter-level precision. The Arduino Nano serves as the main component for receiving and processing data from the GPS M8N and LoRa RA-02, then transmitting the data to the receiver. The methodology and system design in this research follow an experimental approach, where at least one variable is manipulated to study cause-and-effect relationships. The test results of the AIS transmitter device indicate that it can successfully transmit call sign, latitude, and longitude data, with a maximum transmission range of 15 meters on land and 13 meters at sea.

Central Papua Province is a new autonomous region province located in the Papua region. consists of 8 districts with the dominant topography of high rainfall for most of the year. As a result, the region in Central Papua often experiences hydrometeorological disasters, including floods, landslides, fallen trees, collapsed roofs. This study aims to map weather forecast infographics in Central Papua Province with QGIS and Adobe Photoshop Using the utilization model in the QGIS application which is overlaid with shapefile data from the BMKG signature of Central Papua Province. As well as shapefile data from the geospatial Indonesia website, namely the latest village and administrative boundaries 2022/2023 for the expansion of 38 provinces on a scale of 10K BIG. Then On the photoshop application helps infographic image editing. In making a map of Central Papua province with additional administrative boundaries of protected areas, tourist sites and latitude and longitude. As well as BMKG signature polygon alerts from signature.bmkg.go.id/ site. Once overlayed, it produces any area affected.

Pada era sekarang akomodasi bus masih cukup diminati karena kemudahan dalam mengaksesnya. Namun ketidakpastian waktu kedatangan bus tersebut terkadang menjadi masalah bagi calon penumpang karena seringnya tertinggal oleh bus yang ingin di tumpanginya. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut dibuatlah sebuah sistem dalam memperkirakan jarak dan waktu kedatangan bus. Dalam membangun sistem tersebut memanfaatkan modul GPS Neo-6M dan NodeMCU ESP8266 sebagai penentu titik lokasi bus. Modul GPS Neo-6M akan menerima data latitude dan longitude dari satelit navigasi yang kemudian data akan diolah NodeMCU ESP8266 dan dikirimkan ke firebase realtime database. Dalam website yang dibangun terdapat google maps API dan distance matrix service, dalam website juga terdapat titik lokasi Terminal dimana calon penumpang ingin menungu kedatangan bus. Website yang dibangun akan membaca data dari firebase realtime database dan akan menggitung hasil jarak dan perkiraan waktu kedatangan bus dengan data yang telah diperoleh dari firebase realtime database dan data dari titik terminal dimana calon penumpang ingin menunggu kedatangan bus. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan diketahui bahwa sistem yang dibuat dapat berjalan dengan baik, sistem mampu menghitung jarak dan perkiraan waktu kedatangan dari data yang ada dengan nilai rata-rata kesalahan pada pengukuran jarak sebsesar 0,9% serta sistem yang dibangun dapat menampilkan perkiraan waktu kedatangan bus.

PT Telkom Indonesia menyimpan data infrastruktur kabel dalam bentuk digital ke dalam Sistem Informasi Geografis berbasis website. Jumlah infrastruktur kabel tersebut sekitar 3.159 buah, tiap kabel direpresentasikan sebagai polyline atau kurva dengan kabel paling sederhana terdiri dari 3 titik dan yang terbesar terdiri dari 2.646 titik. Setiap titik terdiri dari koordinat latitude dan longitude. Ketika pengguna ingin mengakses atau mengelola kabel, semua data kabel harus dikirim dari server ke komputer pengguna dengan total ukuran data 16 MB. Hal ini menimbulkan masalah karena pengguna tersebar di berbagai wilayah dan berbagai kondisi jaringan. Saat pengguna berada di jaringan 3G, waktu yang diperlukan untuk menampilkan seluruh data kabel adalah sekitar 1,5 menit atau lebih, dan hal ini menyebabkan pengguna mengalami gangguan karena waktu tunggu yang tinggi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, pada penelitian ini dilakukan penerapan algoritma Ramer-Douglas-Peucker (RDP) untuk menghasilkan data kabel baru yang memiliki jumlah titik lebih sedikit daripada kabel aslinya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, algoritma RDP dengan ε sebesar 0,01 mampu menghasilkan data kabel baru dengan ukuran total 810 kB dan dapat dikirimkan dari server ke pengguna dalam waktu 5,10 detik dengan tetap mempertahankan detail lonjakan kurva.
