The aspect of labor in the context of global citizenship is not only about how the lives of workers and laborers are guaranteed wages and work systems, but human rights actions are one of the most crucial issues. One of them is the action that happened to Tuti Trisilawati in 2018. The action of the death penalty is considered as an action that does not benefit Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Through this research, which is packaged exploratively and collected through case studies and trusted agency literature, the results show that there are differences between the ideologies of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia which result in these actions resulting in a high record of death penalty cases, so that massive diplomacy between the two countries is followed by improving a fair criminal law system or fair trial so that no rights are threatened. Keywords: global citizenship, death penalty, labor.

Child exploitation is a serious violation of human rights that involves children as victims. In Indonesia, such cases frequently occur due to severe economic pressure, lack of education, weak social supervision, and inadequate law enforcement. Children are often used as laborers or sources of income, either directly in the informal sector or through digital media. This study aims to examine how the juvenile criminal justice system in Indonesia addresses cases of child exploitation and to evaluate the effectiveness of legal protection for child victims. The research employs a normative juridical approach by referring to statutory regulations and relevant legal concepts. Data were collected from various primary legal sources, including the Child Protection Law and the Juvenile Criminal Justice System Law. The findings indicate that although legal regulations are relatively clear and firm, their implementation in practice remains problematic. Coordination among institutions is not yet effective, social rehabilitation for victims is insufficient, and public awareness regarding children’s rights remains low. Law enforcement also has not fully prioritized the restorative justice approach, which emphasizes victim recovery and active community involvement. Therefore, stronger and more integrated legal policies, improved law enforcement capacity, and the empowerment of families and communities are required to ensure sustainable child protection.

This study aims to describe the ethnomathematics activities carried out by corn farmers in Tegal Arum Village. The approach used is qualitative with an ethnographic method, with data collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation from two farmers who are knowledgeable in traditional corn farming practices. The main focus of this study is to identify the application of basic mathematical concepts, such as counting, measuring, and calculating, in their daily farming activities. The results show that the farmers in Tegal Arum Village apply mathematics in a contextual form, derived from experiences and practices passed down through generations. For example, they calculate the seed requirements, estimate the number of laborers and planting time, and measure the harvest using local units like sacks and handfuls. These activities reflect the relevant application of ethnomathematics, which can be integrated into contextual mathematics learning in schools. The findings indicate that mathematics is not only taught in a formal setting in schools but also naturally develops in the community's daily life, especially through farming activities. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to serve as a reference in the development of a local culture-based curriculum that connects mathematics learning to real-life contexts.

The bankruptcy of a major company like PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (Sritex) not only reflects a financial crisis but also opens a significant debate about legal fairness for stakeholders, particularly laborers and company owners. This research examines the impact of the bankruptcy on the fulfillment of laborers' normative rights and the legal protection afforded to company owners. Using a juridical-normative approach and a case study method, the findings reveal that the bankruptcy process still presents imbalances in legal protection, especially for laborers who, despite being legally recognized as preferential creditors, are often disregarded in practice. This article recommends regulatory reform and strengthening the state's role in ensuring justice throughout the bankruptcy proceedings.

The #KaburAjaDulu phenomenon illustrates a significant increase in the migration of young Indonesian laborers abroad in 2024–2025. This study employs a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods to examine the social and economic factors driving migration, including domestic economic instability, low minimum wages, and unfavorable socio-political conditions. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and online surveys, then analyzed thematically and used descriptive statistics. The findings reveal that, in addition to economic factors, narratives of diaspora success and access to international opportunities also accelerate migration decisions. This phenomenon has dual implications: the potential for brain drain along with significant remittance contributions to the national economy. The study emphasizes the need for integrated policies to enhance employment opportunities and improve domestic socio-economic conditions to reduce the rate of young labor migration.

Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is an effort to provide safety guarantees and improve the health status of workers/laborers by preventing work-related accidents and diseases, controlling  workplace hazards,  health  promotion, treatment and  rehabilitation. Occupational Health and Safety efforts include workforce, work methods/methods, work tools, work processes and work environment. In the PTM room at the West Baktiya Health Center, the space is quite narrow due to the large number of patients visiting, so there is untidiness in the room even though the AC and windows are used. However, having 2 tables in the room makes the room increasingly narrow and difficult to work comfortably. This research aims to find out an overview of the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health in the PTM room. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a case study design. The subjects of this research were 3 officers in the PTM room. The object of this research is the implementation of K3 and PTM rooms at the West Baktiya Community Health Center. Data was collected by participant observation and semi-structured interviews with informants. The risk factors for the PTM room at the West Baktiya Health Center, seen from occupational safety and health factors, are that it is quite clean, no animals were found that cause disease transmission such as cockroaches, rats and others. There are no occupational safety and health signs and standard operational procedures related to occupational safety and health, while fire prevention in the PTM room at the West Baktiya Public Health Center and the West Baktiya Community Health Center itself is quite good with APAR. There needs to be signs regarding occupational safety and health and SOPs regarding occupational safety and health, especially in the PTM room.

Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of the main challenges in the health sector in Indonesia, with a fairly high number of cases each year. This study aims to analyze the distribution of TB cases based on occupation and identify community groups that are at higher risk of spreading this disease. The data used in this study were obtained from estimates of the 2022 TB epidemiology report. The results of the analysis show that informal workers, such as laborers and traders, are the group with the highest number of TB cases, at 36.0%. This is followed by formal workers (21.6%), farmers/fishermen (17.3%), housewives (14.4%), students (6.5%), and unemployed or retired groups (4.2%). The high prevalence of TB in informal workers is caused by several factors, including an unhygienic work environment, limited access to health services, and unhealthy lifestyles. Based on these findings, a more effective strategy is needed in efforts to prevent and control TB, especially for groups with high levels of vulnerability. Health education, increasing access to health services, improving work environment sanitation, and early detection programs are important steps in reducing the spread of TB. With the right intervention, it is hoped that the number of TB cases in Indonesia can be reduced significantly.

Despite laws prohibiting it, child labor is a significant problem in Indonesia. The root causes of child labor include poverty, lack of public awareness, and ineffective law enforcement. The purpose of this study was to measure the legal understanding of group XI students at SMAN 4 Pasuruan on the issue of child labor. Through a questionnaire given to students, a quantitative descriptive technique was used. The findings of the analysis showed the validity of each questionnaire item and the normal distribution of the remaining data. With a coefficient of determination of 0.554, the regression findings showed a substantial correlation between students' legal knowledge and the decline in child labor, although there was heteroscedasticity. Thus, increasing students' legal knowledge can help reduce the number of child laborers. According to this study, it is important to include legal materials related to child protection into the curriculum and conduct socialization activities to improve students' legal knowledge so that they can actively contribute to the prevention of child labor in the future.
