Building fires can significantly degrade the strength and integrity of steel structures, so post-incident evaluation is crucial to ensure building safety and feasibility. This study aims to evaluate the condition of the steel tower structure after the fire through a visual inspection method. A total of 35 structural elements were examined, including columns, beams, and bracing, to identify damage caused by heat exposure. The inspection results showed that 6 elements (17%) were in the category of Acceptable, 8 elements (23%) Needs Attention, 5 elements (14%) Not Acceptable, and 1 element (3%) Not Applicable because they had been removed. Steel columns generally remain upright without deformation, but suffer damage to the protective layer (coating). In contrast, most blocks lose their protective layers, are directly exposed to fire, show early signs of corrosion, and some suffer severe damage such as flange tears and cuts. These findings confirm the importance of systematic documentation and classification of element conditions as the basis for technical decision-making for structural improvement. Visual inspection proved effective as an initial step in the evaluation process, providing a relevant initial picture of the extent of damage and the need for intervention. This study recommends follow-up in the form of advanced structural analysis and material testing to ensure the feasibility of reusing the affected steel elements.

The background of this research is the low level of employee performance in the Civil Service Police Unit and the Sikka Regency Fire Department. This research aims to: (1) determine the description of employee performance, leadership and work loyalty; (2) analyze the influence of Leadership and Work Loyalty on employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study were employees of the Sikka Regency Civil Service Police Unit and Fire Department, totaling 94 people. Because the population is limited, this research was conducted by census or saturated sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive methods and inferential statistics, namely multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing is carried out through the F test and t test. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the background to the employee performance variable is in good criteria, the Leadership variable is in good criteria, then the Work Loyalty variable is in good criteria. The statistical results of the t test show that partially the Leadership variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the Work Loyalty variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The statistical results of the F test show that simultaneously the Leadership and Work Loyalty variables have a significant effect on employee performance. The results of the determination analysis show that the two independent variables in this study are able to explain variations in the ups and downs in performance of employees at the Civil Service Police Unit and the Sikka Regency Fire Department by 31%.

This research attempts to elaborate on the analysis and implementation of the Riau Provincial Government's policy on forests, using the case study of Governor Regulation Number 11 of 2014 concerning the Forest and Land Fire Control Center. The purpose of this research is to understand the content of the Riau Provincial Government's policy through Governor Regulation Number 11 of 2014 on the Forest and Land Fire Control Center and to analyze the Riau Governor Regulation of 2014 concerning the Forest and Land Fire Control Center. To analyze this study, the data used in this research are sourced from books, archives, documents, the internet, and interviews. The analytical method applied in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, which involves creating, describing, and summarizing various conditions with the variables emerging from the research object and revealing facts through data collection, which are then studied, processed, analyzed, and interpreted to be presented descriptively. The theories used in this research include public policy, environmental politics, and development politics theories.

Effective network management is the main need in the world of information technology, especially for companies engaged in network infrastructure. One of the devices that is often used to support network connectivity is MikroTik. This journal aims to design MikroTik configuration learning based on the OSI Layer Model at PT Proxi Jaringan Nusantara, focusing on setting MikroTik so that it can be connected to the internet. The learning method is designed using theoretical and simulation approaches, including the introduction of the OSI Layer Model as the basis of network communication and the technical steps of MikroTik configuration, such as IP Address settings, NAT (Network Address Translation), DHCP Server, and basic Firewall. The simulation results show that the configuration carried out in accordance with the OSI Layer Model can improve network stability and efficiency. This learning is designed to provide practical and in-depth solutions for authors in understanding MicroTik-based network management.

 Central Java was recorded as the area with the highest fire rate in the period from January 1 to July 24 2023, with 637 cases recorded. In 2018, a fire hit Agustinus Junior High School, at Semarang City. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of implementing a fire disaster preparedness simulation in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of Agustinus Middle School residents regarding fire disasters. The research design used was a quasi experiment with a quantitative approach. This research used a one group pretest-posttest design. In this research design, the entire population is used as research respondents. The pretest was given before the fire disaster simulation activity began and the posttest was given after all respondents carried out the fire disaster simulation activity. The research instrument used a questionnaire sheet. Data were analyzed with wilcoxon test. The results of the research show that there is an effect of implementing a fire disaster preparedness simulation on the knowledge and attitudes of Agustinius Junior High School residents with a wilcoxon p value of 0.000 and there is an increase in the knowledge of the school community by 24.3% and the attitude of the school community by 34% compared to before the simulation. This research suggests that schools should hold regular disaster preparedness simulations at least once a year and collaborate with related professional institutions to increase the capability and effectiveness of school emergency response teams in handling emergency situations.

The problem related to violation of RTRW is actually a common issue until now. Like the recent case, namely the fire that occurred at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot. The fire incident could actually be prevented by implementing proper spatial planning regulations. Based on the Regional Regulation (Perda) of DKI Jakarta Number 1 of 2012 concerning the 2030 Regional Spatial Planning, fuel oil (BBM) depots are required to have a buffer zone. Unfortunately, at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot, this buffer zone does not exist, so that residential areas are too close to the dangerous depot area. The purpose of this study is to find out the Annotation of the State Administrative Court Decision Number: 124 / G / LH / 2016 / PTUN-BDG. This research method uses a qualitative approach, with a special method applied, namely meta-analysis. Meta-analysis is a research technique used to combine findings from previous studies related to the same research topic. In its decision, the PTUN granted the lawsuit in its entirety.

The application of the law to the crime of ATM skimming is regulated in Article 362 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) regarding the crime of theft. This research is a type of normative judicial research supported by a normative approach by using primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials as data sources. This study uses a prescriptive method, which is an analysis method that provides an assessment (justification) about the object being researched whether it is true or false, or what should be according to the law. The results of the study show that (1) Skimming is a magnetic stripe crime that exists on ATM cards illegally to have control over the card or the account by duplicating the ATM card or by installing a hidden camera to find out the ATM PIN of the customer or victim. (2) Strategies to prevent unauthorized access and early detection of suspicious activities can be applied to reduce the incidence of criminal acts and effective cyber security is to strengthen the network and security system. This can include investing in cutting-edge security technologies, such as robust firewalls, active network monitoring, and security programs that can detect suspicious attacks. In addition, organizations also need to involve their employees in cybersecurity efforts.    

As a popular platform, Windows faces increasingly complex and diverse malware threats. This research evaluates Windows security weaknesses and finds effective methods of mitigating malware attacks. To ensure the validity of the results, the analysis was conducted through literature review, protection method evaluation, and data triangulation. The results show that layered protection methods, which include implementing firewalls, antivirus, and regular system updates, are highly effective in combating different types of malware, such as ransomware, trojans, and spyware. In addition, the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence helps detect threats in real-time. This research provides practical advice for developers and users on how to improve Windows security through a combination of proactive and reactive measures. It also suggests that users be more aware of cybersecurity. The results of this research are expected to serve as a reference for the development of more secure operating systems in the future.

Pertamini or mini gas station is a retail business of fuel oil such as pertalit and pertramak carried out by the community. The absence of strict regulations regarding safety has caused many fire incidents involving it. ALOHA modeling is a tool for analyzing fire risks and their impacts, so that it can be a consideration of vigilance for perpetrators and the surrounding community. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of fires and explosions at the Dukuh Pertamini gas station in 2024. This study is a quantitative descriptive study using ALOHA software. The results of the study showed that the storage tank could create a fire pool with a diameter of 10 meters. If this happens, a flash fire can occur up to a distance of 60 meters, the heat of which can be felt up to 150 meters from the center of the explosion.

Abstract: This study explores the communication patterns used by the Fire and Rescue Department of Bekasi City in disseminating fire disaster mitigation education at SMK Vinama 2 Bekasi. The research investigates how disaster communication is implemented through socialization programs aimed at increasing students’ awareness and preparedness toward fire hazards. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation with key informants, including officials from the Prevention Division, school representatives, and student participants. The findings reveal that the department adopts a multi-layered communication model integrating one-way, two-way, and multi-way approaches to effectively convey safety messages. The process involves formal coordination, practical demonstrations, and participatory simulations, contributing to improved literacy and proactive attitudes among students. This study highlights the essential role of structured communication patterns in enhancing disaster preparedness and proposes recommendations for strengthening participatory engagement in future educational programs.

Earthquakes are one of the most common and potentially devastating natural disasters, especially in countries located along fault lines. Indonesia, which is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire, often experiences earthquakes. Simulations can improve children's disaster preparedness, provide self-confidence, and foster a sense of responsibility. Community service activities were carried out at MTsN Sumba Timur on September 7, 2024 starting at 08.00 -10.00 WITA. The name of the community empowerment program is Earthquake Disaster Preparedness Education and Simulation for MTsN Sumba Timur Students as a form of community service in the East Sumba NTT region, by providing education and understanding of the dangers of earthquakes and how to prevent accidents due to earthquakes, as well as providing simulations to maximize participants' knowledge. The first stage is a pre-test on disaster mitigation. This aims to determine students' initial understanding of earthquake disaster mitigation. There are eight Guttman scale questions containing "yes" and "no" answer choices with one correct answer. Next is the presentation of material on earthquake disaster mitigation supported by the use of power points and animated videos. The material provided is in the form of a disaster preparedness plan that includes an introduction to the types of earthquakes, the impact of earthquakes, what happens when an earthquake occurs, and the stages of efforts to increase preparedness before an earthquake occurs, when an earthquake occurs. and after an earthquake occurs. Community service activities through Earthquake Disaster Preparedness Education and Simulation for MTsN Sumba Timur Students were carried out well and effectively. The suggestions that can be conveyed are 1. Activities like this should be carried out periodically in different locations but are prone to disasters so that Disaster Preparedness efforts can be felt by the community fairly and evenly. 2. Partnerships with other sciences and sectors so that Disaster Preparedness efforts can be evenly distributed in all aspects of community life towards optimal public health.

The unwise use of electrical energy in households can lead to energy wastage and pose risks such as short circuits, which may result in fires. This research developed a Node-Red-based protection system using an ESP8266 microcontroller and a PZEM 004-T sensor to detect voltage, current, and power in real-time. The system automatically disconnects the current when overload conditions are detected, especially on extension cables. Testing was conducted on household devices such as laptop chargers, fans, and soldering irons. Results demonstrate that the system can accurately monitor current and power, maintain electrical stability, and cut off electricity when the load exceeds the safe threshold, thus reducing fire risk. This implementation is expected to enhance household electrical safety and serve as a reference for further development in IoT-based protection systems.

Film is a persuasive type of mass media. movies can greatly affect people's perception of the storyline and the message contained in the film. One of the problems in society is suicide. Suicide is a serious issue that can have a negative impact on a person's mental health. Films have a significant role in shaping adolescents ' perceptions of various issues, including suicide attempts. However, there is still a lack of understanding about teenagers ' perception of suicide scenes in films. Therefore, this study will fill this knowledge gap by analyzing adolescents ' perceptions of suicide scenes in the movie "Fireworks”. This study aims to describe adolescents ' perception of suicide attempts in fireworks films. This study uses qualitative research methods by using perceptual analysis. This method views the message Maker creates a message in such a way with a certain meaning that is expected to be accepted by the audience. The results showed that there are differences in perception between informants with each other. Audiences conduct negotiations based on their knowledge and experience. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concluded that the aspects presented in this study do not completely agree. the meaning of each informant moves by itself from one position to another. Such interpretations come from knowledge, experience gained from their environment.    

Indonesia is a country that faces a high risk of multiple disasters, one of which is fire disasters that can be prevented by the community through preparedness and early detection. The community service program, implemented by a team of lecturers and students from the Disaster Management Study Program at Budi Luhur University in collaboration with the Tanjungpinang SAR Office, conducted a basic fire extinguishing training session at SMAN 2 Tanjungpinang. The target audience for this training was students involved in the Scout, Paskibraka, and PKS (School Security Patrol) extracurricular activities, aimed at increasing student preparedness for fire emergencies. The activities included both theoretical materials and practical exercises on extinguishing fires and techniques for victim evacuation. The evaluation results showed an increase in participants' knowledge, particularly regarding the basic concepts of fire and victim movement, with understanding levels ranging from 45% to 100%, depending on the material. Although the results were positive, areas such as the type of fire extinguisher material and victim transfer techniques require further emphasis. This collaboration between educational institutions and disaster response agencies has proven effective in building student awareness to deal with emergency situations. Recommendations for future training include adopting a more interactive approach and incorporating intensive simulations to enhance students' understanding and readiness to face disaster.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis deiksis yang digunakan dan menemukan jenis-jenis deiksis yang dominan terdapat dalam lirik lagu tersebut.
