This study aimed to determine the relationship between shyness and social anxiety in new students in the Faculty of Psychology at Satya Wacana Christian University (UKSW). The method used was quantitative, using a simple random sampling technique involving 99 subjects. This study measured shyness and social anxiety using two instruments: the RCBS 13 for shyness and the SAS-A for social anxiety. The collected data were then analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment statistical method to determine the relationship between the two variables. The results showed no significant relationship between shyness and social anxiety in new students, with a correlation (R) of 0.86 and a significance level of 0.398 (P > 0.05). This indicates that high levels of shyness in new students do not directly correlate with their levels of social anxiety. This means that higher levels of shyness do not necessarily lead to increased levels of social anxiety. This finding contradicts several previous studies that suggested a positive relationship between shyness and social anxiety. This study provides new insights into the psychological dynamics experienced by new students, particularly in the UKSW Faculty of Psychology, which should be considered in developing orientation programs or mental health support for new students. Furthermore, these findings also open up opportunities for further research that could explore other factors influencing the relationship between shyness and social anxiety.

This study examines the implementation of Agile Governance in the development of the Integrity Zone at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau. The study is motivated by the need for adaptive, responsive, and participatory governance to support bureaucratic reform and improve public service quality in higher education institutions. Despite ongoing efforts, the development of the Integrity Zone still faces challenges, including limited human resources, budget and facility constraints, inefficient administrative systems, and suboptimal digital service integration. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving faculty leaders, the Integrity Zone team, educational staff, students, and alumni. The findings show that Agile Governance has been implemented through six indicators: good enough governance, business-driven, human-focused, quick wins, systematic and adaptive approach, and simple design and continuous refinement. Its implementation is reflected in administrative service digitalization, WhatsApp helpdesk services, consultation corners, the Complaint, Assistance, and Health Support Unit (P2K), service satisfaction surveys, integrity culture strengthening, and simplified service procedures. However, implementation remains uneven due to limited resources, inadequate digital integration, and organizational culture challenges. The study recommends strengthening digital service integration, enhancing human resource capacity, applying data-based service evaluations, and improving coordination and organizational culture to ensure sustainable and effective Integrity Zone development.

This study examines the effect of the Independent Internship Program on the work readiness of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Boyolali, class of 2022. The high unemployment rate among university graduates indicates a mismatch between academic competencies and labor market demands. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving students who participated in the internship program. The results indicate that the Independent Internship Program plays an important role in improving students’ work readiness, particularly in terms of work skills, professional attitudes, and self-confidence. However, the effectiveness of the program is highly influenced by the quality of supervision, relevance of internship placement, and active student participation. These findings imply that universities need to strengthen the quality-oriented management of internship programs to better prepare graduates for the labor market.
