Along with the growing public awareness of personal and environmental health, lipa sabbe products with natural colors are increasingly popular. Natural dyes are advantageous because they do not need to be imported, are safe for human health during the manufacturing process, do not pollute the environment, and are safe. Although synthetic dyes are easier to use, they are harmful to health, produce hazardous waste, pollute the environment, and are made from imported materials. This study aims to determine the types of plants that can be used as natural dyes for lipa sabbe. Qualitative methods with literature studies sourced from journals, books, or other related scientific articles are used in this research. The results showed that natural dyes in lipa sabbe became one of the Science Learning Resources with natural dyes including extracts from cocoa shell waste, coconut fiber waste, oil palm shell waste, rambutan peel waste, mangosteen peel waste, guava leaf waste, mango leaf waste and avocado leaf waste is plantation waste that can be used as a natural lipa sabbe dye. The pigments in this material produce yellow, reddish brown, gray, and black colors.   Keywords: , ,.

Streptococcus mutans naturally occurs in the human oral cavity, is a microorganism that plays an important role in the initiation of dental caries. One of the efforts to prevent dental caries is the use of natural ingredients that contain antibacterial substances that can interfere with the growth or kill bacteria. Nutmeg is a natural ingredient that has antibacterial properties. Bioactive compounds in nutmeg seeds have antibacterial properties. This research aimed to determine the formulation and concentration of nutmeg seed extract which has antibacterial activity against Streptococcus mutans. The type of research used is a laboratory experiment with a post test only group design. The treatment group used purified extract of nutmeg seeds with concentrations of 25%, 20%, 15%, 10%, 7.5%, 5.0%, 2.5%, 1.25%, the positive control group used mouthwash I, T and L. The test was carried out three repetitions at each concentration, then the inhibition zone was measured using the well diffusion method. Antibacterial activity testing was carried out using the well method, the data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, the Levene test, the one way annova test and the PST hock test. Obtained the average inhibition of nutmeg seeds against Streptococcus mutans at a concentration of 25% (18.33 mm). 20% concentration (17.16 mm), 15% concentration (16.16 mm), 10% concentration (14.66 mm), 7.5% concentration (13.33 mm), 5% concentration (6.66 mm ), the concentration of 2.5% (2.6 mm) and the smallest concentration of 1.25% had no inhibition (0 mm), while in the control group I (4 mm), T (3 mm) and L (2 mm). The higher the concentration of purified extract of nutmeg seeds, the higher the antibacterial activity against Streptococcus mutans. further research on the concentration of nutmeg seed extract preparations was carried out in vivo tests on experimental animals in order to obtain purified extract preparations of nutmeg seeds that are safe and can be an alternative choice in maintaining oral health.

This research was carried out at the Laboratory of the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty of the 1945 NTT Teachers' Association University from July to September 2022. With the aim of 1) to determine the effect of papaya leaf extract (Carica papaya) on the death of house flies (Musca domestica). 2) to determine the effectiveness of papaya leaf extract (Carica papaya) against the death of house flies (Musca domestica). The design used in this research was an experimental method for each papaya leaf extract concentration of 1%, 2% and 3% carried out 3 times. . The aim of the experiment was to provide accurate data on the death of house flies (Musca domestica) where the death of house flies that occurred in the study was due to the administration of papaya leaf extract. The results of the research showed that papaya leaf extract could kill house flies. This proves that papaya leaf extract is effective against the death of house flies. The appropriate concentration of papaya leaf extract for the death of houseflies from the tests that have been carried out is at a concentration of 1%, the lowest range and the highest range is 3%.

Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a degenerative disease caused by damage to the pancreas in production or insulin cannot work effectively. Purslane Leaf Extract (Portulaca Oleracea) can help lower blood sugar levels. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of purslane leaf extract (Portulaca Oleracea) on blood sugar levels in alloxan-induced rats as a diabetes model.Methods: The rats in this study were 30 rats divided into 5 groups, each group consisting of 6 rats. The negative control group was only given aquadest and standard rat feed, while the other group was induced with 35 mg/200gBW of alloxan. The positive group was treated with standard rat diet, treatment group 1 was given purslane leaf extract at a dose of 60 mg/200grBB, treatment group 2 was given purslane leaf extract at a dose of 90 mg/200grBB and treatment group 3 was given purslane leaf extract at a dose of 110 mg/200grBW rats. Analysis of the results used the Kruskall Wallis test followed by Post Hoc Mann Whitney analysis. Results: The results of the Kruskal Wallis test on blood sugar levels showed that there was an effect after administration of purslane leaf extract among the five treatment groups p= 0.000 (p<0.05). The results of the Mann Whitney test showed that purslane leaf extract had effective antidiabetic at a dose 60 mg/200grBB p= 0.011 (p<0.05).Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that purslane leaf extract can reduce blood sugar levels.

Hyperemesis Gravidarum is vomiting that occurs until 20 weeks of gestation. Vomiting occurs so intense that everything that is eaten and drunk is vomited up, affecting the general condition of the mother. The management of mild hyperemesis gravidarum is very important, namely by giving ginger extract drink. Giving ginger drink for 1 week with the rule of drinking a third of a teaspoon of powdered ginger extract brewed using warm water and drunk three times per day. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of drinking ginger extract on mild Hyperemesis Gravidarum in pregnant women. This outreach method is by providing an explanation to the community before the intervention in the form of ginger extract drinks and after the experiment in the form of giving ginger extract drinks. The number of samples in this study were 15 respondents who were pregnant women with mild hyperemesis gravidarum in Manyampa Hamlet. The leaflets were used. Furthermore, From the results of this counseling, it is hoped that the general public, especially health workers, can socialize the use of ginger extract drinks for pregnant women with Mild Hyperemesis Gravidarum. The target of this counseling is to reduce nausea and vomiting in pregnant women, especially pregnant women who experience nausea and vomiting in order to improve the quality and quality of services for pregnant women.

Pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata) is an important vegetable because of its nutritional value and health benefits. This plant is a rich source of carotenoids, which are rich in water-soluble vitamins, phenolics, flavonoid polysaccharides, mineral salts, and vitamins, all of which are beneficial for health. Pumpkin fruit has a very thick and hard skin, so it can act as a barrier to the rate of respiration, the release of water through the evaporation process, and the entry of air that causes the oxidation process. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of pumpkin seed extract (curcubita moschata). ) against the inhibition of staphylococcus aureus bacteria by well diffusion method. This type of research is a true experimental laboratory using the well diffusion method. The ethanol extract of pumpkin seeds (curcubita moschata) which was tested using the well method was then divided into several concentrations including 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%. On the NA media that has been made then smeared with Staphylococcus aureus bacteria which had been previously sterilized, then four wells were made in a petri dish after which pumpkin seed extract was added to each concentration. Chloramphenicol was used as a positive control as a positive control. It was then incubated at 37o for 24 hours, then the inhibition zone formed was then measured. The result of this research is pumpkin seed extract (curcubita moschata) has antibacterial activity in the presence of inhibition around the wells of each extract concentration. At a concentration of 10% extract with an inhibitory diameter of 19 mm, a concentration of 15% in an inhibitory diameter of 20 mm, a concentration of 20% in an inhibitory diameter of 21 mm and for a concentration of 15% with an inhibitory diameter of 24 mm, it can be concluded that the extract of pumpkin seeds (curcubita) moschata.) has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus.

The rise of disease outbreaks caused by microorganisms such as SARS, bird flu, HIV and COVID-19 has made people use products that contain antiseptics such as soap and hand sanitizer. However, if used continuously it will dissolve the layer of fat and sebum on the skin so that the skin becomes sensitive, dry, and irritated. The development of antiseptic products can be done with natural ingredients such as green betel leaf extract (Piper betle L). It is known that green betel leaf (Piper betle L) has long been used in traditional medicine and can be a natural antiseptic ingredient for making hand sanitizer. This study aims to determine the formulation of hand sanitizer from betel leaf extract (Piper betle L) accompanied by a physical stability test. The materials used in this study were methyl paraben, triethanolamine (TEA), glycerin, aquadest, 95% ethanol, lime juice, green betel leaf extract obtained from the reflux extraction process. The research was conducted by varying the betel leaf extract 55%, 60%, 65%, 70%, 75%. Tests were carried out by covering organoleptic observations (shape, color, odor), pH, homogeneity, dispersion.

Skincare are very important for facial care. There are various skin problems one of which is premature aging and dull skin. The perpose of the writer is to know and explain the process making mangosteen skin serum and white rice as anti-aging and brightening, to find out and explain the benefits of mangosteen skin and white rice as anti-aging and brightening and to explain the public acceptance of the mangosteen skin serum and the white rice as anti-aging and brightening. the methoud used is observation, documentation, experiment, interview, questionares and literature. The third experiment produced the composition are 2ml glyserin, 1,5ml mangosteen extract, 1,5ml white rice extract, 5ml aquades, 0,5ml phenoxythanol, 1gr allantoin and 0,5g hydroxtethyl cellulose. Gives off the color beige, nice smell, thick texture and a moist application. After 14 times use, the face will feel moist, bright and fine line and wrikles on the faces are camouflaged. Based on public trials, the average output of 30 panels is the third product with an average of 3,43. The second product has an average of 3,26 and the first product hasan average of 2,93. Thus, it can be concluded that products could be the innovation of problems of premature aging and dull skin

Soursop leaves contain steroid or terpenoid compounds, flavonoids, coumarins, alkaloids, and tannins. The flavonoid compounds in soursop leaves work as antioxidants. The purpose of this study was to find out how to make Peel Off face masks from soursop leaves, to find out the benefits of Peel Off facial masks from soursop leaves on facial skin calls, to determine public acceptance of Peel Off facial masks products from soursop leaves to reduce acne. The researcher used the observation method, the interview method, the experimental method, the documentation method, the R&D method, and the questionnaire method. Peel Off mask product from soursop leaves has a composition of soursop leaf extract 3gr, Natrosol 5gr, Propylene Glycol 6ml, Propyl paraben 1gr, Methyl paraben 1gr, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate 2gr, distilled water 6ml distilled water, 9ml polyvinyl alcohol. From the results of public trials to the public, the products made are effective in reducing whitehead acne, acne in the T zone, acne papules, acne fulminans, acne menchanica, and can brighten the face. The results of the calculation of public acceptance of the Peel Off facial mask product from soursop leaves of the fifth experiment have an average color result of 3.5. Thickness 3.5. Texture 3.6. Scent 3.4. Side effects 3.5. This Peel Off face mask from soursop leaves is suitable for use on the face because it contains antibacterial and antioxidant properties that are very effective in reducing acne.

The tapak dara plant is known as an ornamental plant that is efficacious for relieving muscle pain , antidepressant , medicine for various diseases ( ie relieving swelling caused by wasp stings , nosebleeds and sore throats ), antidote , antibacterial , and lowering blood pressure in humans . Purpose of   Research of this is to identify the content of the chemical from the leaves of tread virgin ( Catharantus roseus ), which serves as an antibacterial and to test the activity of antibacterial extract ethanol leaves tread virgin ( Catharantus roseus ) against the growth of bacteria Staphylococcus aureus by using the method of diffusion in order. Method which are used in research this is experimental by using the method of diffusion in order. This study used concentrations of 5%, 20%, 60%, and 80%. Positive control (+) chloramphenicol antibiotic , negative control (-) aquadest . Results of the study is the extract of leaves of Tread Dara ( Catharantus roseus ) can inhibit the growth of bacteria in a concentration of 80% by having an average zone of inhibition of which is 21 mm including the category is very strong and the concentration of 60% at 20 mm.

Fragrant pandanus is a type of monocot plant from the pandanaceae family. Fragrant pandan leaves have various ingredients and can be used as antibacterial ingredients and are safe to use, which have been known empirically by the Indonesian people. There are many benefits to the fragrant pandan leaf plant (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb), namely as an analgesic (toothache medicine) and antibacterial. The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical content, formulation and stability test in mouthwash preparations. In this study, the maceration method is used which is used to filter simplicia containing chemical components that are easily soluble in liquid. The results of this study indicate that in the phytochemical screening test there are chemical compounds which include flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, and tannins, which are thought to have contributed to bacterial activity. Research has also been carried out on the formulation and stability test of mouthwash preparations from the ethanol extract of pandan fragrant  leaves  (Pandanus  amaryllifolius roxb)  where  the  results  show  that  the  formulation  can  be  used  as mouthwash of fragrant pandan leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) with different concentrations in formulation I. as much as 15.5%, in formulation II as much as 16.5%, and in formulation III 17.5%. And the physical quality test of the mouthwash includes an organoleptic test which has a distinctive smell of fragrant pandan leaves and menthol and the pH test has a stable pH of 5. The results obtained basically produce mouthwash with good physical quality.
