Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils derived from natural materials to improve physical and psychological well-being. One of the most popular aromatherapy products is the aromatherapy candle, which provides relaxation while creating a comfortable atmosphere. This study aimed to develop aromatherapy candles based on agarwood (Aquilaria malaccensis) leaf extract, evaluate product quality, analyze public acceptance, and identify their potential as an entrepreneurial opportunity. This study employed an experimental method with a descriptive approach. The research stages included the extraction of agarwood leaves through a distillation process, the formulation of aromatherapy candles, product validation by three experts using sensory evaluation, and a public acceptance test involving 40 respondents using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results showed that the third experiment produced the best extract characteristics, including a golden-yellow color, a stronger distinctive agarwood aroma, and an oily texture. The public acceptance test indicated that the average scores for color, texture, ease of use, and aroma were 3.16, 2.90, 3.42, and 3.02, respectively, which were categorized as good to very good. These findings demonstrate that agarwood leaf extract has the potential to be used as an alternative ingredient in the production of aromatherapy candles, in addition to receiving a high level of public acceptance, the product possesses economic value and can be developed as an innovative product and entrepreneurial opportunity in the beauty, spa, wellness, and creative industries.

This study addresses low student engagement and high levels of boredom in entrepreneurship courses that rely heavily on one-way PowerPoint-based lectures. Preliminary observations in-dicated that 80% of students experienced low motivation and difficulty generating innovative business ideas. The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of gamification on student learning motivation and business creativity.A quantitative approach was employed using a pre-experimental (One-Group Pretest–Posttest design). The sample consisted of 25 students selected through total sampling. Gamification elements, including: points, badges, and leaderboards, were integrated into the learning process to replace conventional lecture methods. The findings indicate that the implementation of gamification significantly trans-formed student learning behavior and classroom dynamics. Students shifted from passive disengagement, characterized by limited interaction and high distraction levels, to proactive participation. Verbal interactions increased substantially, moving beyond administrative ques-tions toward meaningful business discussions. Students demonstrated heightened engagement and responsiveness during learning activities. The gamified learning environment also fostered a safe space for creative experimentation, enabling students to take entrepreneurial risks without fear of academic or financial failure. Improvements were observed across key di-mensions of business creativity, including fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The study concludes that gamification is an effective pedagogical strategy for enhancing student motivation and business creativity in entrepreneurship education. By transforming learning from a passive knowledge-transfer model into an experiential and interactive process, gami-fication supports the development of an entrepreneurial mindset among digital native students.

The world of education must actively participate in preparing a creative, innovative, and competitive generation in response to advances in technology and science. Schools, as formal educational institutions, have a great responsibility to improve students' entrepreneurial skills by adding innovative product development theory to the learning process. Amidst increasingly fierce competition, product innovation is essential to create added value and maintain the sustainability of managed businesses. Entrepreneurship also plays an important role in driving social change and economic growth. Students are also encouraged to learn to be more creative, take initiative, and dare to take risks if they are given the facilities to develop their entrepreneurial spirit at school. Practical learning, training in innovative product creation, and business management simulations help students understand and apply entrepreneurial principles efficiently. Schools are expected to be a sustainable place for developing students' entrepreneurial character through targeted outreach and instruction. This method not only improves students' knowledge and skills, but also builds independence and innovation, which can help students prepare for the world of work, business, and industry. The goal is to foster an entrepreneurial culture focused on developing personal potential, thereby producing independent, adaptive, highly competitive graduates who are ready to face global challenges.

Islamic entrepreneurship education integrates ethical, moral, and spiritual values with practical business practices. This study examines the perspective of the Prophet Muhammad’s hadith on entrepreneurship, emphasizing principles such as honesty, independence, creativity, risk-taking, and social responsibility. Using a qualitative approach, primary hadith sources and scholarly interpretations are analyzed to identify both values and practical implementations of entrepreneurship education in Islam. Findings reveal that the Prophet emphasized self-reliance, productive work, and ethical business conduct, providing practical guidance such as utilizing available resources, step-by-step mentoring, and progressive skill development. Additionally, Islamic entrepreneurship education prioritizes character formation, integrity, and social contribution alongside economic gain. Practical examples from hadith illustrate methods for instilling entrepreneurial values, including prohibitions against unethical transactions, encouragement to work with one’s own hands, and support for independent income generation. The study shows that integrating moral guidance from hadith with business training produces competent, responsible, and ethically grounded entrepreneurs. This framework offers a comprehensive model for modern entrepreneurship education, balancing profitability, ethical conduct, and societal welfare. The research contributes to understanding how Islamic values can form the foundation of sustainable and morally conscious business practices, providing educators and practitioners with actionable insights for cultivating entrepreneurship aligned with Islamic teachings.

This study aims to analyze the transformation process of Islamic edupreneurship values in developing an educational ecosystem oriented toward independence and blessing (barakah) within Islamic schools. The low entrepreneurial and independent spirit among students remains a major challenge for Islamic educational institutions seeking to instill spiritually grounded entrepreneurship values. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through a case study at an Islamic elementary school. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results reveal that the internalization of Islamic edupreneurship values—such as amanah (trustworthiness), shidq (honesty), jiddiyyah (diligence), ibda‘ (creativity), and mas’uliyyah (responsibility)—successfully shifted students’ mindset from consumptive to productive orientation with a focus on barakah. The transformation occurred through curriculum integration, teacher modeling, socio-economic projects, and spiritual habituation. The Islamic edupreneurship-based ecosystem strengthened students’ character, microeconomic independence, and the culture of blessed work. This study recommends developing an Integrative Islamic Edupreneurship Curriculum Model to foster a competitive and morally upright generation.

This study examines the concept of the Great Filter as a metaphor to explain why only a few Islamic missionary organizations and startups are able to survive amidst digital disruption, while many others fail. Disruption, characterized by rapid changes in technology, regulations, and societal behavior, creates significant pressure that demands high levels of adaptability and innovation. This study uses a qualitative method based on a literature review by analyzing various literature related to entrepreneurship, digital missionary work, and dynamic capabilities. The results show that the success of Islamic missionary organizations in facing disruption is determined by a combination of visionary leadership, continuous innovation, mastery of digital technology, and the organization's ability to learn and adapt. Conversely, failure is often caused by limited funding, minimal innovation, and weak digital strategies. Thus, the Great Filter can be understood as a natural selection process that only resilient, adaptive organizations can overcome, and is able to combine spiritual values with entrepreneurial innovation.

Pesantren, as an Islamic educational institution that has long been a center of religious learning and character development, has great potential in advancing entrepreneurship based on local wisdom. The role of pesantren is not only limited to teaching religious studies, but also includes coaching students to have economic independence and competitiveness in the midst of the Times. Local wisdom that grows around pesantren can be an important capital in developing businesses that are relevant to the needs of the community. However, optimizing the function of pesantren in producing students who are independent and able to compete still faces various challenges. One of the main obstacles is the development of Human Resources (HR) which is not only oriented to mastering the theory, but also on practical skills and understanding of local values. Without the right strategy, such great potential is difficult to realize sustainably. This study aims to explore strategies that can be applied in the development of human resources in order to improve the performance of local wisdom-based entrepreneurship in the boarding school. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies on several boarding schools that have succeeded in forming productive business units by utilizing local potential, such as agriculture, fisheries, crafts, and food product processing. Research findings indicate that several crucial factors in building entrepreneurial human resources in pesantren include: strengthening character and work ethic, hands-on practice-based training in the field, collaboration with local business actors for knowledge transfer and market networking, as well as historical and philosophical understanding of local wisdom values.
