This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies implemented by Mrs. Irsyat’s Poli Crackers MSME in Sukowono Village, assess their contribution to business competitiveness, and examine their role in supporting business sustainability. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study method conducted in Sukowono Village, Sukowono District, Jember Regency. Research informants included the business owner, employees, consumers, and resellers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and member checking. The findings indicate that the MSME applies relatively simple marketing strategies adapted to local market conditions, including product quality improvement, competitive pricing, utilization of local distribution channels through small shops and resellers, and word-of-mouth promotion. These strategies have proven effective in increasing competitiveness, as reflected by higher sales, growing customer numbers, and the product’s distinctive taste advantage. Furthermore, the strategies contribute to business sustainability through sales stability, customer loyalty, and gradual business growth. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited capital, labor shortages, and the underutilization of digital technology. Therefore, more innovative and technology-based marketing strategies are needed to support sustainable business development.

The empowerment program for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Takaras Village, Manuhing Subdistrict, Gunung Mas Regency, was carried out to address the problem of low business visibility due to limited promotional media and minimal use of digital technology. Most MSMEs still relied on traditional word-of-mouth promotion, which restricted market reach and reduced competitiveness. To overcome this, the KKN Reguler I Team Group 55 of the University of Palangka Raya implemented activities consisting of informational banner installation and business location registration on Google Maps. The methods included field surveys, banner design planning using simple digital tools, direct assistance in location registration, and banner installation at business sites. The program involved 26 MSMEs, of which 18 received banner support. The installation of banners provided a clearer visual identity for each business, while the use of Google Maps significantly improved consumer accessibility to business locations and services. The results showed that the combination of offline (banners) and online (Google Maps) promotion was effective in increasing product visibility, attracting more customers, and strengthening consumer trust. This initiative also encouraged MSMEs to adopt digital technology in their marketing strategies. Overall, the program made a tangible contribution to the digital transformation of local MSMEs and laid the foundation for sustainable community economic competitiveness

Business location plays a crucial role in determining the success and development of a business, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze how business location influences the performance and sustainability of the Fresh and Healthy Juice MSME in Medan. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through direct observation, interviews with business owners, and documentation of daily business activities. The results show that selecting a strategic location, namely on the main road and close to busy areas such as markets, schools, and offices, has a positive impact on increasing the number of customers and sales volume. Factors such as easy transportation access, environmental cleanliness, comfort of the place, and the attractive appearance of the store also support a positive product image in the eyes of consumers. In addition, an easily accessible location simplifies the distribution of raw materials and expands opportunities for word-of-mouth promotion. Most of the residents of RW 01 Gunung Anyar Tambak Village, Gunung Anyar District, Surabaya, make a living as fishermen. Shrimp paste is the main product for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the area, made from fish and shrimp. The sale of shrimp paste MSMEs in the area is limited to promotion through WhatsApp or simply word of mouth, so there is a need to develop MSMEs to improve the local economy. In the activity of the SDG’s KKNT Work Program for Group 1 of Gunung Anyar Tambak Village, MSMEs are developed by obtaining NIB (Business Identification Number) and PIRT (Food and Beverage Production Permit). By obtaining NIB, the business will be legally guaranteed to meet the requirements for Business and Commercial or Operational Permits. The function of PIRT itself is to increase customer confidence, as product safety and quality are ensured.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) are sectors that are influential in running the economy in the community. MSME are also expected to be able to contribute in creating employment opportunities for the surrounding community, so as to be able to reduce poverty in an area. The existence of the Wolamgrezz MSME in Carangwulung village actually has the potential to become a large MSME in the Wonosalam District and even the entire Jombang Regency, because these UMKM raise the region's superior crops. Therefore, Wolamgrezz MSME must be fully supported in running their business, so that the existing potential can run optimally and can become the leading MSME in Jombang Regency. However, in carrying out its business, Wolamgrezz has several problems that arise in the field, such as obstacles to product promotion through digital e-commerce media and product marketing only by word of mouth, so that consumers who know Wolamgrezz's MSME products are very limited and only within the scope of Carangwulung village. Therefore, the branding and marketing of UMKM Wolamgrezz products must be carried out immediately and intensified so that they can attract consumers widely so that product sales can increase and income will also increase, and this can also affect the opening of new job vacancies.
