This study aims to analyze the influence of a halal lifestyle on consumer preferences in selecting Sharia-compliant retail products. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review method, reviewing various empirical and conceptual studies published between 2017 and 2025. The analysis focused on the relationship between halal awareness, religiosity, ethical consumption values, and Muslim consumer behavior in making choices about Sharia-compliant retail products and services. The results indicate that a halal lifestyle is viewed not only as a form of compliance with Islamic law but also as a social identity and a modern consumption pattern that influences consumer purchasing decisions. Consumers with high levels of halal awareness and religiosity tend to have a greater preference for Sharia-compliant retail products that guarantee halal certification, quality, transparency, and ethical values in their business processes. Furthermore, trust, Islamic brand image, and marketing strategies based on Islamic values contribute to strengthening consumer loyalty to Sharia-compliant retail. This research provides managerial implications for Sharia-compliant retail businesses to develop innovative, educational, and tailored marketing strategies to meet the halal lifestyle needs of modern Muslims.

Stunting remains a persistent nutritional challenge that threatens human capital development in Indonesia. This study examines the effects of exclusive breastfeeding, female education, sanitation, access to safe drinking water, inadequate food consumption, and poverty on stunting prevalence across 34 provinces in Indonesia during 2017–2024. The study employs a random-effects Panel EGLS estimator with Panel Corrected Standard Errors (PCSE) to address heteroskedasticity and cross-sectional dependence in provincial panel data. The findings reveal that exclusive breastfeeding, female education, and adequate sanitation significantly reduce stunting prevalence, while poverty significantly increases it. Interestingly, inadequate food consumption is negatively associated with stunting prevalence, potentially reflecting the contribution of government nutritional assistance and social protection programs. In contrast, access to safe drinking water does not show a statistically significant effect. Among the explanatory variables, female education is strongly associated with reductions in stunting. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening women’s education, improving sanitation quality, and expanding poverty-alleviation and nutrition-sensitive interventions to accelerate reductions in stunting and support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 2 in Indonesia.

The flash floods that struck Aceh Tamiang caused infrastructure damage and contaminated clean water sources, making it difficult for residents to obtain potable water. This situation increases the risk of water-borne diseases and worsens the post-disaster situation. This research aims to develop a large-scale, simple water filtration prototype as an emergency response solution that is effective, economical, and easy to implement by affected communities. The methods used include field observation, water sampling, testing simple physical parameters (turbidity, color, odor, and pH), and designing a gravity-based, multi-stage filtration system without electricity. The prototype uses a combination of filter media such as gravel, silica sand, activated charcoal, and natural fibers in a drum system. Test results show a decrease in turbidity levels from 150–300 NTU to 5–15 NTU after the filtration process, as well as an increase in pH to near neutral. The filtered water is declared suitable for sanitation and consumption after undergoing a further disinfection process. In addition to implementing the technology, this research also includes public education regarding the selection of safe water sources and maintenance of the filtration system. Based on these results, this large-scale simple water filtration prototype is effective as an appropriate technological solution in handling the post-disaster clean water crisis and has the potential to be replicated in other flood-prone areas.

This study aims to analyze the effect of renewable energy, energy consumption, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita on carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in Indonesia for the period 1995-2024. This study uses secondary data over time (time series) with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) multiple linear regression analysis method corrected using the Newey-West Heteroskedasticity and Autocorrelation Consistent (HAC) approach. The results show that renewable energy does not have a significant effect on CO2 emissions, which is caused by the still low share of renewable energy in the national energy mix which only reaches 10.95% in 2024. Energy consumption has a positive and significant effect on CO2 emissions, where every 1% increase in energy consumption increases CO2 emissions by 84.23%. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita has a positive and significant effect on CO2 emissions. Every 1% increase in GDP per capita increases CO2 emissions by 35.03%, indicating that Indonesia remains on the EKC curve. Simultaneously, all three variables have a significant effect, with an adjusted R-squared value of 53.63%. This finding confirms that Indonesia's energy mix, still dominated by fossil fuels, is a major factor in high carbon emissions. Comprehensive energy efficiency policies, accelerated renewable energy transitions, and greener and more sustainable economic growth strategies are needed.

Waste management has become a critical environmental issue at both global and national levels due to increasing population and changing consumption patterns. In Indonesia, waste generation exceeds 60 million tons annually, with a significant portion consisting of plastic waste that requires hundreds of years to decompose. One of the main challenges in addressing this issue is the low level of public awareness and understanding regarding waste types and their decomposition time. This community service program conducted by students of Universitas Negeri Padang aims to improve environmental awareness through environmental education and community empowerment using an innovative visual medium in the form of waste decomposition time educational boards. The activity was implemented in Pasar Hilir Hamlet, Lumindai Village, using a participatory approach involving observation, socialization, board design, production, and installation. The results indicate that the program successfully enhanced community knowledge regarding the differences between organic and inorganic waste and their environmental impacts. The educational boards, placed in strategic locations near waste disposal areas, function as effective visual tools that continuously deliver information and reinforce environmentally responsible behavior. In addition, this program contributes to improving environmental cleanliness, strengthening community participation, and increasing environmental literacy. Therefore, the innovation of waste decomposition time educational boards serves not only as an informative medium but also as a sustainable educational tool to promote long-term behavioral change toward environmental awareness.

Electricity dependence is increasing as people have easier access to electronic devices. However, this ease of access is not always accompanied by adequate energy literacy. In its Community Service program, Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta helped to educate the residents in RW06 Kalibaru, Jakarta, about the safe and efficient use of electricity. This community service program was conducted through participatory seminar with a qualitative approach for residents. The activity used informal visual presentations and discussions in an informal atmosphere. The outreach program demonstrated residents' high enthusiasm for the efficiency of electrical equipment usage such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and water pumps. Through the discussion session, residents realized that using air conditioners with too low a power consumption actually leads to higher energy consumption because the compressor runs continuously. Participants understood that investing in automation concepts, such as using water reservoirs, provides significant long-term electricity cost savings. This outreach successfully shifted residents' paradigm from just simply seeking low prices to selecting devices with optimal capacity according to their needs. This education program demonstrates the effectiveness of energy literacy in improving electricity consumption habits at the household level. Therefore, simple technical understanding can boost family economic financial advantages through sustainable effective energy consumptions.

The extruder-type floating pellet machine is a form of appropriate technology that works by using a screw system to push the raw material while applying pressure to form dense pellets. The main source of raw material for making these pellets comes from trash fish, which are small fish caught by fishermen that are unfit for consumption and have low economic value. Trash fish are relatively cheap because they are classified as non-economical, but they have great potential for use as fish feed. Their distinctive strong aroma can stimulate fish appetite, while their relatively high protein content makes them an ideal source of nutrition. Before use, the trash fish are first dried and then ground using a flour machine to achieve a fine texture. The floured material is then mixed and the moisture content is adjusted to around 42%, so that the extrusion process can run optimally when using the extruder-type pellet machine. The material formulation consists of 70% trash fish meal, 15% corn meal, and 15% wheat flour. The resulting pellets are then tested in a feed laboratory and show protein levels ranging from 30-40%, depending on the quality of the trash fish raw material used. This community service activity involves fish farmer groups in the Beji area, East Ungaran District, which is expected to increase fish farmer insight on how to make floating pellets using an extruder type pellet printing machine.

The development of digital technology has significantly transformed music consumption and marketing strategies in the creative industry. The shift from physical media to digital platforms, especially short-form video-based social media like TikTok, has created a new ecosystem that emphasizes interactivity, community participation, and organic music distribution. TikTok allows users to incorporate song snippets into creative content, positioning music as both entertainment and a symbol of digital identity. This shift reveals that music popularity is now primarily driven by recommendation algorithms and user-generated content rather than traditional promotion. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach with phenomenological analysis to explore the relationship between music consumption behavior and marketing strategies on TikTok. Findings indicate that algorithms act as digital curators, influencing audience preferences, while user participation accelerates the viral spread of songs through challenges, remixes, and content reproduction. Effective music marketing strategies must be data-driven, trend-responsive, and capable of leveraging users' emotional and social engagement. TikTok thus serves not only as a distribution platform but also as a space for constructing global popular culture. This study contributes to digital media scholarship and offers practical implications for designing sustainable marketing strategies in the ever-evolving digital ecosystem.
