The increasing intensity of business competition requires companies to maintain strong financial conditions to avoid financial distress that may disrupt business continuity. This study aims to assess the financial stability and predict the potential bankruptcy of PT Sido Muncul Tbk for the 2022–2024 period using the Altman Z-Score model. A descriptive quantitative approach was applied, utilizing secondary data obtained from annual reports published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the company’s official website. Five key ratios in the Altman model were used as indicators to evaluate the company’s financial position and resilience. The results show Z-Score values of 4.74 in 2022, decreasing slightly to 4.66 in 2023, and rising again to 4.79 in 2024. These scores are significantly above the safe threshold of 2.675, indicating that the company is in a healthy financial state with a very low risk of bankruptcy. Overall, PT Sido Muncul Tbk demonstrates stable financial performance, supported by a strong capital structure and consistent operational results. The Altman Z-Score model also proves to be an effective early-warning tool for identifying potential financial problems.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the Indonesian economy, yet they are vulnerable to various conflicts that can hinder their continuity. Dispute resolution through legal channels (litigation) is often considered inefficient for MSMEs due to the lengthy process, high costs, and inflexibility. Therefore, alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration are considered preferable to litigation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of mediation and arbitration in resolving business conflicts among MSMEs in Indonesia, identify inhibiting factors in resolving business conflicts, and provide recommendations for strengthening the accessibility of these mechanisms for MSMEs. The research method used is empirical juridical, combining normative analysis of regulations governing mediation and arbitration with data collection using document studies related to MSMEs. The results indicate that mediation is generally more effective for MSMEs because it is less expensive, simpler, and can maintain business relationships between the parties. However, the success of mediation is also determined by the quality of the mediator and the willingness of both parties. On the other hand, arbitration provides legal certainty and a relatively quicker resolution process compared to litigation. However, the barriers are the relatively high cost and low legal understanding among MSMEs. A comparison of the two shows that the effectiveness of ADR depends heavily on the availability of information, support from service providers, and the MSME's ability to adapt to legal procedures.

Global economic developments show the acceleration of the adoption of circular business models, where resource efficiency and waste reduction are the main focuses to answer sustainability demands and SDGs targets. Although this trend is strengthening globally, MSMEs, especially those based on family businesses, are still lagging behind in their implementation, even though digitalization is increasingly opening up opportunities for operational optimization and innovation. The urgency of this research arises from the need to understand how the digital mindset and transformation of family business management can accelerate the readiness of MSMEs in implementing circular business practices. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of the three strategic concepts into a single analytical framework through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), a perspective that has rarely been combined in previous studies. With the SLR method based on the PRISMA protocol, this study shows that MSMEs already have a strong foundation in the digital mindset, including technology readiness, innovation orientation, and adaptation of digital business models. Family business values have also been proven to support business continuity through knowledge transfer and long-term investment. However, the implementation of circular business practices is still weak, especially in resource cycle management, sustainable product design, and environmental impact measurement. The implication is that the synergy of digital mindset and family business governance can strengthen the transition of MSMEs to a circular economy that directly supports the achievement of the SDGs, especially in the areas of sustainable consumption-production and industrial innovation.

The development of traditional markets is increasingly threatened by market transformation, both physically and through online sales systems (e-commerce). This study aims to analyze the forms of resilience implemented by clothing vendors at Wage Market, Tulungagung, in maintaining their business continuity amidst declining market conditions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. This research utilizes James S. Coleman's Rational Choice Theory. The methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were six people consisting of four clothing vendors, the Head Coordinator of Wage Market, and the Heads of Market Technical Implementation Units throughout Tulungagung Regency. Subject selection was based on a purposive sampling technique. The results show that the forms of trader resilience consist of economic, innovation, social networks, and psychological aspects. Economically, traders maintain their businesses through managing capital owned by personal savings and cooperative loans. In terms of innovation, traders utilize simple technology and a variety of merchandise patterns. In terms of social networks, family support and solidarity among traders are the main strengths, while psychologically, optimism and religious beliefs help them survive. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of strengthening vendor strategies through digital marketing training and support for market revitalization policies from local governments to maintain the economic sustainability of vendors during times of market transformation.

Family businesses are not only viewed as sources of economic profit but also as inheritances carrying historical and cultural values. This study focuses on the life meaning of the fourth-generation heir of Sate In Bur in Lima Puluh Kota Regency in continuing the family business that has existed for several decades. The purpose of this research is to explore the subjective meaning formed through the heir’s experiences in facing the challenges of maintaining a family enterprise. This study employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to deeply understand the reality experienced by the subject. The research subject was selected purposively based on the criterion of being an active heir currently managing the business. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings reveal five main themes: facing declining income due to market competition, expanding business reach through innovation and digital promotion, strengthening business continuity as a moral responsibility to the family, preserving culinary heritage and local culture, and improving product quality to maintain customer loyalty. These findings indicate that the heir’s life meaning is not solely oriented toward economic aspects but also encompasses family values, cultural identity, and social responsibility in sustaining the longevity of the family business.

This community service activity was carried out with the primary objective of improving the financial literacy of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pesawaran Regency. Financial literacy is considered a fundamental aspect in maintaining business continuity, as it is directly related to the ability of business actors to manage income, record transactions regularly, develop short-term and long-term financial plans, and utilize digital technology as a supporting tool. Low financial literacy is often an obstacle to the development of MSMEs, so interventions in the form of structured training and mentoring are essential. The activity method includes several stages, namely a pre-test to measure initial conditions, interactive delivery of training materials, direct practice using digital financial applications, and a post-test to disseminate learning outcomes. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in all measured indicators. Basic financial literacy increased by 10.16 points, financial recording skills increased by 14.47 points, the ability to prepare financial plans increased by 12.43 points, while financial digitalization experienced the highest performance with an increase of 18.12 points. These findings confirm that financial literacy training programs not only improve conceptual knowledge but also develop the practical skills essential for MSMEs to face the challenges of the modern economic era. This increased understanding and skills are expected to make Pesawaran MSMEs more independent, adaptable to digital technology developments, and more competitive.

This research was conducted with the primary objective of examining and determining the effect of occupational safety, occupational health, and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) on employee performance at UD. Berkah Mandiri, located in Kediri Regency. The background of this study is based on the importance of implementing OHS in the workplace as an effort to minimize the risk of accidents, improve employee well-being, and support overall company productivity. In today’s increasingly competitive industrial world, attention to occupational safety and health is a key factor that not only protects workers but also enhances organizational efficiency and effectiveness. The research method employed was a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of 56 employees, all of whom were taken as respondents through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire instrument constructed based on indicators of occupational safety, occupational health, OHSMS, and employee performance. The data were then analyzed using SPSS version 25.0 through validity and reliability tests, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing both partially and simultaneously. The results of the analysis revealed that occupational safety has a significant effect on employee performance, indicating that the better the implementation of safety standards, the higher the performance achieved. Similarly, occupational health was found to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, suggesting that healthy working conditions contribute to higher motivation and work effectiveness. Furthermore, the OHSMS also significantly influenced employee performance, reflecting that proper policies, procedures, and supervision in OHS management create a safe and productive work environment. Collectively, the three variables—occupational safety, occupational health, and OHSMS—were proven to have a significant simultaneous effect on employee performance at UD. Berkah Mandiri. Thus, this study emphasizes that occupational safety, occupational health, and OHSMS are crucial factors that must receive serious attention in order to improve employee performance and support sustainable business continuity.

This study aims to analyze the influence of Profitability, Liquidity, Leverage, Opinion Shopping, and Public Accounting Firm (KAP) Size on Going Concern Audit Opinion in property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020–2024 period. The audit opinion going concern is an important issue because it reflects the company's ability to maintain its business continuity in the midst of economic uncertainty and increasingly complex market dynamics. The research population includes all companies in the property and real estate sectors on the IDX, with sample selection using purposive sampling techniques that resulted in 60 companies as the object of the study. The collected data was analyzed using the logistic regression method to test the influence of each independent variable on the audit opinion going concern. The results of the study show that profitability has a negative and significant effect on the audit opinion of going concern, which means that the higher the level of profitability of the company, the less likely the auditor to give an audit opinion of going concern. Furthermore, Opinion Shopping has been proven to have a positive and significant effect on going concern audit opinions, so that the practice of seeking alternative auditor opinions has the potential to increase the risk of issuing going concern opinions. Meanwhile, the variables Liquidity, Leverage, and KAP Size did not show a significant influence on the audit opinion going concern. These findings confirm that certain financial performance factors as well as management behavior in seeking auditor opinions have an important role in determining audit opinion going concern, while other factors such as the size of the KAP are not necessarily determinative.

This study aims to identify, assess, and control risks that arise in container loading and unloading activities at PT Dunia Express Transindo using the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) approach. Container loading and unloading activities are complex and involve various parties, making them highly susceptible to risks, both from internal and external aspects. Risks that can occur include system disruptions, operational negligence, equipment damage, and environmental factors such as extreme weather that can affect the smoothness of the loading and unloading process. Therefore, the company needs to have a structured, comprehensive, and sustainable risk management system to maintain operational continuity. This research method refers to the COSO framework and the ISO 31000:2018 standard which focuses on the process of risk identification, assessment of likelihood and impact levels, and formulation of appropriate mitigation strategies. Data were obtained through interviews with management, field observations, and analysis of company documents. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of ERM is able to map risks more systematically, making it easier for the company to determine handling priorities. Several risks with a high probability and significant impact received special attention through the implementation of mitigation strategies such as improving information technology systems, routine employee training, and more scheduled equipment maintenance. These findings indicate that ERM implementation not only functions as a risk control tool but also plays a role in increasing operational efficiency, strengthening inter-departmental coordination, and minimizing potential losses that could disrupt company stability. Furthermore, ERM implementation makes a real contribution to increasing the competitiveness of companies in the logistics and stevedoring sector, especially in facing dynamic business challenges and external environmental uncertainty.

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the SAP accounting information system in supporting the implementation of the Independent Learning–Independent Campus (MBKM) Internship Program at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk, Gedangan Unit. SAP, as an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, was adopted to replace the previous desktop-based system, which had significant limitations, such as restricted local access, dependence on additional licenses, and lower integration capabilities across departments. The main objective of this research is to determine how SAP contributes to improving organizational efficiency while simultaneously providing practical learning opportunities for students participating in the MBKM internship program. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through direct observation of company operations, semi-structured interviews with student interns and field supervisors, and analysis of company documentation. The findings indicate that the use of SAP has enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and speed in recording and reporting financial transactions. Through their internship, students engaged directly in business processes, particularly in handling purchase requisitions, reimbursement procedures, and asset management activities. This exposure enabled students to develop a deeper understanding of integrated financial systems and the workflow of a large-scale agribusiness corporation. Although several technical challenges were encountered, particularly in the form of temporary network disruptions, such issues did not substantially hinder the system’s overall performance. The availability of prompt technical support from the company’s IT team minimized potential negative impacts and ensured system continuity. Beyond improving corporate financial governance, SAP also offered valuable experiential learning for interns, bridging theoretical knowledge acquired in academic settings with real-world industrial applications. Overall, the study concludes that SAP functions not only as a strategic enterprise tool for the company but also as an effective educational medium that supports the success of the MBKM internship program.

Sharia financing is a key instrument that Islamic banks must promote in channeling third-party funds. This aligns with the basic principles of Islamic banking, which emphasize fairness, partnership, and business sustainability. Therefore, it is crucial to examine how various Islamic financing schemes impact Islamic bank profitability. This study focuses on Bank Mega Syariah, using secondary data sourced from quarterly financial reports for the period 2017 to 2024. The financing variables analyzed include musyarakah, mudharabah, murabahah, and ijarah, while profitability is measured using relevant financial performance indicators. The analysis method used is a quantitative approach using regression techniques to examine the effect of each type of financing on bank profitability. The results show that musyarakah, mudharabah, and murabahah-based financing have a positive and significant impact on profitability, meaning that the higher the distribution of these three types of financing, the greater their contribution to increasing bank profits. These findings indicate that the business partnership model, profit-sharing system, and profit margin stipulated in the murabahah contract significantly contribute to maintaining profit growth. Conversely, ijarah financing did not significantly impact profitability. This may be due to the characteristics of ijarah, which tends to be oriented towards fixed assets or leases, resulting in a relatively limited contribution to increasing short-term profits. Overall, this study provides important implications for Islamic bank management to further optimize the proportion of musyarakah, mudharabah, and murabahah financing as a strategy to boost financial performance and maintain business continuity amidst the competitive Islamic banking industry.

Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to analyze and examine the influence of company size, profitability, and liquidity on going-concern audit opinions in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Going-concern audit opinions are important indicators provided by auditors to assess the company's future business continuity. Factors such as company size, profitability, and liquidity are often associated with the auditor's likelihood of issuing such an opinion. The research method used is a quantitative method with an associative approach. The types and sources of data used in this study are secondary data in the form of annual financial reports of companies listed on the IDX during the 2019–2023 period. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling method, namely determining samples based on certain criteria relevant to the research objectives. From this process, 375 observational data samples were obtained. Data processing and analysis were carried out using IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 27 software, which allows for accurate and measurable statistical testing. The results of the study indicate that company size does not affect going-concern audit opinions, so the size of the company's assets is not a determining factor for auditors in issuing such an opinion. Meanwhile, profitability was shown to have a significant influence on going-concern audit opinions, with companies with higher profitability tending to receive unmodified going-concern audit opinions. Conversely, liquidity had no effect on going-concern audit opinions, indicating that the ability to meet short-term obligations is not always a primary consideration for auditors. These findings are expected to contribute to company management, auditors, and investors' understanding of the factors influencing going-concern audit opinions.

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived organizational support and work engagement on the contextual performance of entrepreneurs in Padang City. Contextual performance is an important aspect of the work environment, reflecting the voluntary behavior of employees or entrepreneurs in helping, collaborating, and supporting organizational or business goals beyond their core duties. In the context of entrepreneurship, contextual performance can influence business continuity and development, as highly committed entrepreneurs tend to demonstrate greater initiative, loyalty, and involvement in business processes. Perceived organizational support, the extent to which individuals feel valued and supported by the organizational environment or business community, is a determining factor in shaping these positive behaviors. Meanwhile, work engagement reflects the level of enthusiasm and dedication of individuals in carrying out their business roles. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional method, and data were collected through a survey of 1,146 entrepreneurs in Padang City, West Sumatra Province. The analysis showed that both perceived organizational support and work engagement significantly influenced the contextual performance of entrepreneurs. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.67 indicates that 67% of the variation in contextual performance can be explained by these two variables (p < 0.01). This finding underscores the importance of creating a supportive environment and encouraging high work engagement in the entrepreneurial context. Therefore, business owners, policymakers, and business community managers need to consider these two factors when designing comprehensive business performance improvement strategies to support regional economic growth.

This study aims to analyze the influence of technological literacy, accounting information system maturity, and technology-based auditing on cyber risk in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The background of this research is based on the increasing adoption of digital technology by MSMEs, particularly in the management of financial information and business operations. However, this digital transformation has not been fully matched by system readiness or human resource competency, creating the potential for significant digital threats, including cyber risks that can impact business continuity. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 90 MSME respondents who have utilized digital accounting systems in their business activities. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the latest version of SPSS software. The results show that technological literacy and accounting information system maturity have a negative and significant effect on cyber risk. This means that the higher the level of technological literacy and the more mature the accounting information system implemented, the lower the level of cyber risk faced by MSMEs. On the other hand, technology-based audits did not show a significant impact on cyber risk, indicating that the effectiveness of audits using a technology approach is still suboptimal in the context of MSMEs. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 52.3% indicates that the variation in cyber risk can be explained by the three independent variables. This finding has practical implications for MSMEs and policymakers, namely the importance of strengthening technology and information systems capacity as a cyber risk mitigation strategy. Furthermore, there is a need to improve understanding and implement technology-based audits in a more structured manner to have a more significant impact on MSME digital security.
