This research is motivated by the high risk of fatigue experienced by ship crews during voyages, which directly affects occupational safety and mental well-being. Fatigue arises from long working hours, inadequate rest time, heavy workloads, and extreme environmental conditions such as high temperatures, engine noise, and vessel vibrations. On the MT. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II, the problem becomes more complex due to the tight work rhythm, short berthing periods, and fast, repetitive loading–unloading activities. Harsh weather conditions, short but intensive sailing distances, and limited relaxation facilities make the crew increasingly vulnerable to both physical and mental fatigue. In addition, a work culture that tends to be authoritarian and lacks communication exacerbates psychological pressure, especially when crew members find it difficult to report their fatigue to superiors. This study uses a qualitative method through direct observation and interviews with all crew members in the deck and engine departments. The aim is to analyze the influence of the work environment and work culture on fatigue levels onboard. The results show that environmental factors such as high temperatures, narrow workspaces, and vessel instability significantly affect physical fatigue. Meanwhile, mental fatigue is triggered by ineffective communication, hierarchical pressure, and an unsupportive work culture. These findings align with the perspectives of Mathis and Jackson and comply with the provisions of the STCW 2010 and MLC 2006, which emphasize the importance of regulating working hours and fatigue management. Overall, optimizing rest hours, improving the work environment, and reforming organizational culture are required to reduce fatigue risks.

In addition to being programmatically successful in lowering TFR and slowing population growth rates, the Long-Term Contraceptive technique (MKJP) is an affordable technique of preventing conception. This study's objective was to examine variables associated with long-term contraceptive (MKJP) selection at the Motoboi Kecil Community Health Center. The study design is cross-sectional and the research methodology is quantitative. The investigation was carried out in the workspace of the Motoboi Kecil Community Health Center. 300 women of reproductive age made up the study's population, and a straightforward random selection procedure was used to choose 45 participants. A questionnaire was used to gather the data, which were then subjected to univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square statistical test. Age and MKJP choice did not correlate, according to the data (p-value = 0.09 > 0.05). The choice of MKJP was correlated with education (p-value = 0.003 < 0.05). The choice of MKJP was correlated with occupation (p-value = 0.003 < 0.05). The choice of MKJP and the husband's support are related, with a p value of 0.004 < 0.05. Parity and MKJP selection are related, with a p value of 0.003 < 0.05. Knowledge and MKJP selection are related, with a p-value of 0.003 < 0.05.

This community service program is designed to address the need for digitalization in administrative management and improve digital literacy in schools. The main focus of the activity is training on the use of Google Workspace as an integrated knowledge management system to improve work efficiency and collaboration among staff. Problems faced by schools include the continued use of manual administrative systems and a low understanding of how to use digital platforms. The training was conducted as a workshop with a learning-by-doing approach, allowing participants to learn directly and contextually. The training material covered the operation of various Google Workspace features, such as Google Forms, Sheets, Calendar, Docs, Drive, and Meet. This activity was designed so that participants not only understand the function of each application but also are able to integrate them into daily administrative activities. The training evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests, which showed a significant increase in participants' technical understanding. In addition to improving digital competency, this training also encouraged a shift in work culture towards a more collaborative, efficient, and data-driven one. The program's success demonstrates that digital transformation in educational environments can be achieved through an educational, participatory approach tailored to local needs. With positive results, this activity has the potential to be replicated in other educational institutions as a sustainable strategy for cloud-based administrative management. This training is proof that adopting digital technology in schools can strengthen administrative governance comprehensively and sustainably.

Sanankerto Village still relies on manual administration, which affects the efficiency of data management and public services. This community service program aims to optimize the village administrative information system through training in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace for 20 village officials. The methods used include lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and one-month mentoring. Evaluation results show a significant increase in skills—the average pre-test score of 50% rose to 85% in the post-test. Participants are now able to prepare financial reports, use spreadsheets for archiving, and utilize Google Docs and Google Drive for collaborative village data management. These findings align with similar community programs in Kedondong District, where Excel has been used for systematic administrative archiving. Moreover, the use of Google Spreadsheet has proven to enhance organizational efficiency in the Karang Taruna youth organization. This program demonstrates that strengthening village officials' capacity in information technology can support more professional and accountable village governance.

Small-scale industries such as tofu and tempeh factories play a significant role in the local economy but often face serious issues such as workplace accidents. This study aims to describe the working conditions and their relation to unsafe acts by workers at the XYZ tofu and tempeh factory. A descriptive qualitative approach was used through direct observation and interviews with four workers. The findings show that a hot and noisy work environment, poor ventilation, and disorganized workspace affect workers’ behavior in carrying out tasks without using proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Unsafe work practices have become a common habit due to factors such as routine behavior, limited facilities, and demands for work efficiency. The study concludes that an unsupportive work environment is directly associated with the increase in unsafe behavior. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve the working environment, including ventilation, workspace layout, and adequate provision of PPE, as well as to increase workers’ awareness of occupational health and safety through regular training and outreach. These measures are essential to foster a safe and healthy work culture in small-scale industrial settings.

This study aims to evaluate production waste at PT XYZ, a food manufacturing company in Bandung, Indonesia, which experiences inefficiencies caused by overproduction and product defects. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was used, employing data from production reports, field observations, and interviews. The analysis was conducted using the 7 Waste framework, the 5S workplace organization method, and the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle. The findings show that the main types of waste at PT XYZ are overproduction and defects, which are caused by inaccurate demand forecasting, ineffective layout, and inconsistent quality control. By implementing 5S and PDCA, the company successfully reduced waste, improved workspace organization, and increased process efficiency. This study provides practical insights for manufacturing companies seeking to implement lean strategies for continuous improvement.

This research is located at the Youth and Sports Office of Bogor City and is focused on knowing how the process of managing office space, identifying the obstacles faced, and exploring the solutions applied in the management. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach to obtain a comprehensive picture of the condition of office layout. The subjects in this study were general employees who had direct involvement in the management and utilization of work space. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that spatial management has not been running optimally, as seen from the inefficient spatial arrangement, limited workspace capacity, and not maximizing the utilization of comfort support elements such as lighting, air ventilation, and aesthetic aspects of the room. The main obstacle found is the physical condition of the building which is an old building and is not fully in accordance with the current office spatial needs. Efforts made by the agency include a needs assessment in the budgeting process based on applicable public service needs standards, as well as maximizing the use of available space to support service efficiency and effectiveness. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to be a reference and consideration for agencies in developing their office space.
