Patient safety culture is a critical component in healthcare organizations, reflecting the values, attitudes, competencies, and behavioral patterns that ensure safe patient care. This study aims to analyze the influence of knowledge and work environment on patient safety culture, with attitude serving as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach with an explanatory causal design was employed, involving 118 nurses as respondents selected through total population sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares. The findings reveal that both knowledge and work environment have a significant direct effect on patient safety culture. Additionally, knowledge and work environment significantly influence attitudes, while attitudes themselves have a significant effect on patient safety culture. However, attitude does not mediate the relationship between knowledge and patient safety culture, but it does mediate the influence of the work environment on patient safety culture. These results indicate that improving nurses’ knowledge and creating a supportive work environment are essential strategies for strengthening patient safety culture. The study also highlights the importance of fostering positive attitudes through organizational support and conducive working conditions. The implications suggest that hospital management should focus on continuous training programs, enhancing workplace conditions, and developing systems that promote positive behavioral attitudes among healthcare workers to improve overall patient safety outcomes.

Patient safety is a top priority in healthcare services in hospitals. One of the critical elements is the accuracy of patient identification to prevent incidents such as procedural errors or medication administration. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurses' compliance in implementing SBAR communication with the accuracy of patient identification at Hospital X, West Jakarta. This study is a quantitative analytical study. The research design used was a cross-sectional study. The population in this study were nurses working at Hospital X, West Jakarta with a sample of 50 respondents taken using the total sampling technique. The data collection technique used an instrument in the form of an observation sheet for SBAR compliance and patient identification accuracy. Data analysis used the Chi-Square statistical test method. Based on the results of the study, it was found that most nurses were not compliant in implementing SBAR communication, namely 27 people (54%) and the majority were not accurate in identifying patients, namely 30 people (60%). The results of the statistical test showed a p value = 0.000 (p <0.05), which means there is a significant relationship between nurses' compliance in implementing SBAR communication with the accuracy of patient identification at Hospital X, West Jakarta. This study indicates that the better nurses' adherence to SBAR communication, the better the accuracy of patient identification. Hospitals are recommended to increase routine supervision and ongoing training to strengthen a culture of patient safety through effective communication.

This study aims to analyze the discretion of family planning counselors in implementing contraceptive policies and the influence of acceptors' socio-demographic characteristics in Demak Regency. Using a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, the study included 89 respondents for quantitative analysis and five key informants for in-depth interviews. The results showed a strong positive correlation between counselor discretion and acceptor socio-demographic characteristics (r = 0.646; p < 0.001), which explained 41.7% of the variance in discretionary practices. Counselors adapted communication strategies based on the age, education, geographic location, and culture of acceptors. Policy implementation faced obstacles in the counselor-community ratio (1:23) and the dominance of short-term contraceptive choices due to socio-cultural influences. Theoretical implications enrich the literature on street-level bureaucracy, while practical implications recommend strengthening counselors' capacity, increasing the ideal ratio, and implementing IEC strategies tailored to local culture. Limitations include a single geographic focus and a cross-sectional design. Future research is suggested to use longitudinal designs and multi-regional comparative studies to explore the dynamics of discretion in different socio-cultural contexts.

Patient-Centered Care (PCC) is a healthcare approach that places the patient at the center of every interaction and clinical decision-making. However, a preliminary study at Tarumajaya Hospital showed that 58% of healthcare workers had not yet optimally implemented the PCC approach. This study aimed to analyze the influence of self-efficacy and social support on the implementation of Patient-Centered Care, with safety culture as a mediating variable, at Tarumajaya Hospital. The research method used was quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional design. The study sample used a saturated sampling technique of 132 healthcare workers, consisting of doctors, nurses, and medical support staff. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that self-efficacy and social support had a positive and significant effect on safety culture and PCC implementation. Safety culture also had a positive and significant effect on PCC implementation. Furthermore, safety culture was shown to mediate the influence of self-efficacy and social support on PCC implementation. The coefficient of determination value indicates that the model has strong ability to explain variations in PCC.

Hand washing is a major pillar in clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS). However, there are still children who do not understand the correct handwashing technique so that germ cleaning is not optimal. This community service activity aims to improve students' knowledge and motor skills in practicing the six steps of hand washing according to World Health Organization (WHO) standards. The method used in this activity is interactive counseling combined with live demonstrations. The stages of the activity include providing material through audiovisual media (video/poster), direct demonstrations by instructors, and independent practice by all participants. In addition, a question and answer session was held to ensure student understanding and corrective feedback on inappropriate movements. Evaluation instruments in the form of observation sheets were used to assess the accuracy of the sequence, duration, and coverage of the hand area when washing. The result of this activity was the success of all participants in practicing the six-step sequence of handwashing correctly independently. The involvement of teachers and school health workers also strengthens the sustainability of this practice through regular monitoring. Through this education, it is hoped that early awareness will arise which has become a routine habit to reduce the risk of disease transmission in the school and home environment and support the creation of a culture of clean living from an early age.

This community service activity aims to enhance students' literacy skills through creative writing training. The target group consists of students at MTsN 2 INHIL Riau who are still in the early stages of developing writing abilities. The method of implementation includes interactive lectures on the fundamental concepts of creative writing, writing exercises on specific themes, group discussions, and intensive mentoring in creating simple written works. The results of the training show a significant improvement in students' motivation to write, their ability to express ideas in written form, and the production of creative works such as poetry and short stories. Additionally, this activity has sparked a sustained interest in developing a culture of literacy within the school environment, encouraging students to actively engage with writing beyond the training sessions. This indicates that creative writing training is not only effective in developing student potential but also contributes to the strengthening of the madrasah literacy movement, creating a lasting impact on students' literacy habits.

This study examines the stigma and patterns of social support in adolescents with unplanned pregnancies in Makassar in the context of the Bugis-Makassar culture that upholds the values of siri' (honor and shame). Teen pregnancy is understood as an experience influenced by the confluence of traditional values, religious morality, and modern social demands. This study used an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach on 17 adolescent girls aged 15–19 years who experienced unplanned pregnancies in June–November 2023. Data were obtained through in-depth semi-structured interviews, recorded, verbatim transcribed, and analyzed using a six-stage science process with a focus on the experience of stigma and social support. Two main themes emerged: Living Under the Shadow of Siri': Multidimensional Stigma and Navigating Social Support in the Context of Shame. Participants experienced widespread stigma in a variety of contexts, including family (serial violations and family shame), society (moral judgments and gossip), health services (discrimination of health workers), and educational environments (bullying and exclusion). Stigma is also internalized in the form of guilt and negative identity, and is especially severe in adolescents with economic limitations. Efforts to seek support are often hampered by concerns about stigma, so adolescents engage in selective disclosure and rely more on peers. Grandma is often the most accepting source of family support. These findings underscore the need for multilevel interventions that reduce community stigma, strengthen friendly and confidential health services, and develop culturally sensitive peer support networks.

The Cultural Advancement Facilitation through Pinhole Photography as an Educational Medium for Children program aims to enhance cultural literacy, creativity, and awareness among young generations regarding the preservation of Malay Deli cultural heritage. This initiative is motivated by the declining interest of children in local history and culture amid rapid modernization, particularly in coastal areas with limited access to educational resources. Pinhole photography is employed as an educational approach due to its simplicity and reflective nature, fostering patience, accuracy, and a fundamental understanding of the interconnection between art, science, and culture. The program was conducted over three days through a series of activities, including workshops on constructing pinhole cameras, field exploration and photography at Malay Deli heritage sites namely Maimun Palace, Al- Mashun Grand Mosque, Al-Osmani Grand Mosque, and Sri Deli Park and photo developing and curation sessions. The activities actively involved children from the Rumah Edukasi Anak Pesisir community as primary participants in the visual documentation of cultural heritage. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of Malay Deli historical and cultural values, the development of creative and reflective thinking skills, and the production of children’s photographic works with potential use as educational and cultural promotion media. Overall, this program contributes to participatory-based cultural advancement and strengthens sustainable cultural tourism through an educational, creative, and sustainable approach.

The world of education must actively participate in preparing a creative, innovative, and competitive generation in response to advances in technology and science. Schools, as formal educational institutions, have a great responsibility to improve students' entrepreneurial skills by adding innovative product development theory to the learning process. Amidst increasingly fierce competition, product innovation is essential to create added value and maintain the sustainability of managed businesses. Entrepreneurship also plays an important role in driving social change and economic growth. Students are also encouraged to learn to be more creative, take initiative, and dare to take risks if they are given the facilities to develop their entrepreneurial spirit at school. Practical learning, training in innovative product creation, and business management simulations help students understand and apply entrepreneurial principles efficiently. Schools are expected to be a sustainable place for developing students' entrepreneurial character through targeted outreach and instruction. This method not only improves students' knowledge and skills, but also builds independence and innovation, which can help students prepare for the world of work, business, and industry. The goal is to foster an entrepreneurial culture focused on developing personal potential, thereby producing independent, adaptive, highly competitive graduates who are ready to face global challenges.

Competition in acquiring young talent is increasing, so employer branding strategies  are an important element for organizations in attracting the interest of generation Z. As digital natives, generation Z has different characteristics and expectations, including the need for career development, work-life balance, organizational reputation, and an inclusive work culture (Smith, 2022). In the midst of global competition and the increasingly dominant use of digital technology in the job search process, companies are required to build an authentic and relevant employer image in order to increase the attractiveness of their talents. Previous research has shown that employer branding has a significant effect on the interest in applying for jobs for generation Z, either directly or through mediating factors such as organizational reputation and person-organization fit (Backhaus & Tikoo, 2004; Jiang & Iles, 2024). Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to analyze the influence of employer branding on the interest in applying for jobs of Generation Z and examine the role of organizational reputation and person organization fit as a mediation variable. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of Generation Z respondents who were looking for a job, then analyzed using multiple regression and bootstrapping mediation test. The results of the study show that employer branding has a positive and significant effect on the interest in applying for jobs for generation Z, and this influence is stronger when the reputation of the organization and the person-organization fit plays the role of mediator. These findings affirm the importance for organizations to build a positive image, provide an inclusive work culture, and highlight the value match between companies and applicants in order to be able to compete in the fight for young talent in the digital era.

This study explores how Generation Z constructs work values and meaning in modern organizations shaped by digitalization and social transformation. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach under a social constructivist paradigm, the research investigates the lived experiences of young professionals in the digital, creative, and startup sectors. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and non-participant observation and analyzed using thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006; Moustakas, 1994). Findings show that Generation Z defines work through three interrelated dimensions: (1) intrinsic motivation grounded in personal purpose and self-expression, (2) redefined productivity emphasizing creativity and emotional balance rather than quantitative output, and (3) job satisfaction derived from inclusive culture and adaptive leadership. These results support Self-Determination Theory (Deci & Ryan, 2000) and Social Constructionism (Berger & Luckmann, 1966), showing that work meaning is socially constructed rather than objectively given. Overall, the study concludes that for Generation Z, work represents not merely economic activity but a medium for identity, contribution, and personal growth, urging organizations to embrace meaning-centered and value-driven leadership to enhance engagement and fulfillment.

The focus and objective of the community service program is to empower teachers at MIN 8 Nganjuk and its surrounding areas to maximize their scientific writing. While scientific writing in the form of PTK is an administrative obligation, it also provides a positive contribution to improving learning. The Asset-Based Community-Driven Development (ABCD) method prioritizes the utilization of existing assets and potential. The ABCD steps include Discovery (discovering potential), Dream (shared dreams), Design (program design), Define (determining concrete steps), and Destiny (determining goals and implementation). The results of the mentoring program indicate that the teachers have a good foundation in writing scientific papers. However, they are still hampered by busy administrative routines. The training aims to stimulate writing enthusiasm and bridge the realization of book chapters among teachers. This mentoring is expected to have a positive impact on improving the quality of teachers' scientific work and improving the learning process at school. In addition, this program also aims to build a sustainable writing culture among educators.

This community‑engagement study aimed to revitalize the Qur’anic ecosystem in Sempu Village (Ngancar District, Kediri Regency) by fostering inter‑generational synergy—among families, youth communities, and TPQ (Qur’an Study Groups)—using an asset‑based community development (ABCD) approach. The program identified and mobilised local assets such as TPQ students/alumni, active youth, community leaders, mosque/TPQ facilities, and locally established networks to strengthen Qur’an mentoring with a psycho‑spiritual dimension. The research employed a qualitative intervention method executed in three phases: asset mapping & diagnosis; design & implementation of the intervention; and program evaluation & reflection. Results indicated that youth attendance increased from 45 % to 78 %; the number of participating families rose from 18 to 32; and 90 % of TPQ administrators expressed the intention to continue the inter‑generational forum model on a regular basis. Discussion revealed that the intervention did more than improve attendance—it reinforced a sense of ownership, social connectedness, and internalization of Qur’anic values (spiritual well‑being). The psycho‑spiritual approach proved effective in strengthening youth identity and building a sustainable Qur’anic community culture. Limitations include the short duration of the intervention (12 weeks) and persistent communication barriers between generations related to time constraints and family workloads. Recommendations include conducting long‑term measurements, adapting the mentoring modules to accommodate family/youth time issues, and replicating the model in other villages with different characteristics.

This community engagement program aims to analyze and strengthen institutional synergy among the Special Crimes Division, the Civil and Administrative Affairs Division, and the Intelligence Division of the Palangka Raya District Prosecutor’s Office through a community-organizing framework and participatory collaboration. The initiative stems from a strategic need to optimize coordination, enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement, and foster the development of an integrated work pattern that is responsive to the complexities of contemporary legal issues. Using the participatory action research (PAR) method, the program was implemented through participatory assessments, thematic discussions, field observations, case simulations, and the strengthening of legal administration, all of which collectively contributed to substantial improvements in analytical capacity, professionalism, and cross-divisional communication patterns. The findings indicate that synergy across divisions not only enhances the technical efficiency of case handling but also generates institutional social change through the establishment of new work routines, the emergence of local leaders, and the strengthening of internal social capital. Theoretically, these outcomes reinforce perspectives from collaborative governance, organizational learning, and institutional change, which emphasize that institutional transformation can only be achieved through functional integration, knowledge exchange, and the cultivation of a collaborative institutional culture. This program recommends the institutionalization of coordination procedures, the utilization of information technology as a tool for data integration, and the implementation of continuous synergistic training to sustain the changes achieved. Consequently, this engagement contributes both empirically and conceptually to the development of an adaptive, integrated law enforcement model aimed at improving the quality of public service delivery.

The low effectiveness of student organizational performance in designing and managing structured work programs presents a major challenge to strengthening the leadership culture at MTsN 1 Probolinggo. This community service program aims to enhance students’ managerial and leadership capacities through performance mentoring for the Intra-Madrasah Student Organization (OSIM), based on innovations in learning management. The methods employed include training sessions, workshops, and continuous mentoring, all designed collaboratively with school stakeholders. The activity stages began with a needs analysis and problem mapping, followed by the development of training modules, the implementation of organizational management training, and interactive workshops aimed at developing adaptive and applicable work programs. The proposed solutions encompass strengthening foundational understanding of organizational management, enhancing the role of members in program planning, and facilitating the implementation of OSIM activities that support the creation of an active learning environment. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests to measure comprehension improvement, field activity observations, and assessments of work program achievement. The results indicate significant improvements in participants’ cognitive and practical skills, particularly in the planning, execution, and evaluation of OSIM programs that are now more structured and goal-oriented. In conclusion, this community service activity successfully reinforced student leadership competencies through an innovative approach to managing student organizations, while also promoting the development of a sustainable culture of collaborative work. Based on the outcomes, it is recommended that this mentoring model be replicated in other madrasahs and that OSIM leadership development programs be systematically integrated into extracurricular curricula to ensure the continuity and expansion of the positive impacts achieved

This community service activity was conducted by lecturers from STIM Sukma in October 2025 at Medan Tembung District. The aim was to enhance the awareness and understanding of construction workers regarding the importance of using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as a preventive measure against occupational accidents. Ten construction workers participated in the socialization activity, which included interactive lectures, group discussions, and simple demonstrations on the proper use of PPE. The results indicated a positive improvement in workers’ knowledge and awareness toward PPE use, although some limitations were observed regarding tool availability and habitual work behaviors. This activity highlights the significance of an educational and humanistic approach in cultivating a culture of safety within the informal construction sector. Through follow-up programs and regular mentoring, it is hoped that changes in worker behavior will develop more consistently. Furthermore, collaboration with local stakeholders is crucial to ensure the availability of PPE and the desire for a culture of workplace safety within the community.
