The era of digitalization demands that the world of education adapt quickly to technological developments. One of the basic skills that elementary school students need to have is the ability to operate a computer, particularly in typing and using word processing applications. Community service research was conducted at the Kemala Bhayangkari Foundation 1 Medan with the aim of improving students' digital literacy thru typing training using Microsoft Word and the interactive media 10fastfingers.com. The training method is conducted using a workshop model, which consists of two main topics. The first material is a basic introduction to typing using the ASDF;LKJ pattern and the use of important keyboard keys. The second material is an introduction to basic Microsoft Word features, such as changing font type and size, using Bold, Italic, Underline, changing text color, and highlighting. Additionally, students are trained to use 10fastfingers.com to interactively improve their typing speed and accuracy. The research instruments are pretest-posttest, observation, and student response questionnaires. The research results show a significant improvement in typing skills. Average speed increased from 8–10 words per minute to 20–25 words per minute, with over 85% accuracy. Student responses were also very positive; they felt more confident, more motivated, and able to use Microsoft Word more effectively. This training program has proven effective in improving digital literacy among elementary school students while also fostering an interest in technology-based learning.

This Community Service activity (PKM) was carried out at the Church of Faith, Hope, and Love (IHAKA) with the aim of empowering lay members who do not have a formal theological background but have a desire to serve as Cell Group (KOMSEL) leaders. The method used is a participatory approach based on training and contextual reflection, consisting of three stages: interactive workshops, service reflection, and mentoring. The training is designed to equip participants with basic understanding of spiritual leadership, the ability to communicate the Word, as well as patterns of household worship relevant to the congregation's context. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' confidence in leading worship, the ability to actively discuss the Word, and the formation of closer service relationships through prayer and shared meals. Post-training mentorship also strengthens participants' commitment to serving with faithfulness and humility. This activity demonstrates that service is not merely a routine activity, but a calling in life that can be carried out by lay congregants through simple yet impactful guidance. This PKM is expected to serve as an initial model for other local churches in nurturing lay ministers in a contextual and sustainable manner.

Negotiation is a strategic communication process in which multiple parties work to reconcile differences and reach mutually beneficial agreements through the exchange of information, interests, and viewpoints. Although traditional theories emphasize analytical elements such as developing a BATNA, crafting offer–counteroffer strategies, and employing persuasive framing, recent research underscores the growing importance of interpersonal competencies in shaping negotiation success. Through a qualitative literature-based approach, this study explores how empathy, assertive communication, and emotional regulation influence negotiation outcomes, examines their relevance in digital negotiation environments, and proposes an integrated training framework for professionals and entrepreneurs. The findings reveal that empathy strengthens a negotiator’s ability to interpret emotional cues, identify underlying concerns, and build trust, thereby minimizing miscommunication. Assertive communication supports clear expression of interests and boundaries while maintaining respect, which enhances collaborative problem-solving. Emotional regulation promotes composure and cognitive flexibility, particularly in high-pressure interactions. In technology-mediated negotiations conducted via email, messaging platforms, or virtual meetings, these skills must be adapted due to limited physical cues and higher risk of misinterpretation, requiring explicit wording and intentional emotional management. The proposed model incorporates empathy training, assertive communication development, emotional regulation practices, and digital negotiation skills to cultivate adaptive and emotionally intelligent negotiators.

This community service activity was carried out in Sladi Village with the goal of improving the digital literacy of village officials through the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) plugins in Microsoft Word and Excel. The main issue faced by the village officials was their limited ability to use digital technology, which resulted in administrative tasks being carried out manually and inefficiently. Therefore, this digital literacy training aimed to enhance the skills of village officials in utilizing digital tools, especially AI, to support their administrative work. The method used in this activity was Participatory Action Research (PAR), which involved the stages of diagnosing, action planning, action taking, evaluating, and specifying learning. Evaluation of the activity was conducted using Likert scale questionnaires and open-ended questions to collect feedback from participants regarding their understanding and responses to the training provided. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS to calculate the mean, standard deviation, and qualitative findings from the open-ended questions. The evaluation results showed that the benefits of the activity (mean = 4.2) and the intention to implement AI (mean = 4.2) received the highest scores, indicating that the participants found the training highly beneficial and were motivated to apply AI in their daily tasks. On the other hand, the understanding of AI in Excel (mean = 3.7) and the assessment of the material (mean = 3.7) showed that further in-depth learning was needed to improve participants' comprehension and skills. Overall, the activity successfully improved the skills of village officials and raised collective awareness to transition towards a more efficient and adaptive digital village administration. This training is expected to positively contribute to the digital transformation in the village.

This study was conducted to analyze the influence of motivation, work discipline, and work ability on service quality at the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Kedungudi Village, Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency. The background of the study stems from the important role of human resources in supporting the quality of public services, especially in the Waste Bank business unit managed by the BUMDes. Human resources are considered the most strategic asset in achieving organizational goals, especially in community-based enterprises such as village-owned enterprises. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample was all 25 BUMDes employees and was determined using a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale that had undergone validity and reliability tests. The use of a Likert scale questionnaire ensures measurable perceptions and attitudes from respondents regarding the studied variables. Data analysis was conducted through multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results showed that partially, work discipline and work ability had a significant positive effect on service quality, while motivation had a significant negative effect. This finding indicates that motivation, if not aligned with organizational needs, may lead to counterproductive outcomes. Simultaneous testing showed that all three variables significantly influenced service quality, with a coefficient of determination of 68.8%. In other words, nearly 70 percent of service quality can be explained by motivation, work discipline, and work ability. This finding underscores the importance of holistic human resource management, encompassing strengthening work discipline, improving competency, and reviewing the motivation system to align with both organizational and individual needs. Research recommendations include evaluating the motivational models used, consistently monitoring discipline, and providing ongoing training. Continuous training and development programs are essential to sustaining and improving service quality in the Kedungudi Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes).

A professional leader of an educational institution is someone who is able to provide direction, set goals to be achieved, provide solutions to every problem, make various decisions, planning and strategies. He is a great person in implementing concepts. He actively communicates, coordinates, supervises and conducts evaluations. The most important thing is that he motivates teachers and education personnel to become professional teachers and education personnel. He builds morale and a spirit of togetherness in the madrasah educational institution, teaches, trains, and gives advice. All of these hopes will be realized if a leader has the integrity to lead the madrasah educational institution to become an excellent and quality institution. Leader, which means "to lead" or "leader," is the root of the word "leadership," which indicates the act of taking control. "Leadership as the ability to influence a group towards achieving goals" is what Stephen P. Robbins said when asked about leadership. One definition of leadership is the capacity to inspire others to work together to achieve common goals. The development of school culture in order to achieve commitment in achieving the expected standards needs to be continuously carried out in a culture of quality. Employee performance is a benchmark for an organization or company in assessing the success of an organization. The Secretariat of the Pan Faction of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia is the main activity of the agency to evaluate the performance of employees and the board. There are problems in this study, namely errors in work, the amount of work that is overloaded because it is not supported by unbalanced human resources, then the problem of missed communication. The purpose of this study is to know and analyze how employees perform at the Secretariat of the Pan Faction of the House of Representatives. This study uses the theory of T.R. Mitchell (1978) in Sedarmayanti (2001) the indicators used in this study are service quality, communication, speed, ability, initiative. This research method uses qualitative descriptive techniques with data collection from interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study show that the principle of service quality in employee performance pays attention to the servants provided in doing work. In the principle of communication, employees can easily carry out good communication so as to make it easy to be able to understand the goals and words given by employees, but there are still shortcomings in communication, namely missed communication. In principle, speed in doing work as a whole is good enough, where the work is carried out on a schedule that has been set in the planning. In principle, the ability of employees is able to use computer facilities well, but sometimes they are still not careful in their work, causing errors such as data input. Initiative in doing their respective jobs is quite good where employees do not procrastinate work, and help other teams in completing work.

Based on the preliminary study, it can be seen that the Japanese Language MGMP in Central Java is facing problems regarding the teaching of Japanese pronunciation. Many students pronounce Japanese incorrectly causing communication to not go smoothly. For example, when pronouncing the word ojiisan (おじいさん) which means “grandfather”, but pronounced with a short sound ojisan (おじさん)which means “uncle”. In addition, when pronouncing the word “ame” (雨)which means “rain” which should be pronounced with a high accent at the beginning, it is pronounced with “ame” (飴)with a high accent at the end, so the meaning changes to “candy”. Teachers have difficulty teaching it. To overcome the partner's problems, a workshop was held with the aim of providing knowledge about using the OJAD website and Tsutaeru Hatsuon. Through this workshop, high school Japanese teachers in Central Java can improve their ability to master and apply Japanese pronunciation, especially on Japanese accent, intonation and rhythm, then teach it to students.
