Biodiesel, which is generally defined as monoalkyl esters from plant and animal fats, is an alternative fuel that has the potential to be used as a substitute for diesel fuel because of its characteristics. Used cooking oil or used cooking oil haD the potential to be processed into biodiesel and this study aims was to produce waste cooking oil into biodiesel from the results of the pre-treatment process of used cooking oil with bagasse waste, to find out the optimum result of the oil pretreatment proces and the raw material used was used cooking oil from the Rocket Chicken Food Court restaurant. Waste from sugarcane bagasse was useful as an adsorption process for the purification of used cooking oil which was able to reduce free fatty acid levels, water content, and impurities levels for the biodiesel process. The optimum particle size of bagasse waste for used cooking oil pretreatment was 30 mesh, with the analytical data was 1.93%  of free fatty acid, 0,0018 % for water content and 0,03% of firt level. The results of the Biodiesel analysis from the pre-treatment process were the viscosity was 5.7 Cst, the density was 860 kg/m3 and the acid number was 0.8 mg KOH/g oil. This result was accordance to the indonesian national standard No. 04-7182-2006.

Cooking oil is an important basic ingredient in the frying process with the main function as a heat conductor, adding savory taste, increasing nutritional value, and heat of foodstuffs. If cooking oil is used many times it becomes less good for consumption, this is because the fatty acids contained will be more saturated and will change color Used cooking oil that has been used is called used cooking oil. Used cooking oil is oil that has been used more than two or three times frying, and is categorized as waste because it can damage the environment and can cause a number of diseases. So the use of used cooking oil is carried out by reprocessing it for the manufacture of solid soap. The participants of this activity were PKK mothers in one of the villages in Gresik, this activity consisted of discussions, demonstrations and direct practice. The results of this service activity show that community members are very enthusiastic about participating in this activity, as can be seen from the many questions they ask and their desire to participate in this activity. The practice and demonstration are intended to provide skills to the participants in determining the right formula in making laundry soap from used cooking oil. Once these activities take place, it is hoped that the development of the talents they have learned in the future will result in financial rewards.

Used cooking oil is oil that has decomposed fatty acids at certain limits so that it becomes unfit for use. Used cooking oil is obtained from the process of cooking or heating food using oil repeatedly and at high temperatures. The behavior that is often carried out by the community is that after being used repeatedly, the used cooking oil will be immediately dumped into the ground, ditches, pipelines or waters. This can result in environmental pollution in the form of death of aquatic biota, organisms in the soil, closing soil pores, contaminating groundwater and even increasing COD and BOD in soil and water. This type of community service is classified as expert service, namely community service carried out by lecturers in accordance with their field of knowledge, in this case through training activities in the pursuit of waste cooking oil using practical methods. The results of this service increase knowledge of the physical characteristics of cooking oil damage, the dangers of repeated use of oil, knowledge of waste used cooking oil management, and increased knowledge of waste used cooking oil utilization
