The 2025 Real Work Lectures use the Berdampak model (Real Work Lectures based on Community Impactful). The theme of our group's Community Service Program is the problem of household waste management in Bakalan Village, Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency, which requires proper handling. Open burning of waste causes air pollution and other adverse effects. In an effort to overcome this problem, KKN students have initiated the use of used barrels as a place to burn waste with minimal smoke. This program includes observation and socialization related to innovative technology in waste management. Through this activity, the community is introduced to the use of trash cans that reduce smoke pollution and produce briquettes as an alternative fuel from combustion residues. The program results show an increase in community awareness of waste management and the potential for reducing negative environmental impacts. This innovation opens up opportunities for the community to become a model of independent and sustainable waste management, which can be applied in other villages.

This community service was carried out in Margaluyu Village, Kasemen District, Serang City. This community service program was prepared based on the problem of increasing the amount of household plastic waste in Margaluyu Village which until now has not been managed optimally. As an innovative effort in handling this problem, the community service team held a training activity on making wind hole breeze breeze blocks using mixed materials in the form of shredded plastic and silica sand. This community service program not only focuses on efforts to reduce the level of environmental pollution, but also directs inorganic waste to be processed into building materials that have aesthetic value as well as high benefits for local residents. The activity was carried out with a focus on strengthening the role of youth groups and fathers as the main drivers of the creative economy at the village level. In the demonstration session, participants were invited to directly practice steps ranging from plastic sorting, the enumeration process, to roster printing techniques that require high precision. In addition, the team also provided technical assistance and simulations of production cost calculations so that participants understood the potential economic value of the product. Participatory discussions were conducted to explore field challenges, while the final evaluation showed an improvement in the participants' skills and environmental awareness.

This study aims to find out the collaboration of actors in waste management in landfills (TPA). This study uses descriptive research using qualitative research methods and using Ratner's (2012) theory which includes Identification of Barriers and Opportunities, Debate Strategies to Influence, and Collaborative Action Planning. There were 5 informants in this study. The results of the study show that the collaboration that occurs in waste management has gone well, but there are still obstacles in overcoming existing problems. To identify obstacles and opportunities, there are situations and needs as well as resources that must be met, the collaboration that occurs between the Environment and Hygiene Agency and the head of waste management and b3 waste has been running but is not optimal enough due to the lack of resources in facilitating infrastructure facilities at landfills. Debate strategies to influence and increase public awareness and understanding require socialization related to understanding how to manage waste properly. The Head of the Environment and Hygiene Agency together with the Head of the B3 Waste Management Division have collaborated with the Mutiara Timor Waste Bank in providing effective socialization to reduce the volume of existing waste, but many people do not understand the socialization. Planning this cooperation action, there is a collaborative implementation strategy where the actors collaborate in planning the right implementation strategy to reduce the volume of waste in the landfill, but the collaboration between the Head of the Environment and Hygiene Agency and the Mutiara Timor Waste Bank has targeted 20% in handling the volume of waste, but the cooperation is only 5% that can reduce the volume of waste in the landfill because the socialization provided is still not understood by the Public. For the purpose and purpose of this cooperation is the target in reducing and handling waste from 2018-2025, if this cooperation runs effectively and successfully, slowly the volume of waste in landfills will decrease by itself.

The increase in consumption of plastic bottled drinking water (AMDK) has led to an increase in the amount of plastic waste that requires special handling. One of the main challenges in managing this waste is the process of cutting plastic cup rings, which has been done manually using a cutter or small knife. This manual method is not only less effective but also increases the risk of injury for waste pickers. This research aims to develop a safer and more effective plastic cup ring cutter. Through a socialisation programme and implementation of the tool at Bank Sampah SiHatin, the effectiveness of the tool was tested by comparing the manual method and the use of the cutting tool. The results of the analysis show that the use of this tool is able to increase the cutting speed by 58%, produce more uniform cuts, and eliminate the risk of injury due to the use of cutters. In addition, this tool also improves occupational safety and health (K3) aspects and has a positive impact on the economic value of cutting products. Thus, this innovation is an effective solution in plastic waste management in the informal sector and can be adopted more widely in various other Waste Banks

This research analyzes the implementation of Regional Government policy in the form of Payakumbuh Mayor's Instruction Number: 01/Instruction/Wk-Pyk/2023 concerning Waste Management. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely a case study approach, observation or observation and in-depth understanding of the phenomenon being studied, documentation and interviews with related parties such as traders in traditional markets, residents around the TPS and cleaning officers from the Payakumbuh City Environmental Service. . The research results show that the main obstacle is the community's unpreparedness for the Regional Government's policy to manage waste independently, as a result of the closure of the Payakumbuh Regional TPA due to the impact of the landslide disaster. Another inhibiting factor is that education about waste management has not been thoroughly provided to the community and the lack of support for the facilities needed as well as the application of sanctions and appreciation to the community in waste management. Adequate training and skills are needed, the application of sanctions and partnerships between local governments with the private sector and other social institutions in the promotion and sale of waste recycling products, so that the community is not only independent in waste management but also helps the government in solving waste handling problems.

In this modern era, handling environmental issues such as climate change and waste management is becoming increasingly crucial. The Waste Bank Program in South Rejowinagun plays a central role in the Climate Village initiative, aiming to increase community awareness of waste management through sorting and recycling. This initiative relies on active community participation to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills and lower greenhouse gas emissions, thereby contributing to environmental cleanliness and climate change mitigation. Apart from positive ecological impacts, the Waste Bank also creates economic opportunities for the community by implementing a waste "savings" system, where each separated type has monetary value. The methods used, including lectures, counselling and training, are designed to educate the public, including PAUD children, about the importance of effective waste management. Although this program has shown positive results, challenges like a lack of public understanding remain. To overcome this and increase program effectiveness, a more intensive educational approach and strengthening collaboration networks between communities are needed.

In daily life, waste is something that is always there. Finding out about the current waste management system in Medan Krio, Sunggal subdistrict, and Deli Serdang district is the goal of this study. Qualitative research using a descriptive observational design is the methodology employed. The study employed various research techniques, including field surveys, participant-led focus groups, open interviews, and literature reviews. Representatives from the Environmental Agency, village heads, village representative bodies, youth organizations, and village organizations were among the participants in this study. The study's findings indicate that the village's waste management is still inadequate. This is because there isn't enough land to erect temporary shelters, the infrastructure and facilities are still subpar, and there is still a low level of public awareness of the significance of proper waste management. A budget for the purchase of land that will be used for temporary housing should be included, along with recommendations for routine village clean-up schedules and socialization about proper and ethical waste management.

Health problems and environmental pollution can arise due to increased waste. Tengah-tengah Village is a village located on the coast where the problem is that most households do not have a rubbish dump and still throw rubbish around the house. The increasing amount of waste from day to day can cause a buildup of waste and result in environmental pollution. To reduce the amount of waste in Central Village, waste recycling is needed, especially plastic waste. One way to recycle plastic waste to make it attractive is to make paving blocks. The method used in this service is field visits in the form of providing outreach to the community and training in making paving blocks from plastic waste. The results of waste processing and how to make paving blocks from plastic waste received very good enthusiasm.
