This study aims to analyze the dynamics of urban growth, land use change, and settlement development in Wamena City during 2020–2025. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach using satellite imagery and population data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Jayawijaya Regency. The analysis was conducted through satellite image interpretation to identify land use changes and the expansion of built-up areas. The results indicate that the built-up area in Wamena City increased from 1,250 hectares in 2020 to 2,012 hectares in 2025. Meanwhile, the population increased from 44,315 people to 49,102 people during the same period. Land use changes were dominated by the conversion of open land into residential areas and other urban facilities. Settlement growth generally followed the main road networks, city center, and areas surrounding Wamena Airport. Population growth, urbanization, economic activities, and infrastructure development were identified as the main factors influencing urban growth dynamics in Wamena City. These conditions resulted in reduced open spaces and increased urban density.

Pigs hold significant economic, social, and religious value in the Wamena community, becoming an integral part of their customary law. However, the Muslim minority in Wamena faces unique challenges, as they struggle to balance local traditions with Islamic law. This study aims to explore the interpretation of Ahkām verses among minority Muslims in Wamena and analyze the Islamic laws regarding the sale and purchase of pigs in this context. The research is qualitative, combining observations and literature studies. It examines the issues surrounding pig transactions in Wamena and reviews relevant Ahkām verses along with scholarly opinions. The study identifies four patterns in the religious understanding of Wamena Muslims: traditional religion, formal religion, rational religion, and a precursor method that combines traditional practices with reasoning and revelation. Tafsir Ahkām offers solutions for minority Muslims by considering the systematic approach to Ahkām verses, hadith, and the school of jurisprudence. Despite the prohibition of pigs in the Qur’an and hadith, Wamena Muslims’ engagement in pig transactions can be analyzed using fiqh aqalliyyāt principles, such as ijtihād tarjīhi and ijtihād ibdā’i, with an emphasis on gradual implementation and accommodating Islamic and customary laws for minority Muslims in Wamena.

As a buffer for districts in the Central Mountain region of Papua, Wamena has also become a center of economic and government activity so that Wamena needs shopping facilities on a large scale in order to meet the needs of its population, therefore it is necessary to plan shopping facilities on a larger scale such as supermarkets. The purpose of this study was to plan the Upper Structure of the Berlantai Tiga di Wamena Supermarket Building. The planning of this supermarket includes plates, beams and columns. The tools used in this planning are ETABS v.19, AutoCad and Microsoft Office. The location of the building is on Jalan Trikora Wamena, Papua. The result of the structural design uses the Special Moment Bearing Frame System (SRPMK). Using concrete quality (f'c) = 25 MPa and reinforcement quality (fy) = 420 MPa. Floor slabs are used 170 mm thick and roof slabs with 130 mm thick. The beam uses B1 300 x 400 mm, B2 300 x 350 mm, B3 250 x 300 mm. The columns in the design measure 600 x 600 mm.

Abstract: Wamena is one of the areas with the potential to develop a wide variety of food crops and plantations in large and medium quantities because it is supported by its natural conditions. Wamena, especially throughout Jayawijaya Regency and even other Regencies in the Central Highlands of Papua, are known for their organic farming. In order to support and maintain the productivity of organic farming systems, as an academic activist in the agricultural sector, it is necessary to conduct training on making organic fertilizer through the use of banana weevils known as Local Microorganism Fertilizer (MoL). This training was based on observations of farmer groups in the Wesaput district, where all farmers in the farmer groups had never used organic liquid fertilizers or inorganic fertilizers as additional nutrients to increase the growth and production of their agricultural products. Therefore we try to provide understanding and approaches to farmer groups through community service on how to make Local Microorganism Liquid Fertilizer in order to increase the yields of local farmers in the Wesaput District, especially the village of Kama. As a result of this activity, we saw that the farmer group community in Wesaput gave a good response so they asked for similar activities to be carried out again so that the farmer group community was more independent in making and using liquid organic fertilizer using the natural resources around them.
