This study seeks to investigate the direct impact of digital transformational leadership on employee engagement and to analyze the mediating function of work-life balance within higher education institutions in Medan. A quantitative methodology was utilized, employing a survey technique with a structured questionnaire disseminated to professors at higher education institutions in North Sumatra Province. The study's population and sample consisted of 120 permanent academics in North Sumatra Province. We utilized a questionnaire to collect data and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze it. The findings indicated that digital transformative leadership exerted a favorable and significant impact on lecturer engagement. Nonetheless, work-life balance was not demonstrated to be a significant mediator or moderator in this relationship. This study demonstrates that within the framework of digital transformation, professor engagement is more significantly affected by leadership practices than by perceptions of work-life balance. Digital leadership that works can give teachers more power and make them more interested, but problems that come with the digital invasion need to be handled carefully. This study suggests that companies, particularly higher education institutions, should prioritize the enhancement of digital leadership capacity to sustain and elevate employee engagement in the digital age.

Contemporary churches face various crises ranging from declining congregation numbers, internal conflicts, to loss of societal relevance. Many church leaders struggle to mobilize congregations to actively participate in church restoration and growth. This research aims to identify Nehemiah's leadership principles in Nehemiah 2:17-18 relevant for mobilizing congregations facing crises and to formulate a Nehemiah-based leadership model applicable for church leaders. Using qualitative library research methods with exegetical approach and content analysis, this study found six main principles: dependence on God, clear vision, shared problem identification, inspirational communication, congregation empowerment, and perseverance in facing challenges. The formulated leadership model is holistic-integrative, encompassing spiritual, intellectual, social, and managerial dimensions with a fluid leadership approach adaptive to dynamic contexts. This model can help church leaders transform congregations from apathetic to motivated and actively participating in church restoration.

The integration of charismata and stewardship serves as a foundational framework for transformative leadership that is relevant to the contemporary church. This study examines how the synergy between charismatic expression and stewardship practices can strengthen church leadership that is transformative, inclusive, and adaptive to the challenges of the present age. The research employs a literature review and case study approach, accompanied by thematic analysis of interview data and relevant documents. The findings indicate that the integration of charismata and stewardship fosters positive change within the life of the church and the wider community, while also supporting spiritual growth and active congregational engagement in ministry. The theological and practical implications of this integration are far-reaching, contributing both to the reinforcement of Christian leadership identity and to encouraging churches to develop leadership models that are transformative, innovative, and creative.

The purpose of writing this article is to determine the intersection of transformational leadership with visionary and situational leadership. This research uses a type of library research. Library research is research carried out by reviewing various journals and related reference books. The results of his research show that the transformative leadership model is a leadership model that can be an alternative to be applied in the current organizational system with various organizational dynamics and changes in line with the increasingly high demands of society. This is in line with the need for leaders who are able to bring about change. Transformative leadership is a leadership model that is different from traditional leadership models which view the relationship between leaders and employees (leadership and followership) as based solely on reward and punishment. A visionary leader is also understood as a leader who has a clear vision and mission in the organization. He has the ability to predict future events and express them in a clear and measurable vision and mission. Visionary leaders are able to raise the enthusiasm of their members with their motivation and imagination, to make the organization more alive and growing. Another situational leadership model is known as the Situational Contingency leadership model which revises the behavioral approach which is considered unable to explain ideal leadership. This approach illustrates that the style developed depends on the leader himself, the support of his followers, and a conducive situation. By analyzing the basic motivations of their subordinates, leaders can place them in appropriate situations. Transformative, visionary and situational leadership models have several elements in common, both in terms of systems, processes and objectives of Islamic Education Management. From the system side, there are elements of education unit leaders, educators, education staff, and various other elements; It is hoped that they can synergize in a process that is conducive to achieving goals.
