This article critically examines the training program document for mentors of First Communion candidates at St. Paul Pringgolayan Parish as an institutional religious text. The study employs Peter L. Berger’s theory of the social construction of reality and Michel Foucault’s discourse analysis of power as its analytical framework. Using a qualitative interpretive method, the research conducts an in-depth textual analysis of the document’s narrative structure, normative language, actor relations, and mechanisms of legitimation. The findings reveal that the text is not merely a plan and report of pastoral activities; it also functions as an institutional apparatus that reproduces religious reality while shaping subjects of faith through pedagogical, ritual, and administrative systems. This article argues that pastoral documents can be understood as pastoral social technologies that operate through language to structure religious experience, regulate the distribution of authority, and instill norms of faith practice. These findings contribute to the sociology of religion by demonstrating how faith formation practices at the local level constitute a concrete locus of interaction between the construction of religious meaning and the operation of discursive power.

Postoperative pain is a prevalent condition encountered by patients after surgical interventions and may negatively influence physical recovery as well as psychological well-being when inadequately managed. Conventional pain management strategies that primarily depend on pharmacological agents may lead to undesirable side effects, thereby emphasizing the importance of complementary non-pharmacological approaches. One intervention increasingly applied in nursing care is guided imagery. This review aimed to systematically evaluate the effectiveness of guided imagery in alleviating pain intensity among postoperative patients. A scoping review methodology was employed, with article identification guided by the PICO framework across national and international academic databases. Eligible studies included full-text research articles published within the past five years, written in either Indonesian or English, and specifically examining the use of guided imagery in postoperative settings. A total of ten studies met the inclusion criteria and were subjected to in-depth analysis. The results consistently demonstrated a significant reduction in pain intensity following the implementation of guided imagery across various surgical procedures, including cesarean delivery, appendectomy, fracture surgery, cholelithiasis, and abdominal operations. The intervention, delivered for 10–20 minutes per session, effectively reduced pain levels from moderate to severe to mild, with statistically significant outcomes (p < 0.05). Moreover, guided imagery was found to enhance patient relaxation, comfort, and psychological stability. These findings indicate that guided imagery represents a safe and effective non-pharmacological nursing intervention that can be integrated into evidence-based postoperative pain management.

Background: Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) represent a global public health challenge. The increasing number of Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) cases is a serious concern worldwide. A lack of education or minimal knowledge, along with risky behavior, contributes significantly to the high STI rates, particularly among the young age group. Purposes: The objective of this study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the major types of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)—namely Gonorrhea, Hepatitis B, HIV/AIDS, Syphilis, and HPV—by identifying their risk factors and determining the most effective prevention strategies. Method:The researchers employed a literature review method. The data search process was conducted systematically on Google Scholar, limiting sources only to articles available in full text and having open access. Results: The literature review concludes that the factors of knowledge, attitude, behavior, and age significantly influence an individual's risk of contracting Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). Therefore, prevention efforts must be carried out comprehensively, encompassing promotive (awareness enhancement), preventive (prevention), curative (treatment), and rehabilitative (recovery) activities. Practically, this prevention must include sexual health education, adoption of safe sexual behavior, implementation of routine health checks (screening), and vaccination (specifically for Hepatitis B and HPV). Conclusion: Overall, controlling the spread of STIs requires active and collaborative roles from all parties—including the government, health workers, and the community. The main key to suppressing the spread and burden of STI diseases in the community is through improving appropriate sexual health education, improving access to health services, and periodic health screening.

The purpose of this study was to understand the effect of using Canva-based learning media on the creativity of eleventh-grade students in economics. The background of this study stems from the low level of student learning creativity caused by the minimal use of innovative and engaging media in the learning process. Creativity is an important aspect in economics learning because it encourages students to think critically, create solutions, and understand abstract concepts more contextually. Static and monotonous learning media such as blackboards and textbooks often do not sufficiently stimulate student interest and participation. Therefore, a more interactive and visual approach is needed, one of which is using Canva. Canva is an online graphic design platform that allows teachers and students to easily create presentations, infographics, and other visual materials. Using Canva in learning can provide a more enjoyable learning experience and motivate students to be actively involved. This study used a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. Data analysis was carried out by comparing creativity scores before and after treatment. Student creativity was measured using a test instrument that included aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The study subjects were 34 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Tulungagung. The results showed a significant difference in scores between the pretest and posttest results, indicating that the use of Canva-based learning media had a positive impact on increasing student creativity. Students became more active in expressing ideas, more daring to experiment with concepts, and better able to present learning outcomes visually and attractively. These findings support constructivism theory, which states that effective learning occurs when students actively construct knowledge through meaningful experiences.

Unexplained infertility remains a significant clinical challenge, defined by the inability to conceive despite normal findings in standard fertility evaluations, including ovulation, tubal patency, and semen analysis. Intrauterine insemination (IUI) has emerged as a preferred first-line treatment for these cases due to its minimally invasive procedure, cost-effectiveness, and ease of administration. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of IUI in improving pregnancy outcomes among couples with unexplained infertility through a comprehensive literature review spanning the last ten years. A total of 20 peer-reviewed articles were analyzed, sourced from PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar. The selection criteria included full-text availability, English language, and direct relevance to IUI and unexplained infertility. The review encompassed randomized controlled trials, cohort studies, observational research, and meta-analyses. The majority of studies reported positive outcomes, particularly when IUI was combined with ovulation induction agents such as letrozole or clomiphene citrate. Notably, pregnancy success rates were highest during the first three cycles of IUI treatment. Several factors were identified as key predictors of IUI success, including maternal age under 35 years, the presence of multiple mature follicles, optimal endometrial thickness, and good sperm parameters. Additionally, the psychological and emotional support provided to couples undergoing IUI played a role in treatment adherence and outcome satisfaction. In conclusion, IUI represents an effective and pragmatic initial treatment for couples with unexplained infertility, especially when guided by individualized protocols and clinical indicators. Proper patient counseling and realistic expectations regarding success rates are essential. Further studies are recommended to explore long-term outcomes, cost-benefit ratios, and comparative effectiveness with other fertility treatments such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Efforts to realize the implementation of good medical records require supporting elements in the form of medical record folders with a design that meets standards. Medical record folders protect patient documents and simplify the process of identifying, storing, and managing health data. Based on the results of observations at the UMSIDA Physiotherapy Clinic, the medical record folder used is still simple, only made of ordinary paper without a logo, name, clinic address, or columns for writing patient identity and medical record number. This condition has the potential to cause obstacles in the administration and security of patient data. The purpose of this research is to redesign (redesign) medical record folders based on anatomical, physical, and content aspects to make them more professional and functional. The methods used include needs analysis through interviews with users, evaluation of old designs, and the creation of new designs. The redesign was carried out by adding heading elements in the form of the name and address of the clinic, introduction in the form title or medical record folder, and instructions in the form of the text "Confidential Documents." On the body, the patient's identity is contained such as full name and medical record number. From the physical aspect, the folder is designed in the form of a portrait with a size of 21.5 cm × 33.0 cm, using white 260 grams of ivory paper with a blue background. Meanwhile, the content aspects include the identity of the health service facility, the writing "Confidential Document," the patient's name, medical record number, and year of visit.
