This study examines the influence of work discipline, training, and motivation on employee performance at PDAM Tirta Ayu, Tegal Regency. In a public service organization such as PDAM, employee performance is crucial to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen institutional competitiveness. A quantitative survey method was used with questionnaires distributed to all 115 employees using a saturated sampling technique, as the entire population was included. The independent variables analyzed were work discipline (attitude, compliance with rules, responsibility), training (materials, methods, instructor competence, duration, facilities), and motivation (intrinsic and extrinsic). Employee performance, as the dependent variable, was measured using indicators of work quality, work quantity, teamwork, and problem-solving ability. The data were processed through multiple linear regression to assess simultaneous and partial effects. The research findings revealed that work discipline, training, and motivation each have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, but for training has a positive and insignificant effect, this is shown by the significant results of each significant level for work discipline sig value = 0.000 (<0.05), training sig value = 0.632 (>0.05) and motivation with sig value = 0.000 (<0.05). These results highlight the importance of strengthening employee discipline, implementing well-structured and sustainable training programs, and fostering sustainable motivation strategies. This research provides practical implications for PDAM Tirta Ayu management in designing policies to improve overall employee performance, thereby improving service quality and organizational competitiveness.

Crystal guava has a promising market potential due to its relatively high demand, especially in various supermarkets—both in small towns and major cities across Indonesia—and its selling price is relatively stable. Crystal guava has several advantages compared to other guava varieties, including a fresher and sweeter taste, a crunchy texture, thick flesh, and being almost seedless. It is relatively easy to cultivate, has a high harvesting frequency, and tends to bear fruit throughout the year regardless of the season. Therefore, farmers in Karanggondo Village, Tegalsari District, Banyuwangi Regency, have begun cultivating it as a monoculture crop since 2012. Considering this situation, it is deemed interesting to conduct research on the financial feasibility of a Crystal guava plantation investment project under a monoculture system per hectare in Banyuwangi Regency. The research results show that the investment project is financially “feasible.” However, if production volume and product price decrease by up to 48.96%, and variable operating costs increase by up to 79.02%, while other factors remain constant, the Crystal guava monoculture plantation investment project per hectare in Banyuwangi Regency becomes financially “unfeasible.” Among these factors, the decline in production volume and selling price are found to be relatively “more sensitive” in influencing the project’s financial feasibility.

Poverty is a multidimensional issue that not only involves economic limitations but also reflects violations of fundamental human rights such as the right to food, health, education, decent employment, and socio-political participation. This study aims to analyze the legal innovations implemented by the Tegal Regency Government in formulating poverty alleviation policies based on budget efficiency. Using an empirical and philosophical approach, this research views law not only as an ideal set of norms but also as a dynamic social phenomenon within society. The findings reveal that legal innovation is manifested through the strengthening of juridical aspects in regional policies, the integration and synergy of four flagship poverty alleviation programs, and the implementation of the initiative “One Regional Apparatus, One Assisted Village,” which involves all elements of local government. In addition, active community participation and the utilization of corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds from regional and state-owned enterprises serve as crucial supporting factors in enhancing the sustainability and effectiveness of poverty alleviation programs in Tegal Regency.

Hypertension is one of the most common non-communicable diseases, with a high incidence rate that has become a major global health concern. It is often referred to as a “silent killer” because many patients are unaware of their condition until serious complications arise. In Indonesia, the prevalence of hypertension is relatively high, yet many sufferers remain undiagnosed or do not receive proper medical treatment. Several risk factors contribute to hypertension, including age, heredity, high-salt diet, obesity, lack of physical activity, and unhealthy lifestyles such as smoking and alcohol consumption. Without proper management, hypertension may lead to severe complications such as stroke, heart failure, and chronic kidney disease. Management of hypertension generally involves pharmacological therapy, such as the administration of antihypertensive drugs, as well as non-pharmacological interventions through lifestyle modifications. Nurses play a crucial role in patient education, monitoring, and preventing complications through comprehensive nursing care. The purpose of this study is to describe the nursing care provided to Mr. R, who experienced a cardiovascular system disorder, namely hypertension, in the Dahlia Ward of RSUD dr. Soeselo, Tegal Regency. The research method used was descriptive with a case study approach, allowing for a systematic and clear presentation of the patient’s condition. The case findings showed that the patient’s main complaint was a headache radiating to the nape of the neck. Based on nursing assessment, two nursing diagnoses were identified: acute pain and lack of knowledge regarding the disease and its management. Interventions were determined using national standards such as SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI, which are expected to reduce symptoms and improve the patient’s understanding of hypertension.

Disorders of the musculoskeletal system encompass a wide range of conditions affecting the bones, joints, and muscles. Bone-related disorders include osteoporosis, fractures, spinal deformities, osteopenia, osteomalacia, Paget’s disease of bone, osteopetrosis, achondroplasia, osteogenesis imperfecta, and osteomyelitis. Joint-related disorders consist of arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, tendon injuries, tennis elbow, and carpal tunnel syndrome, while muscle disorders include myalgia, fibromyalgia, muscle injuries, muscular dystrophy, muscle atrophy, cramps, and spasms (Astuti et al., 2024). Fractures may lead to complications in surrounding tissues, such as soft tissue edema, bleeding into muscles and joints, joint dislocation, nerve damage, vascular injury, and tendon rupture (Rumapea, 2024). A patellar tendon rupture occurs when the fibrous tissue connecting the patella to the quadriceps muscle tears, and complete ruptures typically require surgical repair. The objective of this study was to design and implement a nursing care plan for patient A, who underwent post-operative management of a patellar tendon rupture in Mawar Ward 2 at RSUD dr. Soeselo, Tegal Regency, in 2025. This study applied a descriptive case study method. The findings revealed that the main complaint reported by the patient was pain in the left knee. Three nursing diagnoses were identified: acute pain, impaired physical mobility, and risk of infection. Nursing interventions were structured based on standardized guidelines from SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI, enabling systematic implementation. The results highlight the importance of comprehensive and evidence-based nursing care to optimize recovery outcomes for patients with post-operative tendon rupture.

Mammary tumor is a condition where an abnormal mass or lump forms in the breast, caused by excessive and continuous cell reproduction. This condition often develops unnoticed and can be dangerous if not promptly treated. In 2018, the incidence rate of breast cancer in Indonesia was 136.2 per 100,000 people, making it one of the most common cancers in Southeast Asia, ranking 8th in the region. If untreated, mammary tumors have the potential to spread to other parts of the body, and in many cases, can be fatal for the patient. One of the common medical treatments for mammary tumors is surgery. This surgery aims to remove the tumor and prevent further spread. In this context, the role of nurses is critical, as according to Orem's theory, nurses have the responsibility to help improve the health status of patients, especially in situations where patients are unable to perform self-care. In such cases, nursing assistance is necessary to ensure that the patient can undergo proper post-operative care. This study aims to provide an overview of nursing care for patients with post-operative right mammary tumor in the Mawar 2 room at RSUD dr. Soeselo, Tegal Regency. The nursing care provided includes several important steps: patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation of care, and evaluation of the care outcomes. This research uses a descriptive case study design, offering an in-depth view of the nursing approach applied to patients after mammary tumor surgery. With this approach, the study aims to provide clearer insights into the role of nurses in supporting patient recovery and improving the quality of care in hospitals.

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Sebelas Maret, Group 217, conducted in Tegalweru Village, Dau District, Malang Regency, was designed to strengthen local economic capacity through strategies of value-added product development and the consolidation of MSME identity based on village potential. The socio-cultural homogeneity of the community, which largely depends on traditional agriculture, creates a paradox between strong social solidarity and weak economic diversification. This condition poses challenges such as limited innovation, low competitiveness, and the underutilization of local resources, thereby necessitating empowerment interventions capable of transforming traditional economic practices into more adaptive and sustainable business models. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation to explore community responses to training on product value addition, packaging, branding, and basic promotional strategies. The findings reveal increased awareness and enthusiasm among MSME actors and housewives to develop local products through simple processing, representative packaging, and distinctive brand identity. These results underscore that KKN not only serves as an implementation of the Higher Education Tri Dharma but also as a strategic empowerment instrument to reinforce the foundation of community-based economic independence. Practically, the program provides a transformative platform for local enterprises, laying the groundwork for sustainable economic development aligned with both global dynamics and the specific needs of rural communities.
