This study aims to analyze the cultivation process and marketing management strategies of ornamental plants applied by Ganda Nursery as one of the MSMEs in the horticulture sector. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that Ganda Nursery has succeeded in implementing sustainable ornamental plant cultivation techniques, including through the selection of superior seeds, the use of organic planting media, and pest control based on botanical pesticides. From a management aspect, Ganda Nursery utilizes digital marketing strategies through social media such as Instagram and WhatsApp to expand market reach and increase sales. This success cannot be separated from the application of sustainability principles and Islamic values ​​that emphasize the importance of managing natural resources wisely and responsibly. The obstacles faced include fluctuations in market demand, business competition, and limited resources, but are overcome by product innovation and improving service quality. This study is expected to be a reference for other MSMEs in developing sustainable and highly competitive ornamental plant businesses.

The problem of plastic waste has become a global issue that impacts the environment. In Sinar Bhakti Village, awareness of plastic waste management is still low, especially among children. This community service activity aims to provide education on utilizing used plastic bottles as a medium for growing ornamental plants to children in Sinar Bhakti Village. The method used is a participatory approach, directly involving children in the process of transforming used plastic bottles into planting media. The activity began with an introduction to the negative impacts of plastic waste, followed by training on plastic bottle processing techniques, and ended with practical activities of planting ornamental plants. The results of this community service showed that children were able to understand the importance of plastic waste management and practice creating planting media from used plastic bottles. Additionally, this activity enhanced creativity, environmental awareness, and a sense of responsibility among children. This activity is expected to contribute to reducing plastic waste and introducing the concept of recycling from an early age while creating a greener and more beautiful environment in Sinar Bhakti Village.

This community service activity aims to develop ornamental plant agribusiness in Bangun Sari Village, Tanjung Morawa District, North Sumatra, through the use of digital technology and increasing understanding of business legality. Bangun Sari Village has great potential in cultivating ornamental plants, but is still limited in terms of using technology for marketing and business management. Therefore, this activity involves training and workshops that focus on the use of social media and e-commerce platforms to expand market reach, as well as providing knowledge regarding the importance of business legality. The results of this activity show that the majority of participants succeeded in adopting digital technology to market their products more efficiently, increase their awareness of the importance of business legality, and expand their market network to outside the region and international markets. Thus, this activity not only improves digital skills, but also encourages significant social change, with agribusiness actors starting to see the potential of ornamental plant agribusiness as a professional and sustainable business. In the future, it is hoped that the application of digital technology in ornamental plant agribusiness will become more widespread, provide new economic opportunities for society, and support the sustainable growth of the agribusiness sector at the local and national levels.

Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan ruang terbuka hijau yang berpasir menjadi taman mini yang asri. Ruang terbuka hijau merupakan sebuah tempat terbuka di alam bebas yang berisi dengan tatanan tanaman hias, tanaman peneduh yang dapat memberikan kesejukan pagi pengunjung. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara ke beberapa aparatur desa dan masyarakat. Berkaitan dengan pengabdian ini memberikan hasil yang efektif terhadap estetika lingkungan dan kenyamanan masyarakat. Namun dalam konteks menciptakan udara yang sejuk, pengabdian ini belum memberikan hasil yang maksimal sehingga perlu adanya tindak lanjut untuk kedepannya.

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of orchid ornamental plants in South Tangerang, especially in the context of opportunities and challenges faced by local producers. Conducted in December 2023, this study took objects from 10 housewives cultivating orchid ornamental plants in South Tangerang City. The method used is descriptive qualitative, by conducting in-depth interviews and observations of local producers to understand the marketing strategies they use, as well as identifying opportunities and challenges faced in marketing their products. The results showed that local producers used a variety of marketing strategies, including local exhibitions, online sales, and cooperation with local florists. However, there are several challenges faced, including limited market access, price competition with imported products, and lack of understanding of digital marketing. In-depth discussions are conducted to evaluate effective marketing strategies and overcome the challenges faced. The implications of this research highlight the importance of developing innovative and adaptive marketing strategies for local producers in the face of increasingly fierce market competition. Recommendations include improving market access through cooperation between local producers, training on digital marketing, and improving local product branding to increase competitiveness in local and international markets. Thus, this research contributes to strengthening the local orchid cultivation sector in South Tangerang.

The Entrepreneurial Student Development Program (P2MW) is a program to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in higher education institutions held by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa) and the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Ditjen Diktristek RI). This P2MW activity provides opportunities for students who already have business ideas to become entrepreneurs, by providing support through financing, development and coaching. This program has stages of selection and training (coaching) which are expected to have a positive impact on students starting to develop their knowledge and skills in becoming entrepreneurs. Students at the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya have the opportunity to take part in this program with an innovative effort to use coconut tree waste to make high-value coconut bonsai ornamental plants based on Sociopreneurship to also support the government in the G20 Presidency program and have the same goals as several SGDS points. This P2MW is located on the 17 August 1945 Surabaya University campus as the beginning of the process of creating and developing innovative designs which will then be competed at the KMI EXPO 2023 National level which is located at Undiksha Bali.
