The internationalization of the Indonesian language and culture has become a crucial strategy in strengthening cultural diplomacy in the Southeast Asian region, particularly through the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program. As a strategic partner country, Thailand hosts several universities that offer BIPA programs, including Chiang Mai University. However, a key challenge in implementing BIPA instruction abroad is the limited availability of contextual teaching materials that specifically reflect the richness of Indonesian culture. This study aims to examine the process and outcomes of a training program on the development of BIPA teaching materials based on Solo Batik for students at Chiang Mai University as a concrete form of Indonesia’s language and cultural internationalization. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through participatory observation during the training sessions, semi-structured interviews with facilitators and participants, and document analysis of the teaching materials developed. The findings reveal that the training not only enhanced students’ understanding of the structure and functions of the Indonesian language but also fostered their appreciation of the cultural values embedded in the motifs, philosophy, and production process of Solo Batik. The students successfully produced creative, contextual, and learner-oriented teaching material prototypes, such as visual modules, interactive dialogues, and culture-based worksheets. These findings highlight the importance of integrating local culture into the development of BIPA teaching materials as an effective strategy for expanding the global reach of the Indonesian language. Consequently, this training serves as a collaborative model that can be replicated in other countries to support the sustainable internationalization of Indonesia’s language and cultural policies.

This study aims to observe the phases of mitosis in the meristem cells of shallot roots (Allium cepa) through microscopic observation as part of the Cell Biology learning model. Mitosis is an important part of the cell cycle that plays a role in growth, tissue repair, and asexual reproduction in organisms. A deep understanding of the mitosis process is an important foundation in various branches of biology, including genetics, biotechnology, and histology. Shallot roots were chosen because they have actively dividing meristem tissue at the root tip,as well as a large and transparent cell structure that facilitates the staining and observation process. Preparation was carried out by soaking the onion roots in a solution of acetic acid and alcohol for fixation, then staining with acetocarmine acid so that the chromosomes are clearly visible. The process of crushing the root tip and pressing it on a glass object (squash method) was used to expand the observation area. A light microscope with a magnification of 400x and 1000x was used to identify the division phases. Observation results show the presence of all phases of mitosis, namely prophase (nucleolus and nuclear membrane begin to disappear, chromosomes condense), metaphase (chromosomes line up at the equator), anaphase (chromatids separate to opposite poles), and telophase (nuclear membrane and two daughter cell nuclei re-form). Visual documentation in the form of microscopic photographs and descriptive tables clarify the identification of these phases, thus facilitating student understanding. From a pedagogical perspective, this microscopic practicum-based learning has been proven to improve students' observational skills, laboratory skills, and conceptual understanding of cell division. Students not only memorize theories, but directly experience the scientific process through exploration and discussion of observation results. Evaluation of learning outcomes is carried out through post-practicum quizzes and student worksheets, showing an increase in understanding scores of more than 30%.

The rapid development of technology requires education to adapt to more interactive learning innovations. One manifestation of this is the availability of various digital learning tools, including electronic learner worksheets (E-LKPD) based on Liveworksheet. However, many teachers have not optimized this interactive media, resulting in a lack of interactivity in learning. This study takes a research and development approach with the 4D development model: defining, designing, developing and disseminating. The aim is to identify the development procedure, feasibility, and practicality of electronic LKPD based on Liveworksheet. Research data were obtained through validation sheets from experts, as well as teacher and student response questionnaires in small and large group trials. The validation results showed a very high level of feasibility. Material validation reached 97%, media validation 97%, and language validation 93%, all in the “very feasible” category. Meanwhile, the level of practicality was also very satisfactory. Teacher responses reached 93.3%, indicating that they considered this media to be very practical. Similarly, students' responses; the small group trial obtained 96.3%, and the large group trial obtained 94.2%. Based on the results of the teacher and student response questionnaires, it can be concluded that the Liveworksheet-based electronic LKPD is very practical to be implemented in the learning process.

The purpose of implementing Community Service (PkM) is to overcome the problems faced by community service partners, namely difficulties in learning accounting for class XII SOS students at SMAK St. Darius Larantuka. This activity is also a follow-up to the previous study entitled "Analysis of Difficulties in Learning Accounting for the Sub-Material of Service Company Worksheets for Class XII SOS Students at SMAK St. Darius Larantuka in the 2024/2025 Academic Year". The form of community service carried out is training and assistance in compiling worksheets for service companies. The participants involved were 20 students from class XII SOS 2. This activity was carried out in three stages, namely: 1) delivery of material regarding worksheets for service companies, 2) practice of compiling worksheets, and 3) evaluation of work results. The material was delivered collaboratively by the economics subject teacher, Mr. Abel Andisolo Sogen, S.Pd, and the community service lecturer, Mrs. Maria Fatima B. Beribe, M.Pd. In the practice stage, participants were asked to compile worksheets based on the case studies that had been submitted. During this process, participants were assisted by the service team until they achieved the expected results. To measure the participants' abilities and skills in compiling working papers, they were then asked to complete different case study questions independently. The results of the participants' work were analyzed using qualitative analysis methods, which showed an increase in understanding and skills during independent practice compared to during mentoring. This is reflected in the scores obtained by the participants, which ranged from 85 to 95, and reached the target of 90% of what the service team wanted. However, there were several participants who had difficulty in compiling working papers due to lack of accuracy in the calculations, so that the calculation results in the Balance Sheet column were not balanced.
