Stigma toward people with mental disorders affects not only individuals living with mental illness but also the psychological well-being of family members who serve as their primary caregivers. Families often experience social rejection, discrimination, and negative stereotypes, which increase emotional and psychological burdens while reducing the quality of care they provide. This study aimed to explore the impact of stigma on the psychological well-being of families caring for people with mental disorders in Pamekasan Regency. A qualitative study using a phenomenological approach was conducted involving 11 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis to identify participants' lived experiences. The findings revealed one overarching theme, namely the negative impact of stigma, which consisted of three categories: effects on family members, family relationships, and patients. Stigma generated feelings of sadness, anxiety, psychological distress, sleep disturbances, social withdrawal, family conflicts, and changes in family interactions with patients. These experiences negatively influenced caregivers’ emotional well-being and their ability to provide optimal support for family members with mental disorders. The study concludes that stigma has a substantial adverse impact on the psychological well-being of family caregivers and the quality of care provided to people with mental disorders. Therefore, comprehensive interventions focusing on stigma reduction, community education, and strengthening psychosocial support systems are essential to improve family resilience and promote better mental health outcomes.

This research aims to analyze how gender and culture are represented in the Grade VIII Indonesian language textbook of the Merdeka Curriculum. The focus is on various aspects of gender representation, such as the depiction of characters, their roles, activities, attributes, social status, gender equality, and stereotypes related to gender. Additionally, the study explores cultural representation, which encompasses cultural forms, diversity, local traditions, context, ways of presentation, and the cultural values expressed in the textbook's texts and illustrations. The methodology employed is descriptive qualitative research with a content analysis framework. Data were gathered through documenting and note-taking methods on the content of the textbook, followed by an analysis process that includes identification, classification, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. Findings indicate that the gender representation in the textbook predominantly portrays men as leading figures in public roles, leadership, and decision-making, whereas women are mainly shown in nurturing, domestic, and supportive capacities. On the other hand, the cultural representation illustrates the variety of Indonesian culture by showcasing regional customs, languages, art forms, traditional cuisine, practices, and societal norms. The study concludes that although the textbook presents cultural diversity adequately, there is a need for improvement in gender representation balance to better reflect equality values in the educational experience.

 This study examines women’s transformational leadership in educational institutions through a systematic literature review approach. The increasing involvement of women in leadership positions in schools and universities has attracted academic attention to understand their contribution to organizational development and the improvement of educational quality. This study aims to synthesize recent empirical research findings on women’s transformational leadership in education. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing relevant studies published between 2021–2026 through academic databases such as Google Scholar and ScienceDirect using the keywords “transformational leadership,” “women leadership,” and “education or school.” After a selection process based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, 15 empirical articles were analyzed. The findings indicate that female leaders tend to demonstrate transformational leadership characteristics, including inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, idealized influence, and individualized consideration. These leadership practices positively affect teacher motivation and performance, organizational commitment, organizational climate, and learning innovation. However, women in leadership positions still face challenges such as gender stereotypes, structural bias, and social expectations regarding gender roles, indicating the need for institutional support and more inclusive policies.

This study examines the social realities of Iranian society, often misrepresented in international media that focus on politics, conflict, or conservatism. Using a sociological and humanistic perspective, it highlights everyday practices of courtesy, social norms, and traditions. The taarof ritual a unique form of politeness is discussed as a vivid example of how Iranians foster social harmony, respect guests, and demonstrate solidarity. The article also considers the impact of formal and customary law on social behavior, alongside the interplay between tradition and modernity in urban and rural contexts. Field observations and literature review suggest that Iranian society maintains high levels of courtesy and social cohesion, challenging common stereotypes. This research aims to enrich cross-cultural understanding and provide a more nuanced view of social life in Iran.

Inclusive education and gender equality are two essential components in creating a learning environment that is fair, equitable, and responsive to student diversity. This article presents a systematic review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach on 28 scientific articles published between 2019 and 2025. The research objective is to map the trends, implementation strategies, barriers, and opportunities for strengthening inclusive education with a gender perspective at the primary and secondary education levels. The results of the analysis indicate that the successful implementation of inclusive-gender education is closely related to gender-responsive teacher competence, family–community support, equitable school policies, and differentiated learning designs. The study also reveals that gender bias and stereotypes remain significant obstacles, while GESI/GEDSI training and pedagogical innovations have proven effective in improving the quality of inclusive education services. This review recommends strengthening the capacity of educators, reformulating school policies, and developing a gender-responsive curriculum as central strategies for achieving sustainable inclusive education.

School leadership plays a strategic role in improving educational quality through effective management, the creation of a positive school culture, and the achievement of learning outcomes, while women’s participation in educational leadership continues to face structural and cultural challenges related to gender stereotypes. This study aims to analyze the leadership styles of female principals at SMK Negeri 1 Penawar Tama and SMK Negeri 1 Banjar Margo, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and examine the strategies implemented to improve school quality. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with principals, teachers, and students as research subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, passive participatory observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using interactive qualitative analysis techniques involving data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through triangulation and member checks. The results indicate that female principals apply a combination of democratic-participatory, transformational, visionary, humanistic-communicative, and professional exemplary leadership styles. These leadership practices are reflected in inclusive decision-making, open communication, moral exemplarity, and strategic programs oriented toward student competence and institutional development. Supporting factors include strong personal commitment, high discipline, a conducive school climate, and stakeholder support, while inhibiting factors consist of limited infrastructure, policy changes, internal differences of opinion, and gender-based social pressures. The study concludes that, despite existing obstacles, female principals are able to implement adaptive and participatory leadership strategies that foster a positive work climate, enhance school community involvement, and contribute significantly to improving the quality and sustainability of vocational education.

This research is entitled “Women’s Representation in Political (Analysis of the Low Number of Elected Female Legislative Members in the Sabu Raijua Regency DPRD in the 2024 Election).” The low representation of women in politics is a significant issue in various regions, including Sabu Raijua Regency. This study aims to analyse the low representation of women in politics and the factors that hinder women from becoming legislative members in the Sabu Raijua Regency DPRD in the 2024 elections using Gender Theory, which focuses on three derivatives of the theory, namely gender issues, gender ideas, and gender representation. The results of the study show that the obstacles faced by women are not only related to individual capabilities, but are also the result of social constructs influenced by gender issues, gender ideas, and gender representation. Women are often faced with domestic burdens, financial constraints, and a lack of training from political parties, which limits their political capacity. Patriarchal customs also reinforce the notion that men are more suitable for leadership, while women are seen as quota fillers. As a result, representation is more symbolic than substantial, as evidenced by the fact that only two women have won seats in the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), one of whom was through the PAW mechanism. Barriers include traditional norms, gender stereotypes, and social legitimacy; lack of support and strategy from political parties; and financial constraints and campaign capital.
