PT. XYZ is an international company operating in the energy sector, especially oil and gas, with a focus on fabrication and construction activities for large-scale projects. One of the main production processes that is very influential is welding. To ensure welding quality, PT. XYZ uses the Non-Destructive Testing – Ultrasonic Testing (NDT-UT) method. However, during the inspection process, problems are often found in the form of rejects due to defects that do not meet welding quality standards. Some types of defects detected include LOF (Lack of Fusion), LOP (Lack of Penetration), and ESI (Excessive Spatter Inclusion). This research aims to determine the percentage of the most dominant welding defects, identify factors that cause defects, and provide recommendations for improvements to improve welding quality. The method used is Statistical Quality Control (SQC) with the help of tools such as check sheets, histograms, Pareto diagrams, scatter diagrams, control charts and fishbone diagrams. Based on the data collected, a LOF defect of 5,434 mm was found, an ESI defect of 1,990 mm, and an LOP defect of 1,030 mm. SQC analysis shows that the dominant defect is LOF with a percentage of 64%. The main causal factors come from methods, humans, machines and materials. Therefore, companies need to make improvements and developments to reduce product defects so that they can improve welding quality.

Quality is an important factor for consumers in choosing a product, so maintaining or improving product quality is important for companies to compete and satisfy consumers. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) face challenges in maintaining product quality and therefore require an effective quality control system, one example is Pak Sifa' Fried Tofu UKM in Jombang. By using primary data obtained through interviews and direct observation, Statistical Quality Control (SQC) methods such as check sheets, stratification, scatter diagrams, histograms, control charts, Pareto diagrams, and cause-and-effect diagrams are used for data analysis aimed at identifying types dominant defects in fried tofu products and their causes. The research found that the dominant defect in fried tofu production was split tofu defect with a defect rate of 52.921%. Factors that cause split tofu defects include human factors, methods, measurements, machines, materials and the environment. This research highlights the need for SMEs to prioritize quality improvement strategies, particularly addressing dominant defects and their root causes. Implementing SQC tools can help SMEs improve product quality and reduce defects.

The problem faced by the Bmrsign Wallgallery company is that products are found that do not match the specifications set by the company. The types of product damage are wrong size frames, broken frames, and uneven corners. To solve this problem, the SQC method is used to reduce the causes of defects in the product. The purpose of this method is to reduce the risk of damage to the product. The object studied was Bmrsign Wallgallery with a sample of 29 days. The use of the SQC method is accompanied by analysis tools in the form of control charts (p-charts), Pareto diagrams, cause and effect diagrams (fishbone). Based on the results of data analysis implementing the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method using the P-Chart control map, the largest value of the Upper Control Limit (UCL) can be shown as 0.272, while the Lower Control Limit (LCL) is -0.013. The results show that the number of defective products during the frame making process is still within normal control limits. The analysis using the Pareto diagram shows that the types of frame defects are dominated by broken with a percentage of 35% or a total of 66 pcs, inappropriate size shapes as much as 33% or a total of 62 pcs, and uneven corners as much as 32% or a total of 60 pcs. Based on the results of the fishbone diagram analysis, defective products are caused by workers who are not focused, work standards are not adhered to, machine maintenance is not given attention, and there is a decrease in the quality of raw materials.

MSMEs Gethuk Anyar is an industry operating in the culinary sector, the problem faced is the company's difficulty in maintaining the quality of the gethuk products it produces. This research aims to find out how quality control is implemented using statistical tools in an effort to control the quality and level of product damage at Gethuk Anyar MSMEs in Ngawi. Quality control analysis uses tools in the form of check sheets, cause and effect diagrams, Pareto diagrams and control charts. The results of the control chart analysis show that production is in an uncontrolled state. This can be seen from the control graph where the points fluctuate very highly and irregularly. Based on the Pareto diagram, priority repairs need to be made for the dominant types of damage, namely hard defects (59%), soft defects (27%), burnt defects (10%). From the analysis of the cause and effect diagram, it can be seen that the factors that cause damage originate from human/worker factors, work methods, production machines, work environment and raw materials so that companies can take preventive and corrective action in order to reduce the level of damage and improve product quality.

The Pukun Kuala Tanjung rice factory is a rice factory located in Pematang Tobat village, Sei Suka subdistrict, Batubara district. The Pukun Kuala Tanjung rice factory has been operating for fifteen years in milling rice into rice. In operating the Pukun Kuala Tanjung rice factory, it can produce 25 tons of rice/week. In carrying out the rice production process at the Pukun Kuala Tanjung rice mill, we often find that the rice produced does not match the quality of production, including the color of the rice being less than good (yellow), rice that is not peeled and crushed, which can lead to a decrease in the quality for sale and even unsalability. rice on the market so that the Pukun Kuala Tanjung rice factory experiences losses in producing rice. The aim of this research is as follows: to know how to control the quality of rice using the SQC (Statistical Quality Control) method, to find out the quality of rice produced by the Pukun Kuala Tanjung rice factory is still in good condition. controlled or not. This research uses descriptive quantitative research both when collecting and processing data where the data collected is data on defective rice products and data processing will be carried out using the SQC (Statistica Quality Control) method. From the data processing that has been carried out in this research, the author draws the following conclusions: Rice quality control using the SQC (Statistical Quality Control) method can be seen as follows: Based on the control chart, it is known that defective products are not within the upper control limits (Upper Control Limit) and Lower Control Limit which can mean that a defective product requires repairs to be made to the defective product.

Black pink shrimp is a type of small shrimp with light brown characteristics to resemble the color of small milk coffee, which is 2-4 cm in length. The purpose of this study was to determine the Quality Control of Black Pink Shrimp (Metapenaeus monoceros) with the Statistical Quality Control method. The data analysis used is quantitative analysis. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is control map analysis (P Chart). The data collection methods used are observation, and literature study. The sample used was black pink shrimp. The results showed On the control map p it is known that the value of the upper control limit / Upper Control Limit (UCL) is 1.08, the average P is 0.659, and the value of the lower control limit / Lower Control Limit (LCL) is 0.21. UCL and LCL values are used as guidelines to define a process within control limits. Based on the graph, it can be seen that the production process of frozen shrimp products is still not under control because there are two samples that are beyond the upper control limit, namely in the 8th week and 13th week samples. The control carried out if there is a decrease in quality in the product, namely, telson butts and clubs of two segments are transferred to broken products and QC ensures that the SOPs applied run properly and correctly.
