Lightning has always been a dangerous threat to the equipment of electric power systems consisting of: power plants, substations, transmission lines and distribution lines. Generally, overhead high-voltage transmission lines are exposed to lightning strikes. Therefore, the degree of protection against lightning is determined based on the degree of insulation of the equipment. To prevent damage to equipment due to lightning strikes, arresters are used. In this study, three arrester models were used as comparisons, namely. IEEE arrester model. The system was simulated using Alternative Transients Program (ATP) software. The results showed that the lightning rod was declared successful in protecting the transmission system, where the three lightning rods had a Margin Protection (MP) of arresters that reached 28%. In the simulation, it is known that the IEEE arrester successfully cut off the lightning current in the transmission system so that the transient overvoltage recorded on the transformer does not exceed the Basic Insulation Level ((BIL) trafo.

As payment for conducting the audit, the auditor will impose audit fees on the entity being audited. A number of variables, such as the task's complexity, the level of skill needed to complete it, the pay scale for knowledge development programs, and other professional considerations, affect the fees that auditors charge to do audits. The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of audit fees for the Indonesia Stock Exchange's banking subsector between 2021 and 2022 on corporate risk, internal audit function, and board of commissioners independence. The study's population comprises firms that have been indexed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for a certain timeframe, spanning from 2021 to 2022. Purposive selection was used to pick data from 100 banking subsectors that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the study sample. In this study, quantitative analysis is used. The Eviews 12 software was used to conduct the analysis. The findings of the partial test indicate that the audit fee is influenced by the risk of the internal audit function and the independence of the board of commissioners, but that company risk and board independence have no effect on the audit fee.

This research was carried out to determine the factors that influence telecommunications equipment, ship  crew resources, ship seaworthiness and pilotage of cruisers at Bukit Batu port. Data collection was carrie d o ut th r o u gh observation, literature study, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Th is research uses a non-probability sampling technique, namely the ce ns u s me th o d . The data analysis used in this research is descriptive and quantitative analysis. The data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of th e Statistical Pack age For Social (SPSS) version 25 software. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the research model of the multiple linear regression equation is Y= -0.219 + 0.308.X1 + 0.200.X2 + 0,192.X3 + 0.349. X4 + µ. Where the variables Safety (Y), Telecommunication Equipment (X1), Crew Resources (X2), Ship Seaworthiness (X3) and Guidance (X4) were tested using the t test showing that the four independent variables partially have a significan t influence on consumer decisions as the dependent variable. The Adjusted R Square figure of 0.837 shows that 83.7 percent of consumer decision variables can be explained through the four independent variables in the regression equation. Meanwhile, the remaining 16.3 percent is explained by other variables outside the four variables used in this research.

Idle time or disturbing time is time wasted while the ship is moored is a classic problem that has not been solved in Indonesia. Tanjung Emas Port is the busiest port in Semarang City, Central Java, which is a stopover center for providers of sea transportation facilities and infrastructure in the context of loading and unloading means the transfer of cargo from and onto ships to be stockpiled into or directly transported to the place of the owner of the goods through the port dock using loading and unloading complementary equipment. This study aims to determine the effect of port services, ship engine tools, and loading and unloading productivity, on Idle Time at Tanjung Emas Port Semarang. The population in this study were ship crews from the deck departement division and the sample used in this study was 119 respondents. And do not use the sampling technique because the number of samples is the same as the population, then the data is analyzed using multiple liniar regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package (SPSS) Version 26. The formulation of the regression in this study is as follows: Y= 0,597 + 0,368X1 + 0,356X2 + 0,213X3 + m. From this equation it is know that the most dominant variable influencing Idle Time is the port Service variable with a regression coeffient of 0.368. The R2 test ( R The ) obtained a result of 0.443 or 44.3%, which means that Idle Time is influenced by the variable port Services, Loading and Unloadng Speed, and Ship Machinery Equipment which is equal to 44,3% and other factors that affect Idle Time Tanjung Emas Port Semarang, namely 100%.

This research uses the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm to predict Persebaya Surabaya's ranking in BRI Liga 1. The data used includes goals scored, goals given away, total end-of-season points, and status as champions. The results of the analysis using Orange software show that Persebaya Surabaya does not necessarily become a champion if it has a point value of 42 and an SVM value of 41. To become a champion, Persebaya Surabaya must score 69 points or more in a season and achieve an average of more than 54 goals per season. The suggestion of this research is to have more data so that the results of data processing using Orange software are more optimal and accuracy is more precise.

World civilization with very rapid changes in various countries is characterized by the unlimited use of information systems based on computing and big data. Information technology utilizes computers and computer software to convert, store, process, protect, transmit and obtain information securely. Designing an administrative service information system to assist students and final assignment coordinators in the registration process, filing requirements and submitting titles for final assignments and obtaining supervisor assignment letters. Therefore, this problem can be solved by building an information system design for final assignment administration services that will be implemented in the Industrial Engineering Study Program, namely SIMENTARI (Industrial Engineering Final Assignment Management Information System). In this research, the SIMENTARI design method used was waterfall. The waterfall method suggests systematic and sequential software development starting from the highest system level and continuing to the analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance stages. The existence of a SIMENTARI Information System can make it easier for the Final Assignment Coordinator in the Industrial Engineering Study Program to serve students who will submit their Final Assignments more easily and systematically and the data entered by the user can be stored neatly in the system. In this research, the tools used to create a SIMENTARI information system were Xampp and Php MySQL software.

Focusing on computer literacy, technological proficiency, and sociocultural influences, our qualitative descriptive approach seeks to unveil the intricate dimensions of contemporary maritime education. The assessment of computer literacy reveals varying competencies, urging the need for a tailored curriculum. While basics like office software and digital navigation are strong, disparities in data analysis proficiency call for targeted interventions. The implications highlight the necessity for a stratified curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive skill set in line with modern maritime demands. Cadets overwhelmingly endorse technology's role in enhancing education, signalling a paradigm shift. Positive attitudes towards online resources, digital simulations, and e-learning platforms advocate for an institutional embrace of cutting-edge tools. Recommendations focus on faculty development and increased technology integration, promising an enriched pedagogical landscape. The exploration of sociocultural influences uncovers a delicate balance between tradition and the necessity of English proficiency. Nuanced strategies are essential to integrate diverse cultural backgrounds. Recommendations call for cultural awareness initiatives and language support programs, aligning the institution with the global orientation of maritime education. In qualitative insights, cadets express a collective desire for a more intentional curriculum, particularly in incorporating cultural perspectives. This aligns with the broader scholarly discourse advocating for holistic education. Proposed avenues include workshops, seminars, and collaborations with cultural experts, providing a roadmap for curriculum development congruent with the diverse needs of Semester 1 cadets. This research, rooted in rigorous academic inquiry, serves as a guide for the Maritime Institute, steering its trajectory towards producing technologically adept professionals who are equally culturally astute, ready to navigate the complex global maritime landscape.

The city of Medan is famous for its many historical buildings scattered throughout the city. The building has a magnificent colonial architectural design. The building's character and unique architectural details make this building different from the others. But it is a shame that these buildings cannot enjoy their beauty at night. Lack of artificial lighting received by the building. This research aims to obtain an overview of people's visual comfort, especially at night. The method used is a qualitative method to understand phenomena experienced by research subjects such as perceptionand by means of descriptions in the form of words and language, in a special natural context. Perceptions regarding the quality of a building's lighting are largely determined by the impression a person has when they see it, either directly orindirectly (using image media or a computer screen). To facilitate the visual description of building lighting at night, modeling was carried out using Enscape software. The results of this research are that the London Sumatra (Lonsum) building has a Dutch colonial architectural style. Some of the characteristics of Dutch colonial architecture found in Lonsum buildings include: verandas that protrude into the street corners, stained glass with geometric motifs on the verandas, marble ceiling and floor tiles, cast iron balustrades on balconies and stairs, art ornaments deco in the interior, such as geometric hanging lamps and beautiful doors. Lonsum is a plantation company founded in 1906 by Harrisons & Crosfield Plc, a general trading and plantation management services company from London, England.

Pemodelan Gelombang pada Pelabuhan Marapokot, Kab. Nagekeo, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur melingkupi Kawasan pantai (coastal area) hingga perairan Marapokot. Penyebaran gelombang dipengaruhi oleh kontur dasar perairan, angin, dan arus perairan dimana pergerakan gelombang ditransformasikan menurut variasi topografi dasar perairan tersebut. Ada beberapa tipe transformasi gelombang, diantaranya: pendangkalan (shoaling), pecah (breaking), refraksi (refraction), difraksi (difraction) dan lain-lain. Pemodelan gelombang ini menggunakan software MIKE21 DLI guna mentransformasikan parameter hasil olah data menjadi pemodelan gelombang yang simultan dengan durasi yang di tentukan. Hasil evaluasi analisa pemodelan gelombang di analisa dan di katagorikan pada kondisi perairan di Pelabuhan Marapokot dominan pada tenggara dengan tinggi gelombang di depan dermaga setinggi 1.65 m untuk arah gelombang dari Utara, 1.20 m arah gelombang Timur Laut, 1.01 m arah gelombang timur, dan 1.42 m arah gelombang timur. Analisa model gelombang Perairan Marapokot dengan Kapal Tanto Sentosa masuk kedalam kriteria Medium Sized Vessel, dengan syarat tinggi gelombang 0.5 meter. Sehingga pelabuhan Marapokot di katagorikan sebagai pelabuhan yang aman untuk tambat dan bongkar muat untuk kedua jenis Kapal Tanto Sentosa berdasarkan acuan OCDI.

Daya dukung tanah merupakan kemampuan tanah dalam menahan tekanan atau beban dari struktur atas bangunan dengan aman tanpa menimbulkan kegalalan ataupun penurunan. Beberapa metode digunakan untuk menganalisis daya dukung tanah, diantaranya yaitu dengan metode Terzaghi, Mayerhoff, Hasen, Vesic, Oshaki dan menggunakan software dengan parameter dan hasil yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbandingan daya dukung tanah pondasi dangkal menggunakan metode Terzaghi, Mayerhoff dan software Plaxis 2D. Data sekunder yang digunakan berupa gambar perencanaan dan data tanah hasil uji labolatorium. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan metode Terzaghi, Mayerhoff dan Software Plaxis 2D diperoleh nilai daya dukung tanah ijin (Qall) secara berurutan sebesar 20,322, 25,612 dan 16,827 t/m2. Berdasarkan hasil daya dukung tanah pondasi dangkal pada metode analitis dan software plaxsis 2D didapatkan bahwa perhitungan daya dukung tanah ijin (Qall) pondasi dangkal metode Meyerhoff lebih besar dari perhitungan metode Terzaghi dan Sofware Plaxis 2D.

This research aims to demonstrate the influence of the effectiveness of image preprocessing-based artificial intelligence technology in detecting the ripeness level of tomatoes on user satisfaction and to discover correlations between them. The applied research method is quantitative, with data collected through the distribution of questionnaires to attendees of the IT Festival 2023 Expo held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the Baranangsiang Campus, IPB. The data analysis methods used include Pearson correlation test, simple linear regression, coefficient of determination test, and T-test using SPSS 25.0 software. The test results indicate that the effectiveness of image preprocessing-based artificial intelligence technology has a positive and significant impact on detecting the ripeness level of tomatoes

The aim of this research is to analyze the processing of user satisfaction data on the IoT-based feed pellet machine monitoring system using the Blynk application among visitors of the IT Fest at the School of Vocational IPB University, majoring in Software Engineering Technology (TPL), Computer Engineering Technology, and Industrial Management from batches 57, 59, and 60. The research method employed in this study is quantitative research using descriptive statistics. The sampling technique utilized is a survey method, and the instrument for data collection is a questionnaire. Subsequently, the analysis of all data is conducted by performing testing stages using measures of central tendency, including mean, median, and mode. Using the Likert scale, conclusions can be drawn from the respondents' answers.

This research was conducted with the aim of discussing the Analysis of the Factors Influencing the Income of Vegetable Farmers in Mekar Jaya Village, Sungai Kaca District, Muara Jambi Regency. The factors or variables used and examined for their effect on income are capital, land area, and price. This research is a quantitative method of multiple linear regression research and uses primary data obtained directly from respondents by filling out a questionnaire. The answers to the questionnaires were tested or analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) 26 software. The results of the research that has been done show that capital partially affects the income of vegetable farmers. Land area partially does not affect the income of vegetable farmers. Prices partially do not affect the income of vegetable farmers. Then based on the results of the f test it was found that simultaneously capital, land area, and price did not affect the income of vegetable farmers in Mekar Jaya Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muara Jambi Regency.

PT Anugrah Alam Manunggal merupakan tempat Bank Sampah (training center) atau tempat pemilahan dan pengumpulan sampah yang dapat di daur ulang yang memiliki nilai ekonomis. Didalamnya terdapat unit untuk training center yaitu unit organik, anorganik dan recidu. PT Anugrah Alam Manunggal meyakini bahwa sampah bukan lagi sekedar barang sisa yang tidak berguna, melainkan sebagai sumber daya yang mempunyai nilai ekonomi dan dapat dimanfaatkan, misalnya, untuk energi, kompos, pupuk ataupun untuk bahan baku industri. Penelitian ini melakukan perancngan aplikasi agar pengguna dapat mengetahui lokasi pembuangan sampah daur ulang yang valid. Metode yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode sistem informasi, dimana didalamnya terdapat informasi mengenai lokasi menggunakan (SIG). Terdapat 9 bank sampah yang telah menjadi mitra PT AAM. informasi terkait pemetaan mitra GSTC menggunakan aplikasi Google maps dan software Blokspot.com. Untuk aplikasi Google Maps digunakan untuk menentukan lokasi dari mitra – mitra yang bekerja sama dengan GSTC sedangkan software Blokspot.com digunakan sebagai sarana informasi untuk bisa mengenal lebih jauh tentang pengolahan sampah

Utilizing digital technology to introduce its products and services to the public at large, especially among people with disabilities (Diskraf). This can be done either through online chat applications (Whatsapp, LINE, telegram, etc.), social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), online stores on various e-commerce platforms (Bukalapak, Tokopedia, Blibli, etc.), own websites, to the use of various applications or other business support software. ESQ Business School (STIMIK ESQ), with the University's tri dharma program namely Community Service, ESQ College of Management Science and Computer Science, the Information Systems study program provides coaching, strategy workshops, and information technology for the management of a business/business. This strategy direction can be used in the future by MSME managers/participants in carrying out their business or business processes. The purpose of this research to effect variations cacao peel ash to parameters mechanical and morphology in making red brick. This research method uses the experiment. The research of characterization compressive strength value a minimum of 29,73 kg/cm2 and maximum of 243,82 kg/cm2. The morphology structure testing with software digimizer a minimum of 0,7985 μm, and maximum of 2,4551 μm. The composition of mixing clay, water, and cacao peel ash by increasing the burning temperature of bricks show the optimum test parameters at the temperature 1000℃ with variation in cacao peel ash is 20% that has the met the standard SNI 15-2094-2000.

This research analyzes various aspects of the role of ICT in the context of the efficiency of organizational support systems. By referring to the latest literature and through relevant case studies, this research identifies that ICT enables business process automation, increased access to information, improved internal communication, and support in more timely decision making. Through the implementation of software, database management systems, collaboration tools, and data security strategies, ICT helps organizations reduce manual work, increase productivity, and reduce operational costs. In a digitally connected global context, ICT also enables organizations to be more responsive to changes in the market and regulatory requirements. This research states that ICT is a valuable asset in improving the efficiency of organizational support systems. Residential is a place to live or everything related to a place to live and in a narrow sense can be interpreted as a residential area or residential building. In connection with the quality of residential facilities, employee satisfaction is an important aspect in improving the quality of the provided residential facilities. If the satisfaction of the residential facilities provided to employees is not met, the employees will feel uncomfortable and will sue the plantation of PTPN IV Marjandi Unit. Analyze the level of employee satisfaction with the quality of the residential provided by the plantation to its employees is The purpose of this study. One of the efforts to find out the satisfaction of employees of residential facilities is to use the C4.5 algorithm classification, where Dataset is obtained through the Questionnaire technique that will be given to employees at PTPN IV Marjandi Unit. As for the satisfaction of employees of residential facilities in terms of aspects (1) water facilities, (2) electricity facilities, (3) kitchen conditions, (4) bedroom conditions, (5) toilet conditions in dwellings inhabited by PTPN IV Unit plantation employees Marjandi. Data processing is assisted using Microsoft Excel software and to validate study data using a rapidminer tool.
