The growing use of smartphones among adolescents carries a high risk of addiction, which can negatively impact physical, mental, and social well-being. To address this issue, a community service program was implemented to conduct early detection of gadget addiction among high school students and provide educational health media to raise knowledge and awareness about excessive smartphone use. The program involved 240 students of SMA Negeri 1 Tuntang and was conducted in three stages: screening, development of educational materials, and health counseling. Screening used the short version of the Smartphone Addiction Scale and revealed that 90% of students were classified as addicted. Prior to counseling, 81.25% of students had low levels of knowledge regarding healthy gadget use, which significantly improved after the intervention, with 83.4% achieving high knowledge levels. Health counseling proved crucial in enhancing students’ understanding and promoting responsible smartphone habits. The program highlights the importance of collaborative efforts by schools, parents, and students to limit smartphone use, encourage physical activity, and foster face-to-face social interactions to support adolescent well-being.

Background: Sleep disorders in adolescents are a significant health problem, with a global prevalence reaching 57.8% and particularly high rates in several cities in Indonesia. Poor sleep quality negatively impacts physical health, such as the risk of cardiovascular disease and anemia, as well as mental and cognitive health. Sleep behavior is influenced by a dynamic interaction between personal and environmental factors, as explained in Social Cognitive Theory (SCT). Research Objective: To identify the determinants of sleep deprivation in adolescents, specifically individual and environmental factors, based on a Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) perspective through a literature review from 2019 to 2025. Method: This study utilized a literature review. To obtain research data, the authors searched for scientific articles through Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect databases, then analyzed 10 articles that met the inclusion criteria, published between 2020 and 2025. Results: Factors significantly associated with adolescent sleep quality were identified, with individual factors being the most dominant determinant (found in 7 studies), including academic stress and smartphone addiction. Furthermore, a positive association was found with environmental factors (found in 4 studies), such as bright lighting, noise, and uncomfortable room temperature. Conclusion: Within the framework of Social Cognitive Theory, adolescent sleep quality is the result of a reciprocal interaction between personal factors (perceived stress and self-control over gadgets), the physical environment, and sleep behavior. Individual factors such as stress and nighttime gadget use reduce self-efficacy for regular sleep, which is exacerbated by an unfavorable environment.

From the results of the smartphone addiction test questionnaire for mobile motoring, it was found that 15 children (50.0%) were not dependent on gadgets, 4 children had mild dependence (13.3%), 3 children were moderately addicted (10.0), and 8 children were addicted. (26.7%). Based on the Chi Square test, it is known that the P Value is 0.004 with α 0.05. Because the significance value is < α, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a correlation between parents and early childhood attachment to gadget addiction at PAUD Intan, Asembagus village kraksaan. The general public must continually be informed of technological developments, such as the use of smartphones, also referred to as "smarphones," in order to be able to complete this role. Large-scale touchscreen cellphones have already been adopted by several countries throughout the world. Additionally, this phenomena was noticed by Cadets from the Polytechnic for Criminal Justice, notably Class 56 for the Correctional Management Study Program. However, there may be certain drawbacks to utilizing a smartphone. The taruna's most obvious practical effect, which resulted in time-wasting tiredness, was a brilliant addiction phone, The researcher did research to comprehend the relationship between the smartphone's kecanduan and the prokrastination of sleep time in the 56th program study of management of the POLTEKIP. This study employs quantitative methods to assess the effects of the independent and dependent variables. The study sample consists of 31 cadets from batch 56 of the POLTEKIP Correctional Management Study Program. The distribution of surveys through Google Forms was done using the random sample data collection technique. Because of the strong association between the variables X and Y revealed by the study's findings, the alternate hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. The study also reveals a weak relationship between procrastinating before bed and smartphone addiction.
