Aspect-based sentiment Analysis (ABSA) is vital in capturing customer opinions on specific e-commerce products and service attributes. This study proposes a hybrid deep learning model integrating Bi-Directional Gated Recurrent Units (BiGRU) and Bi-Directional Attention Flow (BiDAF) to perform aspect-level sentiment classification. BiGRU captures sequential dependencies, while BiDAF enhances attention by focusing on sentiment-relevant segments. The model is trained on an Amazon review dataset with preprocessing steps, including emoji handling, slang normalization, and lemmatization. It achieves a peak training accuracy of 99.78% at epoch 138 with early stopping. The model delivers a strong performance on the Amazon test set across four key aspects: price, quality, service, and delivery, with F1 scores ranging from 0.90 to 0.92. The model was also evaluated on the SemEval 2014 ABSA dataset to assess generalizability. Results on the restaurant domain achieved an F1-score of 88.78% and 83.66% on the laptop domain, outperforming several state-of-the-art baselines. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the BiGRU-BiDAF architecture in modeling aspect-specific sentiment across diverse domains.

This research aims to explore more deeply the phenomenon of slang use among UINSU Public Health students and its impact on social dynamics and the development of their identity. Through a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and participant observation, this research seeks to understand how slang plays a role in forming social bonds, creating a sense of belonging to a group, and influencing the way students interact with each other. Preliminary findings show that slang not only functions as a communication tool, but also as a symbol of identity and a means of expressing oneself. However, on the other hand, the use of slang that is too intense can blur the boundaries between formality and informality, thus potentially hampering the learning process and effective academic communication. Therefore, this research highlights the importance of balancing the use of slang with good and correct language rules, so that students can communicate effectively in various contexts without sacrificing their group identity.

The purpose of this study was to determine the acquisition of slang lexicon by teenagers on the X application, providing insight into language in the modern era, the role of social media in language development, understanding slang in forming individual and community identities in social media, and understanding rapid language changes due to technological developments. Language variety is a variation of language that differs according to the context of use, including the relationship between the speaker and the listener. Slang, as a form of variation that continues to develop, is heavily influenced by social media, especially the X application (formerly Twitter), which is the main platform for teenagers. Through interactions on social media, users learn and absorb new vocabulary quickly, which shapes their social identity. This study used a qualitative approach to analyze the slang lexicon that appears in the application, finding categories such as abbreviations, foreign words, and phonological changes. Although slang enriches communication, there is a risk of reducing the use of formal language that needs to be balanced with language literacy education.

Slang is a rapidly growing linguistic phenomenon among Indonesian teenagers, especially in daily interactions and social media usage. This widespread use of slang is predicted to impact teenagers' formal language skills, particularly in the context of proper and correct Indonesian. This study aims to identify the influence of slang usage on formal language proficiency among teenagers. Using a qualitative approach, this research was conducted through observations and interviews with several students at the Perguruan Indonesia Raya Foundation in Bandung. The results indicate that excessive use of slang can decrease teenagers' formal language skills, particularly in writing and speaking. However, slang can also enrich linguistic variation among teenagers as a form of expression and social identity. Therefore, an appropriate educational strategy is needed to maintain a balance between slang and formal language usage among teenagers

Language allows us to communicate, teach, learn, and maintain culture. Each language has specific grammatical rules and vocabulary, which reflect the values, norms and beliefs of the society that uses it. A dynamic language does not rule out the possibility that more and more users will become creative. However, it is important to remember that changes that are too rapid will have an impact on the continuity of the language itself. This research aims to identify the use of acronyms in prokem language or slang. The research results show that acronyms are increasingly commonly used in everyday life. Acronyms are used to save time and space, and to simplify messages. However, excessive or unclear use of acronyms can confuse readers and hinder understanding of the message. For this reason, there is a need for guidance regarding this acronym.

This research was conducted in Slango village, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi. This research focuses on analyzing the source of rock origin, namely sandstone found in the Peneta Formation. Sandstone in the study area is quite widely distributed with varied characteristics, so determining the original rock is easy to do. This research was carried out to identify the origin of the rock through petrographic analysis of the sandstone so that the history of the formation of the Peneta Formation itself can be reconstructed. After provenance analysis, the Peneta Formation sandstone comes from the Recycle Orogen, precisely in the Subduction Complex Sources subzone. Apart from that, the Peneta sandstone also shows the origin of the Magmatic Arc. Thus, it is interpreted that the Peneta Formation sandstone has undergone several uplift processes due to tectonic activity and has experienced increased maturity or stability from the Continental Block Provenances. Apart from that, it is also influenced by the weathering process of granite heights or other volcanic materials, whether volcanic or plutonic.   Key words: Sandstone, Slango Village, Peneta Formation, Petrography, Provenance
