Marriage preparation courses have become increasingly important for couples who wish to build a strong foundation for their relationships. These courses provide couples with the tools to understand and navigate their roles and responsibilities in a marriage. For Catholic couples, attending marriage preparation courses is seen as an essential step in preparing for a lifelong commitment, in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. According to John Paul II (1981) in Familiaris Consortio, a document that outlines the duties and responsibilities of families, the preparation for marriage should be holistic, addressing not only the emotional and social aspects but also the spiritual and theological dimensions of family life. This study specifically aims to explore the meaning and impact of marriage preparation courses on the happiness of Catholic families at the St. Paul Beganding station. Using a qualitative approach, the research employed a combination of observation, interviews, and documentation techniques to gather data. The study involved 12 informants, including five married couples who had attended marriage preparation courses, one Porhanger (a community leader), and one parish priest under the St. Peter and Paul Kabanjahe parish. The findings reveal that marriage preparation courses had a significant and positive effect on the happiness of Catholic families, particularly those at the St. Paul Beganding station. The course content provided couples with a deeper understanding of their roles and duties as spouses and parents, allowing them to build stronger, more resilient relationships. Participants expressed that the courses helped them address challenges more effectively and fostered a greater sense of commitment and mutual respect. This, in turn, contributed to the overall happiness of their families. Couples who had attended the course reported stronger emotional and spiritual connections, further emphasizing the importance of comprehensive marriage preparation for long-term marital success.

Fasting blood sugar screening is a crucial step in the early detection of metabolic risks, including prediabetes and type 2 diabetes mellitus. This examination is useful for identifying at-risk individuals before clinical symptoms appear. Screening activities are carried out using the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) approach and the Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) tool. The examination was carried out on adult participants, followed by education using leaflets containing information about blood glucose control and the importance of physical activity. A total of 62 participants underwent the examination aged 23–76 years. Most participants were women (74.2%). Fasting blood sugar values ranged from 67.0 to 333.0 mg/dL with a median of 90.0 mg/dL. A total of 75.8% were in the normal category, 16.1% were pre-diabetic, and 8.1% were diabetic. Fasting blood sugar screening revealed a proportion of participants with impaired glucose regulation. These results emphasize the importance of early detection and health education, especially about physical activity which plays a role in increasing insulin sensitivity and lowering blood glucose levels. The combination of screening and education can be a preventive strategy to reduce the risk of diabetes.

Liver dysfunction is a common health issue among the elderly and can significantly impact quality of life, particularly due to its progressive nature and frequently asymptomatic presentation in the early stages. Many older adults are unaware of liver problems, as mild symptoms such as fatigue, abdominal discomfort, or reduced appetite are often perceived as normal signs of aging. The Community Service Program (PKM) conducted at Panti Werdha Hana aimed to raise awareness among the elderly regarding the importance of early detection of liver dysfunction through SGOT and SGPT enzyme screening. This activity employed the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach, including laboratory examinations and interactive counseling on risk factors, healthy lifestyle practices, and the significance of regular health monitoring. Among the 76 participants, 10 individuals (13.16%) were found to have elevated SGOT levels, and 8 individuals (7.89%) had SGPT levels above the normal range. These findings underscore the importance of early detection in preventing the progression of chronic liver diseases, enhancing the quality of life of the elderly, and supporting more effective and sustainable healthcare interventions.

Technological advances that occur in the Globalization Era have a major impact on a person's mental development, especially for High School Students who in their daily activities require updated information to develop their abilities. The activities carried out if not accompanied by an understanding of the dynamics of social change, they will experience problems of Moral Decadence due to the lack of understanding of National and State Awareness. One form that can be done to increase students' understanding of the importance of national and state awareness is through counseling activities. Therefore, the provision of material on understanding the Increase in National and State Awareness to the young generation of Indonesia must always be carried out with the aim that the young generation of Indonesia can understand the positive culture in Indonesia which is very important to implement in order to create unity and unity of the Indonesian nation.

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the developed teaching materials and to describe the results of trials of SEKAMI teaching materials for SEKAMI assistants and children at the Luwuk Bunter Station. This research is supported by the problems researchers experience when carrying out KKN at the station. The teaching materials used were less able to be followed by local facilitators and less attractive to SEKAMI children. This type of research is developmental research. The development of SEKAMI teaching materials uses the ADDIE development stage. The feasibility of teaching materials was assessed in 2 stages by two validators who worked as SEKAMI children's companions at St. Maria Palangkaraya. After the revision, trials were carried out on SEKAMI companions and children at the Luwuk Bunter Station.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pendidikan iman anak yang diberikan orang tua dalam keluarga Katolik di Paroki Santa Maria De La Salette Muara Teweh. Melalui studi ini diharapkan agar para orang tua dapat menyadari hal-hal yang bisa dilakukan untuk dapat mendampingi anak agar mencintai dan memperdalam pengetahuan tentang imannya. Jenis  penelitian  ini  adalah  deskriptif    kualitatif.  Data  yang  diperoleh dengan menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni di stasi Santo Paulus. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 11 orang yang terdiri dari 1 Pastor Paroki, orang tua dan anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Miles and Huberman yang terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikkan kesimpulan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pendidikan iman anak dalam keluarga Katolik menunjukkan bahwa banyak orang tua memberikan pendidikan iman kepada  anak  itu  tentang  cara  berdoa,  memberikan  nasehat  dan  mengajarkan kepada anak supaya hidup baik. Peran orang tua dalam pendidikan iman anak yaitu dengan memberikan kasih sayang, mengingatkan anak untuk berbuat baik seperti mengajarkan anak untuk menghormati orang yang lebih tua dan sesama manusia, dan mengajarkan cara berdoa. Kegiatan pendidikan iman yang diberikan orang tua kepada anak dalam keluarga Katolik, seperti doa bersama, saat makan, doa pribadi sebelum tidur dan mengajarkan doa-doa pokok dalam Gereja Katolik Seperti Bapa Kami, Salam Maria, Aku Percaya dan Tanda Salib. Jadi pada intinya pola hidup, dan cara hidup orang tua menjadi contoh dan teladan bagi anak- anaknya, begitupula dengan kehidupan imannya, orang tua harus terlebih dahulu mengerti dan tau imannya.

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  sejauh  mana  para  keluarga muda menghayati perkawinan Katolik dan apa yang menjadi kebutuhan mereka untuk semakin menghayati perkawinan Katolik di Paroki Santo Petrus dan Paulus Ampah. Perkawinan merupakan bagian terpenting dalam membangun keluarga, namun  banyak  kendala  yang harus dihadapi  oleh  pasangan  suami istri  dalam menghayati perkawinan Katolik mereka. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penulis tertarik  untuk mengkaji  tema  skripsi  tentang penghayatan  perkawinan Katolik bagi keluarga muda Kristiani.   Jenis penelitian ini adalah  penelitian  kualitatif.  Data  diperoleh  melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian di Paroki Santo Petrus dan Paulus Ampah. Informan yang telah diteliti berjumlah 15 orang yang dikelompokan menjadi dua yaitu keluarga muda berjumlah 11 KK dan petugas pastoral  ada  4  yaitu  Pastor  paroki  dan  3  orang katekis.  Analisa  data  dengan menyajikan data, melaksanakan Verifikasi, dan menarik kesimpulan. Langkah- langkah penelitian meliputi penentuan tema, profil informan, percakapan dengan informan, refleksi, implikasi, sintesis dan prospek.   Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sifat dan tujuan perkawinan Katolik sudah cukup dipahami oleh keluarga muda. Penghayatan perkawinan keluarga muda memang sangat perlu suatu keintiman antara suami istri melalui relasi yang baik, akan tetapi masih ada permasalahan yang mucul dalam rumah tangga yaitu komunikasi yang kurang dan ekonomi rumah tangga. Keluarga muda menyadari bahwa betapa pentingnya pendampingan bentuk katekese dan pengajaran mengingat bahwa pendampingan bagi keluarga muda di Paroki Santo Petrus dan Paulus Ampah ini masih belum terlaksana pendampingan keluarga muda secara khusus.  Gereja memang sangat  perlu mengupayakan  pembinaan  lanjutan  bagi keluarga muda dalam bentuk rekoleksi, sharing antara keluarga, dan pertemuan yang berkaitan dengan meningkatkan penghayatan perkawinan katolik bagi keluarga muda.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan  bentuk komunikasi iman umat Katolik di Stasi St. Petrus Runggu Raya Paroki St. Petrus dan Paulus Ampah dalam menghidupi persekutuan. Studi ilmiah ini diharapkan dapat menjelaskan cara membangun komunikasi iman Gereja, baik tenaga pastoral, pengurus Gereja, maupun seluruh umat agar terwujud persekutuan yang kokoh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian berjumlah 10 orang berdasarkan jabatan dalam persekutuan, yaitu pastor paroki, pengurus Gereja, umat, dan orang muda. Proses penelitian melalui tiga tahap, yaitu pra- lapangan, pekerjaan lapangan, dan pasca lapangan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa persekutuan umat Katolik di Stasi Runggu Raya belum kokoh karena kurangnya kesadaran untuk membangun komunikasi iman. Indikator yang ditunjukkan adalah pengurus Gereja dan umat bersikap acuh tak acuh terhadap kepentingan Gereja, sedikit umat yang mau hadir dan terlibat dalam kegiatan persekutuan, lemahnya koordinasi antara petugas pastoral, sesama pengurus Gereja dan seluruh umat. Cara membentuk komunikasi iman umat Katolik di Stasi St. Petrus Runggu Raya agar terwujud persekutuan yang kokoh adalah melalui rapat koordinasi antara pengurus Gereja yang dibimbing oleh tenaga pastoral, membangun kerja sama antara pengurus dan seluruh umat, memiliki sikap terbuka dan kesadaran akan tanggung jawab setiap pribadi sebagai anggota persekutuan, saling melayani dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan menggereja.

The study aims to describe the sacrament of reconciliation as the renewal of the life of faith for the people in  the Stasi of St. Peter Majundre Parish of St.  Paul Buntok. Through this study, people are expected to realize and live the sacrament of reconciliation as a renewal of life in the life of the faithful. The type of research used is qualitative research with data collection techniques using interviews, and documentation. The data processed by 10 informants divided into two parts, namely eight people consisting of people in the Stasi St. Peter Majundre, one person working as the head of the parish in Stasi St. Peter Majundre and also one person working as Parish Priest in St. Paul Buntok Parish. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberman's theory which is divided into three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and inference.

This study aims to find out how the people’s participation  in following the deepening of Scriptures in the Parish of Saints Peter and Paul Ampah.   This research is based on the phenomenon that occurs in the field that the deepening activities of Scripture are still less desirable to the people. The involvement of people in participating in the deepening activities of Scripture in Santo Petrus and Paulus Ampah Parish is still lacking, both before the Covid-19 pandemic and during the current Covid-19 pandemic. The  type  of  research  used  in  this  research  is  descriptive  qualitative research. This research was conducted on May at the parish of Saints Peter and Paul Ampah in particular in four neighborhoods: the neighborhood of Saint Sicily, the neighborhood  of Santa  Maria,  the  neighborhood  of Saint  Joseph  and  the neighborhood of Saint Francis. The informants are 14 people consisting of   1 Parish Priest, 3 Catechists, 4 environmental chairmen and 6 parishioners. Data Collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used  is the model of Miles and Huberman wich consist of three stages, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.

This study aims to determine how important catechesis is in improving the understanding of Catholics, especially the Catechism of the Sacrament  of Penance.  Catechism  as  a  way to  give  understanding  to  the  people  about  the teachings that exist in the Catholic Church. Through this study, it is hoped that Catholics can understand what the Sacrament of Penance is so that the faith of the people will grow and develop. This  type  of  research  is  a  qualitative  research  with  a  descriptive approach. Data obtained by using interviews and documentation. The research was carried out in May 2021 at the St. Petrus Paulus Panaen Station, Santa Maria De La Salette Muara Teweh Parish. There were 7 informants consisting of 1 fellow Pastor, and  6  people.  The data analysis  technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of 3 stages, namely reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.

This study aims to describe the cooperation between catechist and parents in developing the faith of the child in the Stasi of Santo Joseph Batuah, the Parish of Santo Petrus and Paulus Ampah. The reason the researchers raised the title of this study is due to the lack of cooperation between parents and catechisms in developing the faith of children in Stasi Santo Yosef Batuah. This is descriptive qualitative research. Data obtained by interviews and documentation. The study was conducted on May 20 - June 2, 2021. The study was conducted at the Stasi of Saint Joseph Batuah Parish of St. Peter and Paul Ampah with a total of 13 informants. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberman's model of 3 stages, namely reduction, presentation of data, and conclusion withdrawal.

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa penting peran para katekis dalam berkatekese tentang ibadat sabda di Paroki Ampah, sebagai sarana yang dapat membantu  umat  untuk memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup tentang agama Katolik di Paroki Santo  Petrus  dan  Paulus  Ampah.  Melalui studi  ini  diharapkan  agar  para ketekis semakin semangat dan aktif dalam membantu umat untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan iman mereka. Hasil yang didapat melalui penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan oleh penulis, ditemukan bahwa  Katekis  yang berada  di Paroki Santo Petrus dan Paulus Ampah, memberikan   katekese   tentang ibadat sabda kepada umat. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis juga melihat bahwa  katekis yang berada di Paroki Santo Petrus dan Paulus Ampah menggunakan menggunakan metode.

Salah satu dari beberapa tema yang dibahas oleh Santo Paulus dalam surat-suratnya kepada berbagai jemaat yaitu mengenai kesatuan antara Kristus dan Gereja. Apa dasar dari hubungan kesatuan antara Kristus dan Gereja menurut Santo Paulus? Bagaimana Kristus dan Gereja tidak dapat dipisahkan? Mengapa Kristus menghendaki relasi yang utuh dengan Gereja-Nya? Artikel ini akan mencoba melihat dari berbagai perspektif: teologis, soteriologis dan eklesiologis dari tulisan Santo Paulus mengenai Gereja. Selain itu, akan dibahas pula sikap yang tepat untuk mencintai Kristus dan Gereja-Nya, serta sikap Gereja dalam menghadapi tantangan pada zaman ini dengan adanya penyebaran yang semakin meningkat dan luas dari pandemi covid-19.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran katekis dalam memberikan katekese kepada remaja mengenai dampak minuman keras di Stasi Santo Yakobus Penda Asam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi, penentuan topik, profil informan,wawancara dengan informan, implikasi, sintesis, prospek atau kemungkinan  yang akan terjadi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah tidak semua remaja memahami dampak minuman keras kepada diri sendiri dan Gereja. Anak remaja juga belum mengetahui apa yang terjadi sehingga minat dalam kegiatan Gereja kurang aktif, padahal anak remaja punya tanggung jawab sebagai penerus Gereja yang akan datang. Temuan lain dari penelitian ini adalah katekis kurang berperan memberikan kegiatan  katekese dalam  membangkitkan    semangat  anak  remaja dengan harapan dapat membantu remaja yang bermasalah agar semakin aktif. Semua pihak dapat mendukung dan  bekerja sama dengan  katekis atau petugas pastoral memberikan katekese untuk kehidupan Gereja di Stasi Santo Yakobus Penda Asam. Katekese hendaknya berjalan sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan demi mengatasi permasalahan yang ada pada anak remaja. Oleh sebab itu,  menjadi  tugas  para  katekis  supaya  mampu  membangkitkan  minat  dan semangat anak remaja bisa melakukan kegiatan positif.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dominasi pola asuh, kendala yang dihadapi, dan cara yang dilakukan oleh orang tua dalam mengembangkan iman anak di Paroki Santo Petrus dan Paulus Ampah. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada anak yang diduga karena lemahnya pola asuh orang tua. Hal-hal kecil tentang agama yang tidak secara benar ditanamkan oleh orang tua melalui pola asuh dapat menimbulkan permasalahan yang besar di kemudian hari. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian dilaksanakan di Paroki Santo Petrus dan Paulus Ampah.   dengan jumlah informan ada 13 orang yang terdiri dari pastor Paroki, Katekis, guru sekami, orang tua dan anak. Penelitian ini mengunakan teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif analisis data kualitatif model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil  penelitian  ini  menyimpulkan  bahwa  di  Paroki  St.  Petrus  dan     Ampah Khususnya di Stasi Wuran, Kalamus dan Tampa lebih banyak umat yang menerapkan pola asuh permisif. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh umat di Paroki St. Petrus dan  Ampah tua  untuk mengembangkan  iman  anak  yaitu  kurangnya  daya  tarik  anak  terhadap kegiatan  iman,  pengetahuan  iman  orang tua  yang masih  kurang,  orang tua  yang kurang   aktif   dalam   kegiatan   iman   dan   pekerjaan   orang   tua.   Faktor-faktor permasalahan tersebut diatasi dengan memperbanyak kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan gereja, memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan agama Katolik pada orang tua dan memperbanyak kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan aktivitas orang tua dan anak. Kontribusi pola asuh orang tua yang permissive membuka peluang bagi para pekerja   pastoral   dan   gereja   untuk   memberikan   cara-cara   yang   baik   bagi perkembangan iman anak-anak ditengah minimnya pengetahuan, kesibukan dan kurangnya dukungan orang tua.

This study aims to understand, describe and analyze the meaning of family harmony based on the field research with a focus of research that leads to 1) understand about families from the married couples in St. Paulus Datai Nirui, 2) describe the meaning of family harmony according to the couples at St. Paulus Datai  Nirui,  3)  analyze  factors  that  cause  disharmony  in  the  household,  4) describe married couples expectations for further family life. The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done by interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive patterns with stages performed 1) gathering information from the field, 2) Select information through themes that have been sorted and presented using Indonesian, 3) Drawing conclusions. The research was carried out on June 8-22 at the St. Paul Datai Nirui Station in the Parish of Santa Maria de la Salette Muara Teweh. There were 11 informants interviewed consisting of 5 married couples and 1 parish priest.

The purpose of the study was to find out "The Role of Catechists inRegenating Worhisp Leaders for Sunday Service for People at St Theresia Talekoi Parish of Saint Paul Buntok Parish". The method used is a Qualitative Research method with data collection techniques, Observation, and Interview. The data obtained were analyzed using data analysis techniques. The data obtained by the authors from several informants consisting of 9 informants, among others: 4 fathers and 5 mothers from the St Theresia Talekoi station.

This study aims to detetermine how important social media ethics in the life of the catholic family, as a maens to help outgoing Catholic family maintain the integraty of marriage in  the Parish  of Saint Paul Buntok. Through this study, it is hoped that Catholic families use social media well and wisely in the family life, and make social media as communication and catechetical suggestion in this modern era in order to cultivate the faith of others. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. As for the research steps used are : conversations with informants, informant profiles, datermination of themes, reflection, implications, synthesis, prospects or possibilities that will occur. The results obtained through research conducted by the author found that families in the parish of  Saint Paul Buntok did not all know ethics in using social media. Through this reseach, the author also see that families in the parish of Saint Paul Buntok use social media in building good relations and communication

The aim of this research is to know how far the ecology education for the parishoners in the region of St.Ana Maria, Simpang Naneng in St.Petrus  an& Paulus parish, Ampah. Ecological education can help people in maintaining and treating  the environment properly. This is  descriptive qualitative research. Data obtained by observation, interview methods and documentation. The research steps include conversations with informants, informant profiles, determining themes, reflections, implications, synthesis, prospects or possibilities that occur. Information  are pastoral officers, parish priests and some parishioners The results of the study showed that the parishioner’s ecological knowledge was still lacking. It is caused by the level of human resources and also the  limitation of reporting about ecological education  by pastoral officers to the parishioner. In particular, the  church can explain ecological education through catechesis for  people in the region of St. Ana Maria, Simpang Naneng, st.petrus  and Paulus parish, Ampah.
