This study aims to describe the understanding of high school students in solving high, medium, and low category HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) problems and to explore the students' responses in solving problems related to the material of SPLTV (System of Linear Equations with Three Variables). This research is qualitative in nature, using a descriptive method. The subject selection technique used purposive sampling, involving three students from class X IPA/IPS SMAIT Nurul Fajri, with a total of 19 students. The data collection techniques included written tests on mathematical concept understanding using HOTS, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research results, it was found that the students' understanding of mathematical concepts in solving HOTS problems varied. The subject NF-17, with high ability, was able to answer well, including restating the concepts studied in problems 1, 2, and 4, classifying objects based on concepts, applying concepts algorithmically, relating various mathematical concepts internally or externally, providing examples or counterexamples, and presenting concepts in various representations in problems 1, 3, and 4. The subject NF-18, with medium ability, showed more limited results. Although able to restate concepts in problem 4, this subject could only classify objects based on concepts and apply concepts algorithmically in problems 1 and 4. This subject could only provide examples or counterexamples in problem 1. The subject NF-10, with low ability, was only able to restate concepts studied in problem 1 and did not show more in-depth understanding in other problems. These findings indicate variations in students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the SPLTV material.

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in the topic of Systems of Three Linear Equations (SPLTV) at SMA PGRI 4 Jakarta. The research employs a qualitative method with an approach that includes interviews and written tests. The subjects of the study consist of eleventh-grade students selected purposively. The results indicate that students have varying levels of understanding regarding SPLTV problems, with some students facing difficulties in comprehending word problems and applying appropriate solving methods. Nevertheless, most students are able to utilize substitution, elimination, and combination methods in solving problems. The study also finds that students tend not to check their answers, which can affect the accuracy of their results. Therefore, it is recommended that students adopt a more systematic approach in problem-solving and perform checks to enhance their confidence and answer accuracy.

This study was conducted by looking at the low learning outcomes of class X-2 students at SMA Negeri 9 Surabaya in the previous material, namely SPLTV. This study was conducted with the aim of improving students' mathematics learning outcomes in the quadratic equation material by implementing a cooperative learning model of the team games tournament (TGT) type using the help of wordwall. This study is included in classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects of the study used were 36 class X-2 students at SMA Negeri 9 Surabaya. The research data were obtained through pretest, observation, and posttest. The analysis data from the pretest and posttest results were in the form of quantitative data which would be used to determine the increase in student learning outcomes. While the analysis data from the observation results in the form of qualitative data were used as a guideline to improve and perfect learning activities from cycle I to cycle II. Based on the results of the study that has been carried out, it shows that implementing a cooperative learning model of the team games tournament (TGT) type using the help of wordwall on the quadratic equation material can improve the learning outcomes of class X-2 students at SMA Negeri 9 Surabaya. The classical completeness of the pretest cycle I was 44.4%. After the implementation of the TGT type cooperative learning model, there was an increase to 77.8% in the posttest of cycle I. In cycle II, it increased again to 94.6% with a classical completion target of 85%.

Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan untuk penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif. Informasi kuantitatif ini diperoleh dari ujian tertulis yang diberikan kepada siswa. Penelitian ini berfokus pada siswa kelas sepuluh SMA Negeri 1 Tayan Hulu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Tayan Hulu dengan Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel. Berdasarkan hasil respon siswa terlihat bahwa ketidakmampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika bersumber dari mereka terbiasa mengerjakan soal dengan cara menghafal rumus dan langsung memasukkannya, sehingga tidak memenuhi indikator untuk matematika. kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Dengan demikian, tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis di kalangan siswa tergolong rendah. Terdapat tanda-tanda yang belum dipahami siswa yaitu indikator 1 dan 2, sehingga indikator 3 dan 4 tidak dapat dijalankan dengan sempurna.

The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research and the form of research used is a case study with the subject being students of class X IIS 4 consisting of 30 students. The data collection tool used was a learning style questionnaire, a test of mathematical problem solving abilities in the form of 2 essays, and interviews with 6 students, namely 2 students with a visual learning style, 2 students with an auditory learning style, and 2 students with a kinesthetic learning style. Before being used in this study, the questions were tried out to determine validity, discriminatory power, index of difficulty, and test reliability. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of learning styles in SPLTV material as a whole have a percentage of 65% with moderate criteria. The sub-problems in this study are as follows: (1) The mathematical problem solving ability of students with a visual learning style has a percentage of 64.82% with moderate criteria; (2) Mathematical problem solving ability of students with auditory learning style ability has a percentage of 72.92% with moderate criteria; (3) The ability of students' mathematical problem solving with learning styles has a percentage of 61.72% with low criteria.

Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif yang menggambarkan penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan edugame interaktif nearpod terhadap kemempuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk pre-Eksprimental Designs. Alasan peneliti menggunakan bentuk penelitian ini karena peneliti menggunakan satu kelas sampel, dimana satu kelas tersebut akan dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pada kelas sampel pertama akan diberikan tes awal (pre-test) kemudian siswa diberi perlakuan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan edugame interaktif nearpod pada materi SPLTV, setelah itu dilakukan pengukuran terhadap siswa dengan memberi tes akhir (pos-test). Penelitian ekperimen ini menggunakan rancangan One-Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Pada rancangan ini terhadap Pretest sebelum diberikan perlakuan sehingga hasil perlakuan Posttest dapat diketahui lebih akurat, karena membandingkan dengan keadaan sebelum diberikan perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan edugame interaktif nearpod dalam materi SPLTV kelas X MAN Bengkayang berjalan dengan efektif sehingga meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.
