This research concerns the Institutional Management Policy of the Medan Area University Library Repository.The purpose of this research is to find out how the institutional management policy of the repository in the Medan Area University library. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach, datacollection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the background of the Institutional Repository in the Medan Area University Library is an effort to optimize library tasks in collecting, storing, managing, organizing, preserving, and distributing scientific work information, especially within the Medan Area University academic community. The institutional goal of the repository for the Medan Area University library is to collect (collect), manage, preserve, and open access (distribute) all intellectual works produced by the UMA academic community, both students, lecturers, and staff. The institutional management strategy for the Medan Area University library repository all librarians and employees at the Medan Area University library are involved in repository management, because little or not all human resources (HR) are involved, the library also carries out promotions by conducting outreach to students and also promotion through social media such as ig and fb, building library repositories using hardware (hardware) such as computers and software (software) made by outside developers, preserving library collections Medan Area University library providing external hard drives from CDs that have been given by students to the library then copied to an external hard drive.

Di era digital saat ini, kemajuan teknologi informasi mengalami pertumbuhan yang pesat. Salah satu perkembangan yang signifikan terjadi dalam bidang kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence), yang telah diterapkan luas di berbagai sektor, termasuk analisis data dan pengambilan keputusan. Para peneliti di bidang data mining telah menciptakan beragam algoritma klasifikasi yang meningkatkan proses klasifikasi dengan memanfaatkan atribut numerik dan nominal. Klasifikasi adalah suatu proses analisis data yang menghasilkan model untuk mewakili kelas-kelas dalam data tersebut, seperti yang terjadi pada Decision Tree yang digunakan untuk menganalisis klasifikasi dan pola prediksi data serta menggambarkan hubungan antara variabel atribut  dan variabel target  dalam bentuk struktur pohon. Python, sebagai bahasa pemrograman populer dalam pengembangan kecerdasan buatan, menyediakan pustaka dan framework yang mendukung implementasi algoritma Decision Tree. Dengan menerapkan algoritma Decision Tree untuk klasifikasi data evaluasi mobil menggunakan Python, kita dapat memanfaatkan kekuatan AI untuk memberikan solusi efektif dan efisien dalam pengambilan keputusan terkait evaluasi mobil. Menggunakan dataset Evaluation Car dari UC Irvine Machine Learning Repository, hasil penelitian menunjukkan akurasi sebesar 81%. Confusion Matrix dan laporan klasifikasi menunjukkan performa model yang baik dalam melakukan prediksi.

This research is to analyze the existing database at the software laboratory center to obtain the necessary information and design a data warehouse to integrate existing data and provide global information. The method used is the method of analysis and planning. The method of analysis is carried out through reviewing and carrying out system analysis, carrying out analysis and identification of system vulnerabilities, and analyzing problem solving. And the data warehouse design method is implemented by applying the nine steps (Nine-Step Methodology) used by Ralph Kimball to design the star model. The result is a data warehouse that provides some global information that is global, meaningful, integrated and can be viewed from different perspectives and is useful for managers in decision making. A separate repository of functioning databases. A software lab center is already needed to help managers make strategic decisions quickly and accurately.

The database or what is commonly referred to as a database is a collection of data that is stored neatly, structured on a computer and is very important in an information system. The database functions as a provider of information for its consumers. The database has many benefits, some of which are facilitating data management, data accuracy, increasing productivity, cost savings, as a material for making better decisions and helping to maintain data security. The purpose of thisresearch is to understand what are thebenefits of databases and how to implement databases for organizations or companies. By knowing the benefits of a database, an organization or company can make good decisions or policies in managing andutilizing their data. The method in this study uses a qualitative method by conducting a survey to find out the benefits of the database at the UIN North Sumatra Library and what facilities are obtained by implementing the database in managingits information system. The results obtained from this study are that the North Sumatra Uin Library utilizes databases in improving services by carrying out several developments such as an online library, an application called OPAC, an application that makes it easy to check library collections and a web called repository which is a collection application. the work of students. Libraries that previously only used the recording method but have switched to using online by utilizing databases.

Higher education is an institution that has various sections and work units that work together in carrying out the Tri Dharma principles, namely research, learning and service, which are able to accommodate large amounts of data, both in conventional and digital forms. digitally it is called a repository, college x in Pagar Alam, South Sumatra does not yet have a repository, so a feasibility study must be carried out which can later become a forum for suggestions. Before the repository is developed, a feasibility study must be carried out so that the development can be carried out properly. This feasibility study is first carried out through the management life cycle, where this research includes survey method re- search. This research produces data from an infrastructure feasibility study in building a repository for Higher Education x in Pagar Alam, South Sumatra, which is 80%, this percentage is obtained from infrastructure feasibility 40%, HR 10%, Budget 0%, SPMI (SOP/SK) of 10 %, and 20% repository content. The things that need to be fixed are the availability and addition of IT infrastructure, software, additional rules (SOP), and procedures for submitting and uploading data.
