The implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a crucial aspect in construction projects to minimize workplace accidents and improve labor productivity. This internship report aims to evaluate the implementation of the OSH system at PT. X on the RSPTN Universitas X Project. The methods used include field observations, interviews with related personnel, and documentation review. The results indicate that OSH implementation has been carried out through the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety induction programs, installation of safety signs, and routine supervision. However, several violations in PPE usage were still observed. Consistent and continuous OSH implementation is necessary to achieve the zero accident target in the project environment.

Proyek konstruksi Rumah Sakit Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (RSPTN) Universitas X menghasilkan berbagai jenis Limbah B3 dari aktivitas pembangunan, operasional lapangan, dan perawatan peralatan. Limbah tersebut memiliki sifat berbahaya sehingga memerlukan pengelolaan sesuai regulasi untuk mencegah pencemaran dan risiko kesehatan. Studi ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis Limbah B3 yang timbul serta menilai kesesuaian pengelolaannya di Tempat Penyimpanan Sementara (TPS) dengan PP No. 22 Tahun 2021, Permen LH No. 14 Tahun 2013, dan Permen LHK No. 20 Tahun 2020. Limbah yang dihasilkan meliputi oli bekas, cat beserta wadahnya, solar bekas, bahan pelapis kedap air, dan thinner. Pengemasan dan pelabelan sudah sesuai ketentuan, namun fasilitas TPS masih perlu ditingkatkan seperti penutupan bangunan, ketahanan lantai, fasilitas keselamatan, dan kerapian penyimpanan. Pemindahan limbah dilakukan melalui pihak berizin seperti DLH. Secara umum, pengelolaan Limbah B3 cukup baik, tetapi masih diperlukan peningkatan sarana TPS agar lebih aman dan sesuai persyaratan.

This research looks into how site managers in construction projects in Malang City manage and improve their use of human resources. The research is driven by the significance of effective human resource management in ensuring project success and the lack of studies focusing on the operational strategies of site managers within a local context. This study uses a quantitative method that is both descriptive and analytical. It involves giving out a survey to 40 people, including site managers, contractors, and foremen. The independent variables include leadership and supervisory style, human resource planning and workforce allocation, training and competency development, team communication and coordination, performance monitoring and evaluation, as well as motivation and welfare. The dependent variable is the degree to which human resource management is optimized. The results of validity and reliability tests indicate that all research instruments are valid and reliable. Multiple linear regression analysis shows that leadership and supervisory style, along with human resource planning and workforce allocation, have a significant partial effect on improving HRM practices. Other variables have a positive but statistically insignificant partial effect on the estate. Overall, the management of human resources in construction projects in Malang City is considered to be fairly good. This study confirms that leadership and workforce planning are the main strategic factors for site managers in improving the effectiveness of human resource management in construction projects.

PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) in Indonesia that operates in the construction industry. PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. was awarded the contract for the Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road construction project, Package 1, Section 1. Construction safety is a very important aspect in the project. The toll road construction project involves work at heights, especially on erection grider work. Erection grider work is a high-risk job, so construction safety must be guaranteed. If construction safety is not guaranteed in the work environment, workers will be more careful in working to reduce risks so that work slows down. This can reduce work productivity. However, when safety is guaranteed, workers will feel safe to work so that it can increase work productivity. This study aims to determine the effect of construction safety (X) on work productivity (Y). The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents of erection grider workers. Data processing used the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM PLS) method with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of data processing showed that construction safety had a significant influence on work productivity with a t-statistic value of 7.329 and a p-value of 0.000.

The calculation of work volume and construction costs is a fundamental aspect of project management, as errors in the estimation process can directly affect the preparation of the project budget. Many projects still use conventional methods for estimation, which are based on 2D working drawings with the assistance of Microsoft Excel, as seen in the Sungai Raya Religious Court Building project. This method is considered prone to calculation errors and less efficient due to the considerable amount of time required. With the advancement of technology, Building Information Modeling (BIM) has emerged, enabling automatic and integrated calculation of work volumes and construction costs through a three-dimensional digital model. This study aims to examine the implementation of BIM in the Sungai Raya Religious Court Building project and to compare the results of work volume and construction cost calculations between the BIM method using Autodesk Revit and the conventional method based on the project’s Bill of Quantity (BoQ). The research method was conducted by modeling the structural elements of the building, including pile caps, tie beams, columns, beams, floor slabs, and reinforcements. The results of work volume and construction cost calculations obtained from Autodesk Revit were then compared with the project’s BoQ as the conventional method. Based on the analysis, an average difference of 6.3% in work volume and 5.6% in construction cost was found, with the Autodesk Revit calculations showing slightly lower values compared to the project’s BoQ.
