The development of artificial intelligence technology has given birth to deepfake technology which has the potential to be misused to damage a person's digital identity. This research aims to analyze the mode of misuse of deepfake technology in Indonesia, examine its legal implications based on applicable laws and regulations, and examine the urgency of special regulation of deepfake in the Indonesian legal system. Applicable, as well as examining the urgency of special arrangements against deepfake in the Indonesian legal system. The research method used is normative juridical legal research with statutory and conceptual approaches, and data collection is carried out through literature study of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials tertiary. The results show that deepfake abuse can take the form of spreading fake videos, face forgery and digital identity-based fraud that harms victims socially, legally and psychologically. Although several articles in the ITE Law, Personal Data Protection Law, and Criminal Code can be used to charge perpetrators, these regulations have not specifically and explicitly regulated the characteristics and technical aspects of deepfake-based crimes. This creates obstacles in law enforcement and victim protection. Therefore, it is necessary to establish special regulations or amend existing laws so that the legal system in Indonesia is able to answer the challenges of deepfake technology appropriately, fairly, and effectively.

Misuse of accounts linked to telephone numbers has become a serious issue in the realm of cybercrime. This often happens when a user's telephone number is inactive or has entered a grace period, and is then resold by the provider to a third party. This creates an opening for hackers to access accounts associated with that number, including banking and e-commerce accounts. By utilizing the information obtained, hackers can carry out illegal transactions that harm genuine users. This article was created to analysis the mechanisms of abuse in the context of cybercrime, as well as the psychological and financial impacts experienced by victims. The results of this case analysis show that a lack of awareness of cyber security and personal data protection increases the risk of misuse, making it important for users to implement stricter security measures.

The rapid advancement of knowledge and information technology has reshaped the perspectives and lifestyles of Indonesian citizens, particularly through innovations like Artificial Intelligence (AI), which automates various tasks and simplifies human activities. However, the misuse of AI has become a critical issue in 2023, especially in spreading sophisticated fake information. To address this, Law No. 1 of 2024, amending Law No. 11 of 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions, is expected to combat AI software misuse effectively. This study investigates the legal implications of AI misuse, particularly concerning privacy and personal data security, and examines its interpretation under Articles 27 and 32 of the Information and Electronic Transactions Law to enhance law enforcement and safeguard individual privacy rights. Using a normative legal research approach, the findings reveal that AI misuse, such as manipulating photos and videos, violates data protection laws, including the GDPR in the European Union and Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Act. Such violations can lead to severe penalties, legal consequences, and reputational damage for companies. Recognized as a form of cybercrime, AI misuse is addressed under Article 35 of the Information and Electronic Transactions Law, which provides a specialized legal framework for handling such offenses comprehensively.

This research aims to find out what factors cause women to become victims of abuse in dating relationships in Gorontalo City and how legal protection is for women as victims of abuse in dating relationships at the Gorontalo City Police Department. This research uses empirical legal research methods which are carried out by collecting data through observation and interviews. The results of this research show that abuse in dating relationships in Gorontalo City is a very worrying phenomenon and can have a negative impact on victims and society as a whole. Abuse in dating relationships in Gorontalo City involves various factors, both internal factors such as a high level of emotional dependence, low levels of victim self-confidence, and the victim's tendency to justify aggressive behavior from their partners, while external factors occur due to the influence of the social environment. , norms and culture, the influence of the environment where violence occurs, and position and power. The legal protection provided by the Gorontalo City Police for victims of abuse in dating relationships is carried out by providing priority and quick responses to reports of abuse, collecting supporting evidence by conducting investigations into cases of abuse in dating relationships, such as witness statements, and physical evidence. The Gorontalo City Police also provides physical protection such as giving a detention order against the perpetrator and providing a safe space for the victim and maintaining the confidentiality of the victim's personal information to prevent further threats from the perpetrator.
