The problem in this study is the low activity and learning outcomes of students in IPS (Social Studies). This happens because the teaching method is only one-way, still using conventional methods, and students tend to be passive. The way to overcome this problem is through the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL), Group Investigation (GI), and Picture And Picture (PAP) models. The research aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes. This research focused on fifth grade students at SDN Teluk Tiram 2 Banjarmasin, which numbered 20 people, in the form of 12 boys and 8 girls. This research method applies a qualitative approach that uses the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). Qualitative data were obtained from observations of educator and student activities, while quantitative data were obtained from individual written test results. The results of this study show that at the fourth meeting, the teacher's activity obtained a score of 26, rated as "Very Good". Student activity reached 100%, and learning outcomes met the success indicator (>81). In conclusion, PBL, GI, and PAP methods can make learning activities and results increase.

This research applies the PBL learning model with the help of Geogebra software to test the increase in junior high school students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. This research aims to find out whether the application of the PBL learning model assisted by Geogebra software can improve students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The research method used is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were 29 students in class VII-6 of SMP Negeri 17 Medan. The object of this research is to increase students' understanding of mathematical concepts in set material with the PBL model assisted by Geogebra software. Based on the research results obtained, in cycle I the number of students who completed classical learning was 8 students (27.59%), and 21 students (72.41%) had not yet completed it, with an average class score of 54.87. In cycle II there was an increase in students' ability to understand mathematical concepts, there were 21 students (72.41%) who achieved completeness and 8 students (27.59%) who had not yet completed it, with a class average score of 72.24. The target percentage level of student success based on the second cycle test of understanding mathematical concepts has reached the specified completeness, namely 70% with a KKM of 70. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Geogebra software can improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts student.

This study was to find out how the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to the topic of Colligative Properties in the science program at SMA Negeri 1 Babalan Class XII academic year 2021–2022 would increase students' problem-solving skills and learning activities. Three cycles of action research were used in this study. 32 SMA Negeri 1 Babalan students from the first semester of the academic year 2021–2022 served as the study's subjects. The findings came from watching students engage in learning activities and testing their capacity to solve problems at each stage of the Cycle. The results demonstrated that 1) college students' problem-solving skills improved by implementing the PBL model on the Colligative Properties subject, with average values from Cycles I to II and III of 56, 77, and 87, respectively, while the percentage of classical completion from Cycles I to II and III was 44%, 62,5%, and 87%, with gains from Cycles I to II of 0,083 and from Cycles II to II equal to 0,35; 2). Applying the PBL model to the topic of Colligative Properties resulted in an increase in the students' learning activities, with an average value of 75 in sufficient criteria, 77 in sufficient criteria, and 85 in good criteria from Cycle I to Cycle II and Cycle III, respectively.

This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles. Before carrying out research or taking action, an initial test is given to measure students' problem-solving ability and at the end of each cycle a problem-solving ability test is given. This study aims to determine how to improve problem solving skills through the application of the Geogebra-assisted Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. Students experienced an increase in problem-solving skills, in the initial test the average problem-solving ability was 42.19%. In the first cycle, the test results showed an increase of 57.81%. From the results of the second cycle test also increased to 88.50%. The test results showed an increase in students' problem-solving abilities. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Geogebra media-assisted PBL model can improve students' problem-solving abilities.

    The Purpose of this was to identify procedures and way to apply the problem based learning (PBL) model that could improve student achievement in class IV SDIT Mutiara Hati Ngargoyoso. Thys type research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were students in grade IV SDIT Mutiara Hati Ngargoyoso in the 2021/2022 academic year a total of 27 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle cinsisted of four stages such a planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were selected based on the result of the first semester test score. The result showed that class IV had a low-class average and mastery grade. Data collection technique used was descriptive which compared the test score in the first cycle with the test score in the second cycle. The success criterion for learning outcomes was the minimum score of 75 (KKM = 75) and minimum score of class was 85%. The result showed that there was an improvement in Civics learning outcomes in the initial conditions (initil ability test), cycle 1 and cycle II. On theinital ability test, the average value was only 77,44. In cycle 1, the average value has increased. The result was that the average score was 79,22 and students who got scores ≥ 75 are 24 students. Furthermore, in cycle II also experienced an increase. The result is that the average value became 85,11 and minimum score of class became 100%. Student who score ≥  75 were 27 students. Based on the results, it could be concluded that the implementation of the problem-based learninng (PBL)model can improve student achievement  in class IV SDIT Mutiara Hati Ngargoyoso. This study aims to determine the application of problem based learning learning models with lottery game media in improving junior high school students' problem solving abilities. This research is an experimental research in the form of Pre-Experimental Designs. The design used is One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population in this study were class VIII A and class VIII B. The sample in this study was students of class VIII B consisting of 20 students with the selection of subjects based on the cluster random sampling technique. The data collection technique used is a measurement technique with a data collection tool in the form of test questions in essay form. The data analysis technique used was anava one line of dissimilar cells, with further testing using the Scheffe method. The research results obtained were that there was a significant increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities before and after being given treatment through the problem based learning model using lottery media with high categories.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) Berbasis Problem Based learning (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan atau R&D ( Research and development). Subyek penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang peserta didik di kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Doloksanggul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD Berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dikembangkan adalah : (1).Valid dengan indikator penilaian aspek kelayakan isi memproleh nilai presentase 91,79% dengan kategori sangat valid, indikator penelitian berupa aspek penyajian materi memproleh nilai presentase sebesar 95,55% dengan kategori sangat valid, aspek kebahasaan dan nilai presentase sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat valid dan aspek kegrafikan dengan nilai presentase sebesar 97,03% dengan kategori sangat valid, serta validitas LKPD secara keseluruhan memproleh nilai presentase 94,16% dengan kriteria sangat valid, (2) LKPD yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria efektif berdasarkan aspek keefektifan. Keefektifan diproleh dari hasiil ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal adalah 84,33% sehingga secara klasikal telah memenuhi kriteria pencapaian ketuntasan dan siswa yang tuntas belajar dengan presentase 86,66% yang termasuk dalam kategori tuntas. (3) LKPD yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang mencakup 4 indikator, pada indikator pertama 93% indikator kedua 86% indikator ketiga 81% dan indikator keempat 78%. Sehingga kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa meningkat dari uji coba pretest dan uji coba posttest.
