Medan Tuntungan Sub-district is one of the strategic areas in Medan City that has great potential in the development of the tourism sector. This research aims to identify and analyze the characteristics of tourism architecture and the attractiveness of tourist destinations in the area. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through literature study and observation of several leading tourist attractions, including Kenanga Garden, Royal Sumatra Golf Course, Rajasyah Outbound & Edu Center, and Graha Maria Annai Velangkanni. The results showed that each destination has its own charm in terms of attractions, accessibility, amenities, and ancillary facilities. The existence of adequate facilities and a natural atmosphere are the added value of these destinations. However, some locations still need improvement in terms of infrastructure and promotion. Therefore, collaboration between the government, tourism managers, and the community is needed to support the development of sustainable tourism in Medan Tuntungan Sub-district.

This community service article aims to utilize empty land, including rice fields, to explore and develop tourism potential in an effort to improve community welfare. Through direct outreach to village residents as well as intensive assistance regarding methods and strategies in efforts to make Mojogebang village a tourist village. What is done is starting from mapping to identify places that have potential tourist destinations, analyzing characteristics and problems, describing the development of community-based tourist villages, as well as analyzing supporting element systems. The recommendations we provide are as follows. Because Mojogebang village is mostly a rice field area, the most appropriate thing to implement there is culinary tourism in the rice fields, namely food stalls or restaurants or cafes with a backdrop and view of the green and yellow rice fields.

Waqf is one of the Islamic social instruments that has a dual role, namely as a religious institution and as an economic instrument. Waqf can improve the welfare of the ummah, support government spending, and absorb labor. The author applies a descriptive qualitative approach using the literature study research method. This method involves collecting data from various literatures, especially articles from scientific journals relevant to the research topic. Halal tourism is a travel concept that fulfills the principles of Islamic sharia in every aspect. The purpose of halal tourism is to provide a vacation experience that complies with religious principles for Muslim tourists, which includes spiritual, cultural, and also their practical needs while traveling. From the research conducted, it appears that the optimization of waqf assets has great potential in creating significant employment opportunities and can reduce the unemployment rate.

Culinary tourism is a part of tourism. The variety of culinary delights available in each region can be developed as an attraction for tourists to visit an area, this phenomenon can also be seen in the city of Medan. The great potential in Medan city has not been supported by adequate information about Medan’s culinary wealth. Many factors cause a lack of information for tourists. Therefore this study aims to: 1). Especially the types and culinary potential typical of Medan, North Sumatra, 2). Avoiding the problems encountered in developing culinary specialties of Medan in supporting tourism potential in the city of Medan. This research uses a type of qualitative research, and descriptive data analysis techniques, which will discuss what potential it has and how to develop it. The results of the study show that there is potential for culinary tourism that can be developed as a tourist attraction in the city of Medan, 1). Culinary tours in the field include rujak kolam, mie aceh titi bobrok, tip top restaurant and ucok durian, 2). The problem that is often faced in the development of culinary tourism in the city of Medan is the lack of promotion and expansion of marketing both through print and electronic media.

Desa Wisata Adiluhur memiliki potensi wisata yang beragam dan mendapatkan berbagai penghargaan karena pengelolaan desa wisatanya yang maju. Sayangnya, popularitas Deswita Adiluhur belum diimbangi dengan sinergitas branding yang kuat dengan kegiatan event/festival yang digelar atau diselenggarakan oleh Pengelola Desa Wisata Adiluhur. Adanya festival/event yang rutin diselenggarakan sebagai sarana menarik wisatawan agar dapat berkunjung secara rutin. Event yang dibuat nanti harus dapat mengedepankan aspek humanis serta mudah diimplementasikan oleh pengelola Deswita Adiluhur. Adapun Festival yang diimpelementasikan adalah Sport Tourism Festival, English Day Festival, dan Festival Desa Wisata. Ketiga festival tersebut dapat berjalan dengan baik dan mampu mengangkat branding Desa Wisata Adiluhur untuk mendatangkan jumlah wisatawan yang lebih massif.

The potential for durian culinary tourism in Kembangsari Village, Musuk District, Boyolali Regency is a major concern in developing local tourism. This study assesses tourist experiences and their impact on the local economy. Through SWOT analysis, the main strengths are found in high quality durian, relatively cheap prices offered, and a beautiful atmosphere, namely the durian garden. However, challenges such as the lack of tourism infrastructure and dependence on the durian season need to be overcome so that this tourism can have a significant impact on improving the economy of the surrounding community. Development opportunities include diversifying tourism experiences and strengthening promotions.

Desa Banjarejo merupakan salah satu desa di Kabupaten Malang yang memiliki potensi alam yang bagus dengan tanah subur yang bisa ditanami berbagai macam sayur-sayuran, salah satunya adalah selada air. Namun pemanfaatan kekayaan alam tersebut belum maksimal sehingga masih memiliki nilai ekonomis yang rendah. Tim pelaksana kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dari Universitas Negeri Malang berkesempatan untuk melakukan pelatihan pengolahan selada air untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomis dari sayuran tersebut. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat perekonomian kelompok tani melalui inisiatif pengolahan mie selada air sebagai strategi mendorong pengembangan desa wisata di desa Banjarejo kabupaten Malang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara dan observasi lapangan, kegiatan ini melatih bagaimana kelompok petani di desa mengatur dan mengembangkan usaha pengolahan mie selada airnya, tidak hanya membantu meningkatkan pendapatan pribadi tetapi juga berkontribusi positif terhadap perekonomian Desa Banjarejo. Potensi dampak pengembangan komersial ini untuk meningkatkan daya tarik desa sebagai tujuan wisata juga dieksplorasi dalam kegiatan ini, memberikan pandangan komprehensif tentang potensi pemberdayaan ekonomi berkelanjutan di tingkat lokal. Village development activities are an integral part of the Merdeka Campus Competency Program (PKKM) in line with MBKM KKNT. Participating students perform community service as proof of their commitment to strengthening and supporting their community, in accordance with the principles of the Three Dharma Universities which include teaching, research, and devotion to the community. Village Development Program in Penangungan Village, Trawas, Mojokerto, attractive tourist destinations near the mountains, is a real step forward in providing ideas and solutions to the problems of the village community. The Trawas area is a famous tourist destination, with beautiful natural environments, cafes, and tourist attractions that contribute significantly to the village economy. Some destinations in Trawas, such as the Kecambung Valley, are newly opened on October 12, 2023, but may be missed as tourists tend to visit places that are widely discussed in the Trawas area. UPN DKV students focus Bina Village's work program on branding Agrowisata Valley Kecambung to increase the attractiveness and visibility of this new destination.

Pabean Village is one of the villages in Dringu District, Probolinggo Regency, which has tourism potential that needs to be developed, namely Tugu Beach. In the development process, there are several problems faced, one of which is the lack of uploads related to information on the condition of Tugu Beach. This lack of information resulted in a decrease in visitors who came. So that the community service team of the Veteran National Development University of East Java provides a solution by making a village website to support the digitization of village potential development. This research was conducted to observe how the community is impacted by the digitalization step in sharing information. The research was conducted using interview and observation methods in the environment around Pabean Village and Tugu Beach. The results of interviews and observations will be used as information material to be uploaded on the website. The result of this activity is that the website is symbolically given to the village. The village received it well and hopes that with this step, the potential of Pabean Village will increase.

Kembangkuning Village has potential as a historical attraction. The potential of historical attraction is the Watu Lumpang Site that rarely visited even by the local community. Therefore, the idea to optimize the potential of Kembangkuning Village to become a historical tourism village that will be known by the wider community. The method used in this service activity is descriptive qualitative method with data collection in the field through observation, identification, interviews, and documentation. The result of this community service activity to change the mindset of local people to consider the Watu Lumpang Site as a dangerous place are slowly starting to disappear. This is proven by the event of area cleanup activities with local residents after this activity was carried out.

The tourism industry plays an important role in the global economy as it is considered as one of the contributing factors to employment growth and economic growth in any country. In Karanglo Sukorejo Village, Pasuruan, there are tours where the majority of the people are Muslim, so there is a need for an understanding of tourism in accordance with sharia rules and principles. Therefore, researchers conducted research with the title "The Potential for Development of Halal Tourism in Improving the Community's Economy (Study Object: Halal Tourism of Dates Gardens, Karanglo Sukorejo Village, Pasuruan). The purpose of this study is first to explore the potential for developing halal tourism in date plantations and secondly the impact of developing halal tourism on date plantations in improving the economy. community economy. The type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. While the research tools used by researchers in this study were observation, interviews and documents. From the results of the study it is known that the existence of halal tourism in date palm plantations has a positive impact on the economy of the local community because the development of this halal tourism area opens up job opportunities and also creates new jobs, especially for local communities.

Perkembangan sektor pariwisata telah berkembang menjadi sebuah industri yang sangat signifikan karena perkembangan dari digitalisasi sendiri. Fenomena ini terjadi karena aktivitas sektor pariwisata yang telah menciptakan permintaan tinggi untuk sebuah jasa, produk dan pelayanan, berakibat pada munculnya perusahaan yang saling melengkapi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar tersebut. Inilah yang dapat menjadi kontribusi untuk meningkatkan para wisatawan berkunjung ke dalam objek wisata tertentu. Sebagai contoh objek wisata yang diprakarsai oleh masyarakat setempat adalah Pasar Seni dan Budaya Kertarejasa, yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Candirenggo, Kecamatan Singosari, Kabupaten Malang. Yang ditawarkan dalam pasar ini adalah berbagai produk dari seni dan budaya yang begiru menarik minat para wisatawan untuk memperkenalkan lebih dekat kearifan lokal dan keunikan daerah tersebut. Ditekankan juga pentingnya upaya bersama untuk melestarikan dan mengembangkan potensi pariwisata sebagai salah satu sumber pendapatan dan pengenalan budaya daerah.

Wisata yang terletak di Desa Sumbersari, Kecamatan Kayen, Kabupaten Pati memiliki beberapa wisata antara lain Gua Pancur, Lorotan Semar, Bukit Pandang, dan masih terdapat wisata lainnya. Dengan adanya wisata tersebut sangat menguntungkan bagi masyarakat di desa Sumbersari untuk peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat, namun pengelolaan wisata tersebut belum dikelola secara optimal. Hal tersebut merupakan peluang untuk pengembangan wisata tersebut, dengan cara memberikan penyuluhan terhadap masyarakat dan pengelola wisata tersebut, sehingga menjadikan desa wisata yang inovatif dan kreatif. Peluang tersebut bisa diciptakan dengan memanajemen dan mendigitalisasikan wisata tersebut sehingga dapat meningkatkan potensi wisatawan di Desa Wisata Sumbersari, Wilayah Kayen. Metode pengabdian ini dengan memberikan penyuluhan serta edukasi kepada masyarakat dan pengelola wisata di Desa Wisata Sumbersari Wilayah. Kayen. Kegiatan tersebut terlaksana dengan didukung pihak kepala desa setempat dan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat menambah wawasan dan ketrampilan, serta mendorong masyarakat maupun pengelola wisata aktif untuk meningkatkan desa wisata tersebut.

The purpose of this study is to determine the tourism potential of Mali's beaches. Tourism potential is everything that is owned by a tourist spot that is an attraction for anyone who visits the place. Alor Regency is an area that has many destinations. One of them is beach tourism, which is beach tourism in Mali and has tourism potential that attracts the attention of tourists. Based on the results obtained from observations, interviews and researchers' observations about beach tourism in Mali, beach tourism in Mali is tourism with very good opportunities, namely good natural opportunities and will become a tourist destination with very beautiful nature. beauty . eye candy and the facilities there are very good which can be enjoyed during a beach tour in Mali. Apart from the natural beauty and excellent facilities, tourists can observe dugongs in the Pantar Straits Reserve (SAP), Kabola Subdivision which is about 20 minutes from the coast of Mali.  

Pengembangan wisata yang dapat menyesuaikan dan memitigasi kondisi lingkungan harus menjadi prioritas seiring dibukanya kembali sektor pariwisata pasca pandemi Covid-19. Di kawasan hutan Kecamatan Jetis Kabupaten Mojokerto, terdapat sebuah wisata dengan nama Bukit Kayoe Putih. Wisata tersebut berfokus pada edukasi kayu putih yang digunakan sebagai bahan pembuatan minyak atsiri. Ketidaksesuaian kondisi eksisting wisata dengan branding yang diusung membuat tempat wisata memerlukan peninjauan ulang. Hal tersebut antara lain tidak adanya fasilitas edukasi pengolahan minyak atsiri dan implementasi material bangunan maupun landscape yang kurang sesuai dengan karakter lingkungan sekitar. Selain permasalahan eksisting, kawasan tersebut berpotensi menjadi tempat wisata yang unggul jika memanfaatkan ciri khas daerah Mojokerto sebagai penunjang pembangunannya. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi terhadap pembangunan wisata, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk memberikan solusi dan mewadahi potensi dengan menerapkan prinsip pemanfaatan material lokal. Prinsip pemanfaatan material lokal adalah pendekatan berkelanjutan yang bertujuan meminimalkan dampak negatif bagi lingkungan dan memaksimalkan potensi material daerah sekitar. Metode deskriptif-kualitatif dilakukan dalam penelitian dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan wawancara secara langsung serta kajian pustaka terkait. Kemudian dihasilkan kesimpulkan bahwa bata merah merupakan material lokal yang tepat untuk mendukung pengembangan wisata tersebut karena berperan mengangkat citra daerah yang ikonik, hingga kontribusi positifnya terhadap pembangunan wisata berkelanjutan.

Semarang memiliki potensi wisata yang banyak, lengkap dan baik untuk dikunjungi. Dimulai dari wisata alam hingga berbagai obyek wisata dan pariwisata yang tidak bisa dilepaskan dari nilai-nilai arsitektural. Untuk mempermudah wisatawan dalam melakukan kegiatanya harus didukung beberapa hal, seperti: alternatif jalur transportasi menuju Semarang hingga moda transportasi antar obyek wisata yang akan dikunjungi. kuliner juga bisa menjadi kegiatan pokok yang bersifat wisata arsitektural dengan informasi yang tepat. begitu pula dengan penginapan untuk beristirahat dengan aktifitas tidur dan juga dapat dinikmati secara nyaman sebagai bagian dari aktifitas wisata. Tujuan Penelitian konsep mapping desain pariwisata arsitektural di Semarang, yaitu: pertama menghasilkan jadwal tabel kegiatan wisata di Semarang khususnya wisata yang bernilai arsitektural beserta wisata pendukungnya, kedua menghasilkan alternatif jalur transportasi yang dapat dipakai dalam berwisata di Semarang, ketiga menghasilkan informasi arsitektural yang akurat terkait obyek wisata yang akan dikunjungi. Hasil yang diharapkan pada penelitian konsep mapping desain pariwisata arsitektural di Semarang, yaitu: pertama tabel harian yang berisi jadwal kegiatan wisata, kuliner, dll yang dilengkapi dengan alokasi waktu menuju serta selama di obyek wisata, kedua alternatif jalur transportasi menuju dan selama berwisata di Semarang, ketiga informasi arsitektural terkait obyek wisata yang akan dikunjungi sebagai bagian dari pertimbangan wisatawan berkunjung ke obyek wisata tersebut.

Because the community lacks concern for existing tourism potential because there is no attraction from tourism potential so that village communities to promote existing tourism potential are lacking. Making tourist attractions in the form of photo spots as a form of tourism village development, is carried out using the participation and socialization approach to the community, through the creation of photo spots which were inaugurated during the "Mlaku Together, Healthy Together" Walk activity. This activity was created as a forum to gather the community, village government, and stakeholders on the Embung Sumberagung tourist attraction. The implementation of developing the tourism potential of the Sumberagung Reservoir began with conducting a survey of the Embung tourist attractions to find out what attractions could be placed in the tourist area, through the survey that had been conducted it was decided that the tourist attraction that could be placed in the Embung area was a Photo Spot. After it was decided to make a photo spot to fulfill the tourist attraction, permission was then given to village officials regarding this photo spot. Revitalization was carried out by adding a photo spot area, installing a sign system, and making trash cans in the area around the reservoir. Photo spots are made with bamboo frames and have a background in the form of a pond view. The sign system is made using wood and iron materials, as a pointer to the location of the reservoir and also as a marker to help maintain environmental cleanliness.

Digitaslisasi pada zaman ini merupakan senjata paling utama dalam penyebarluasan informasi. Ketika masyarakat mengenal suatu hal erat kaitannya dengan icon sebagai identitas terhadap satu hal tersebut. Kita melihat Desa Panglungan mempunyai potensi wisata yang cukup baik untuk menjadi objek wisata yang akan disenangi masyarakat. Selain itu, kita juga menyayangkan atas pengelolaan yang kurang baik dalam aspek wisata. Adanya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu pengelolaan objek-objek wisata yang ada di desa Panglungan serta mendigitalisasi supaya dapat tersebar luas di banyak masyarakat dan mengetahui objek wisata apa saja yang ada di desa Panglungan, Kecamatan Wonosalam, Kabupaten Jombang, Jawa Timur. Namun, sebuah wisata yang baik adalah ketika elemen-elemen yang ada masyarakat saling terkait sehingga kita juga akan mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat untuk saling berkaitan dalam rangka memajukan wisata yang dimiliki desa Panglungan.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk pengembangan Desa Wisata Sianjur Mulamula. Desa Wisata adalah salah satu bentuk pengembangan pariwisata yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi pariwisata yang ada di desa dengan melibatkan masyarakat setempat. Desa Wisata Sianjur Mulamula berdiri pada tanggal 25 Oktober 2015, pertama kali dikelola oleh R.Sinaga dan sekarang telah dikelolah oleh B.Sagala.  Dengan dilaksanakannya kegiatan Fieldtrip IAKN Tarutung diharapkan dapat mendorong pemerintah daerah, masyarakat setempat, serta anak-anak yang ada di Desa Wisata Sianjur Mulamula untuk tetap menjaga dan melestarikan budaya, lingkungan di Desa Wisata tersebut. Serta merawat dan dapat mengelola sampah dengan baik, sehingga terciptanya Desa Wisata yang baik.

Community service program held in Kedungpari Village aims to optimize tourism potential in the village. Through the held of culinary tourism festivals, the potential of Micro, Small Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) that is eminent on the village could be optimized to become Kedungpari Village’s main object of tourism. Accordingly, the culinary tourism festivals are expected to be a tourist destination that is able to appeal tourists to come and visit Kedungpari Village. This study uses qualitative methods of research with a descriptive type of research that focuses on explaining how the process of culinary tourism festivals being held and how it impacted the local communities.
