Children with special needs require specialized educational services that accommodate their diverse learning characteristics, and digital-based media offers flexible and adaptive learning opportunities tailored to individual abilities. The digital learning media “Voca Poly” was developed to provide education and practical skills training for blind and physically disabled children, particularly in strengthening knowledge and cooking skills to support independent living. This community service program was implemented through three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage involved needs assessment, media design, and coordination with partner institutions. The implementation stage included interactive learning sessions using the Voca Poly educational game, focusing on food security concepts through English vocabulary from planting to food processing. The evaluation stage assessed participants’ understanding, engagement, and skill improvement. The results showed increased knowledge of cooking concepts and improved practical skills among participants. Moreover, the game-based approach successfully fostered enthusiasm, motivation, and active participation among visually impaired and physically disabled children.

Every human being inherently has the hope of living a normal and prosperous life, both physically and psychologically. However, in reality, not all individuals are born with complete physical abilities. Some are born with physical disabilities that limit their ability to perform daily activities. This condition often gives rise to various challenges, especially in the social sphere, as faced by individuals with physical disabilities (tuna daksa). This study aims to examine the relationship between self-esteem and social support with the psychological well-being of persons with physical disabilities in West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational approach. The population consisted of 37 individuals with physical disabilities, and the total sampling technique was employed. Data collection was conducted using three psychological scales: the psychological well-being scale, the self-esteem scale, and the social support scale. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that self-esteem and social support simultaneously had a significant relationship with psychological well-being. Partially, both self-esteem and social support were also found to have significant relationships with psychological well-being. This indicates that psychological well-being in individuals with physical disabilities is influenced by internal factors such as self-esteem, as well as external factors such as social support. The findings of this study can serve as a basis for the development of appropriate psychological and social interventions to improve the quality of life of persons with physical disabilities.

Basically, God created His creatures perfectly. On the other hand, it turns out that God also created humans who do not have five senses, or incomplete body functions, such as the blind, deaf, physically disabled, even mentally disabled so that they have limitations in carrying out daily activities and are often considered different from others. A person who has physical or mental limitations due to illness or injury is called a disability. Being a person with a disability not only affects the person themselves, but often their families, especially their parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of pastoral care for parents who have children with disabilities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The population and sample of this study were parents, namely the father and mother of a child with disabilities in Pamalian village, Sorkam sub-district, Central Tapanuli district. In an effort to provide pastoral counseling assistance with a Client Centered approach to parents who have children with disabilities, there are several approaches taken by the companion, namely, listening, reflecting, explaining, and being fully present. From the research results, pastoral counseling with a client-centered approach can help parents who have children with disabilities understand that what happened to their child is not a mistake or punishment due to sin so that parents can accept their child's condition.

This article was created to provide information about the right attitude and should be taken by the community when interacting with Persons with Special Needs. With so many types of people with special needs in society, such as the blind, deaf, mentally retarded, quadriplegic, and disabled, the treatment that can be done and provided by the general public should also be carried out differently by adjusting the constraints and needs needed by those with special n (Rosmawati, 2019) (Alim, 2019; Rahayu & Marheni, 2020; Suprapmanto, Nuralifa, Albela, & dkk, 2022; Purba, 2016; Dewi, 2019)eeds. As one of them is the CSOM technique which can be a guide not only for blind people, but also for the wider community when interacting with someone who has visual impairments. The adoption of this topic itself is based ons the experience that researchers have and experience when they are confused about what to behave, whether the person with special needs needs assistance, and if they do need assistance, what kind of assistance and how should be given when meeting with persons with special needs in public place. The research method used in this research itself is a quantitative survei method involving respondents to further strengthen the research that waswas made. The results of the research show that there are many things that can be found and done as an effort to increase the confidence of the general public to interact with Persons with Special Needs in their daily activities. The hope is that this research can dispel doubts that may arise and be experienced when we are going to help or interact with persons with special needs in the future in community activities and can provide information about what to do when interacting with persons with special needs.

The inclusive education program is an effort to carry out the mandate of the 1945 Constitution and eliminate discrimination in the education system in Indonesia. All children with various needs can sit and study together with other normal children in the same school. This study aims to identify forms of curriculum adaptation, especially in science subjects at SDN Gajahmungkur 02 Semarang City. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach with a case study method. This research was conducted in April-June 2022. The data collection technique used in this study used interviews and observation methods. The subject of the interview is a special supervising teacher at the school. Based on the results of interviews and observations, it is known that the curriculum adaptation implemented at SD N Gajahmungkur is viewed from the principles and dimensions of adaptation. The principles of attendance, participation, and achievement have been well realized in this school. In terms of the dimensions of curriculum adaptation, namely, curricular adaptation is reflected in the lesson plans accompanied by special notes and adjustment of learning indicators for children with special needs who are adapted to the 2013 curriculum, learning adaptation is reflected in the presence of a special supervisor teacher in the class even though there is only one. There is a special schedule arrangement so that Class teachers still have a significant role in implementing learning. Environmental adaptation has not been optimal because schools do not yet have accessibility for physically disabled people with wheelchairs. In terms of adjustment to science subjects, teachers have not made many adaptations or modifications for children with special needs.
