Sports injuries are injuries that occur during training, competition or after exercise. Sports injuries occur due to the inability of tissues (muscles, joints, tendons, skin) and other organs to receive training loads during exercise. Factors that influence the occurrence of injuries, namely individual conditions (age, gender, character, experience, warm-up, posture abnormalities), sports facilities (shape and size of equipment), sports characteristics (type of sport), physical environment (temperature and humidity). If not treated immediately, it can cause cerebral vascular disorders (heat stroke) and immediately do an examination if you experience an injury during exercise, so that you can get fast and proper treatment. On this occasion, lecturers from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Anwar Medika University (UAM) Sidoarjo held counseling activities for vocational students in the Krian Sidoarjo sub-district area. Background: Aging leads to physical deterioration, which makes the elderly dependent on others for daily activities. One way to increase their independence is through physical activities such as elderly gymnastics. Regular participation in elderly gymnastics can restore physical function, improve joint, muscle, and movement coordination, and enhance heart function, leading to a healthier and fitter body. Method: The program began with a preparation stage, followed by elderly gymnastics training and counseling. This activity took place in one session, targeting both independent and assisted elderly individuals. The elderly gymnastics included basic exercises with a warm-up, core movements, and cooling down, lasting approximately 15-30 minutes. Afterward, an evaluation of the activity was conducted. Results: A total of 60 elderly individuals participated in the gymnastics session, which included warm-up, core, and cooling exercises. The participants appeared enthusiastic and easily followed the movements, especially with music accompaniment. However, some had difficulty with foot movements due to balance issues. After the gymnastics session, counseling was provided on the importance of doing elderly gymnastics independently. The elderly were very engaged during the counseling and asked several questions afterward. Conclusion: Elderly gymnastics can be incorporated as a routine activity in elderly health programs like posyandu, helping the elderly become more independent with a healthy and fit body. Regular participation in these exercises can improve their ability to perform daily activities independently.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease whose prevalence is increasing due to changes in lifestyle, especially among the younger generation, including students. Unhealthy habits such as a high-calorie diet, lack of physical activity, and high levels of stress can increase the risk of developing DM. Currently, DM is the seventh leading cause of death worldwide, with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) being the largest cause of death. Based on the Southeast Sulawesi Health Profile, DM is ranked fifth out of the ten most common diseases in Southeast Sulawesi with a total of 13,946 sufferers. The increase in the number of people with type 2 diabetes mellitus is a serious global health threat. Therefore, it is important to prevent the prevalence of DM through preventive and promotive actions. One promotional activity that can be carried out is to educate, encourage change and increase knowledge about healthy lifestyles so that the occurrence of disease or bad health conditions in the future can be prevented.
