This article critically examines the training program document for mentors of First Communion candidates at St. Paul Pringgolayan Parish as an institutional religious text. The study employs Peter L. Berger’s theory of the social construction of reality and Michel Foucault’s discourse analysis of power as its analytical framework. Using a qualitative interpretive method, the research conducts an in-depth textual analysis of the document’s narrative structure, normative language, actor relations, and mechanisms of legitimation. The findings reveal that the text is not merely a plan and report of pastoral activities; it also functions as an institutional apparatus that reproduces religious reality while shaping subjects of faith through pedagogical, ritual, and administrative systems. This article argues that pastoral documents can be understood as pastoral social technologies that operate through language to structure religious experience, regulate the distribution of authority, and instill norms of faith practice. These findings contribute to the sociology of religion by demonstrating how faith formation practices at the local level constitute a concrete locus of interaction between the construction of religious meaning and the operation of discursive power.

This community service program aimed to enhance the theological competence of novice catechists and community guides at Santo Krisologus BSB Parish Semarang, focusing on understanding and articulating Catholic Fundamental Beliefs, particularly the Credo. Based on observations from January-August 2024, a gap was identified between high enthusiasm for service and the competency readiness of novice faith proclaimers. The program employed an integrative methodological approach combining interactive lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and participatory observation, accompanied by multi-stage evaluation. Results showed significant improvements in participants' doctrinal understanding and pedagogical abilities, reflected in the quality of theological discussions and the formation of sustainable learning communities. The main challenge identified was the complexity of articulating Trinitarian dogma in contemporary pastoral contexts. This program produced a replicable catechist formation model while affirming the importance of an integrative approach in faith proclaimer development.

The management and care of wounds play a crucial role in the healing process. Improper wound management can lead to infections, slow down the healing process, and even cause post-healing disabilities. Therefore, increasing knowledge about wound care is essential, especially in initial treatment, by conducting wound care training to prevent infections. The training was provided to the administrative staff and youth of the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Tebet. It was conducted using two methods: theoretical and practical. Participants were given pre- and post-training tests to assess their understanding and knowledge before and after the training. A total of 22 participants attended the wound care training to prevent infections. There was a significant increase in the average test scores after the training. It can be concluded that the training improved participants' understanding and knowledge of wound care to prevent infections.

Sudden cardiac arrest is a condition that occurs quite frequently. This sudden cessation of heart function is caused by the loss of electrical activity in the heart, which results in the cessation of blood circulation throughout the body. Quick and proper handling of this condition can reduce the mortality rate due to cardiac arrest. Therefore, Basic Life Support (BLS) training needs to be conducted to educate the general public. The BLS training conducted for the management officers and youth of Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Tebet was carried out by providing theoretical and practical BLS lessons, as well as conducting pre-tests and post-tests to assess the participants' understanding of the material and practices provided. From the activity conducted, a total of 22 participants attended the BLS training, and there was a significant difference in the average pre-test and post-test scores. It can be concluded that the training provided was effective in increasing the participants' understanding and knowledge of BLS.

Community Service Activities (PKM) carried out at St. Peter Krissologus Parish BSB aims to strengthen the spirituality and pastoral skills of catechists through a principle-based approach of "Life, Joy, and Love." This program is organized by the Catechetical Pastoral College (STPKat) of Saint Francis Assisi, guided by the General Instruction Manual of Catechetes. The multidimensional approach is applied through lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, and group dynamics, which are expected to be able to create catechists who live according to faith, bring the joy of the gospel, and serve with sincere love. The results show that catechists are increasingly motivated and ready to face ministry challenges. The development of aspects of digitization of catechesis and deepening of the liturgy is suggested as a sustainability measure.
