The problem addressed in this community service project is the low understanding of PKBM Permata Paket B students in applying mathematics to everyday life. The objective of this study is to improve students' understanding of mathematics through context-based learning, as well as to stimulate their interest and independence in solving problems involving numbers. The method used is a contextual teaching approach involving group discussions, problem-solving exercises, and real-life problem applications. The results show that context-based mathematics learning significantly improved students' understanding of budgeting, expenses, and personal finance management. Students also showed increased active participation in learning activities and a better ability to connect mathematical theory with practical problems in their daily lives. This program also had a positive impact on social empowerment, increasing students' independence in managing their daily lives. However, challenges related to understanding more complex concepts remain, and it is recommended to use more varied methods and extend the learning time in the future.

Literacy is one of the key factors that hinders the development of human resources. To improve the quality of human resources, it is essential to focus on eliminating illiteracy within the population. One of the primary goals of this outreach activity is to enhance the literacy skills of the local community in Sitanggal Village, located in Larangan District, Brebes Regency, Central Java. The residents of Sitanggal Village primarily rely on farming and entrepreneurship for their income. However, due to the village's isolated location, difficult access, and low economic status, many residents face challenges in accessing proper education. As a result, the illiteracy rate in this area is relatively high, further exacerbating the cycle of poverty. To address this issue, a collaboration has been established with the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) Danawangsa Sitanggal, which has facilitated the eradication of illiteracy within the community. The literacy skills of the participants were assessed both before and after the program implementation using pre-tests and post-tests. The participants, aged between 35 and 59 years, totaled 50 individuals. The program was conducted in three stages: reading, writing, and arithmetic. Each stage was structured around specially designed teaching modules, employing engaging and interactive methods to ensure the participants' active involvement. The results of the program were highly encouraging. The participants' reading skills improved significantly, rising from 10% to 64%. Their writing skills saw a notable increase from 40% to 82%, and their counting skills improved drastically from 80% to 100%. These improvements highlight the success of the program and demonstrate the positive impact that literacy education can have on enhancing the overall quality of life for individuals in marginalized communities.

This community service project aimed to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of using English-language YouTube videos to improve listening skills at Package C Community Learning Centers (PKBM) in Banjarmasin City. Listening skills have been identified as a major challenge for students at PKBM due to limited exposure to authentic materials and real-world language. This research utilized a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest format involving 30 students from a local PKBM. The implementation stages included interactive lectures, YouTube video screenings, followed by discussions and question-and-answer sessions, with the effectiveness assessed through pretests and posttests. The quantitative results revealed a significant improvement in listening comprehension, with the average listening score increasing from 82.9 in the pretest to 86.7 in the posttest, reflecting a positive impact of the intervention. In addition to the quantitative results, the qualitative data highlighted high levels of student engagement and motivation throughout the learning process. Many students expressed that the YouTube videos made the content more relatable and enjoyable, which contributed to a deeper understanding of the material. This suggests that the use of YouTube videos is not only effective in enhancing listening skills but also fosters a more interactive and student-centered learning environment, making the learning experience more relevant to the needs of non-formal learners. The study concludes that YouTube videos are a promising and innovative tool for improving English language teaching at PKBM, providing accessible and engaging resources that can bridge the gap between formal and informal learning environments, helping students connect better with the material.

The growing demand for coffee drinks has created significant opportunities in the coffee shop sector, especially for young people. However, in the Pagerbarang Kabupaten Tegal area, the majority of young people still lack the skills needed to professionally run a coffee business or the technical abilities of a barista. In response to this situation, this community service activity was implemented with the aim of providing training in coffee shop management and basic barista skills to increase the competitiveness of young people in the creative economy sector. This training was developed through a participatory approach integrating interactive classes for understanding theory, direct practice for skill acquisition, and support in developing a business plan as a first step towards entrepreneurship. This activity revealed an increase in participants' skills and understanding of coffee shop management and operations, customer relations, and fundamental coffee service skills. Participants also expressed a strong interest in starting their own businesses. This initiative is expected to serve as a catalyst for encouraging an entrepreneurial spirit among young people and contributing to the sustainable development of the local economy

This study aims to understand the concept of takror learning in strengthening students' memorization, to examine the implementation of takror learning in strengthening the memorization of students in the tahfidz program of TPQ at the Great Mosque of Az-Zuhud, Petanahan, Kebumen, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of takror learning in the tahfidz program of TPQ at the Great Mosque of Az-Zuhud, Petanahan, Kebumen. This research uses a qualitative field method with interview and observation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the concept of takror learning implemented at the TPQ tahfidz program of the Great Mosque of Az-Zuhud, Petanahan, Kebumen is intended to strengthen students’ memorization. Takror learning is divided into two types: classical and individual. The process of takror learning also involves several stages. The takror learning implemented in the tahfidz program at TPQ of the Great Mosque of Az-Zuhud, Petanahan, Kebumen is carried out individually and classically. Individual learning is applie d after classical learning is completed, where students review their memorization and receive guidance from an ustadz (male teacher) or ustadzah (female teacher). Meanwhile, classical learning is conducted by collectively reviewing memorization in front of the ustadz or ustadzah. The factors supporting the implementation of takror learning there include time availability and the presence of PKBM (Community Learning Activity Center) activities. In contrast, the inhibiting factors are mostly related to age, which makes it difficult for students to manage their time during the learning process
