The increasing demand for paper has led to a shortage of wood-based raw materials, thus requiring environmentally friendly alternatives. This study aims to analyze the physical, mechanical, and morphological characteristics of paper made from cassava peels (Manihot esculenta Crantz) and oil palm fruit fibers (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) as eco-friendly paper raw materials. The research method involved pulp preparation through delignification using 3.5% HNO₃ and 3% NaOH, bleaching with 10% H₂O₂, paper sheet formation with varying compositions (A = 70:30, B = 50:50, C = 30:70, D = 10:90), followed by grammage testing and tensile strain testing. The results showed that the grammage values ranged between 96.3–99.7 g/m², while tensile strain ranged between 2.6–4.4%. The study concluded that the best composition was found in sample C (30% cassava peel : 70% palm fiber) with a grammage of 98.5 g/m² and tensile strain of 3.2%. The implication of this study is that cassava peel and palm fiber waste have the potential to serve as alternative paper raw materials that meet the quality standards of A-grade printing paper (SNI 7274:2008), while also supporting the reduction of dependence on wood.

Processing plastic waste into fuel oil with pyrolysis technology. Research on plastic oil as an alternative fuel has been widely conducted. One of them is research on processing plastic bag waste into fuel oil with pyrolysis technology. In this study, a set of pyrolysis equipment was made by Lecturers and Students of UMNU Kebumen. The plastic waste used in this study was 1 kg of plastic bag. Meanwhile, the pyrolysis process used a temperature of 250oC-300oC. The fuel oil produced in the pyrolysis process of this study was approximately 400 ml. The average density of fuel oil from plastic bag waste was 0.733 gr/ml. The results of this density calculation are in the possibility of the density of gasoline, namely 0.710 gr/ml to 0.770 gr/ml. This pyrolysis process shows great potential for converting plastic waste into an environmentally friendly alternative energy source. Furthermore, the efficiency of this pyrolysis technology can be improved by adjusting the temperature and processing time, as well as by selecting a wider variety of plastic types. This technology has the potential to be applied more widely in plastic waste management within the community as a solution to reduce environmental pollution while generating renewable energy.

The welfare of the community in the economic sector is one of the benchmarks for the welfare of the community, there are many people who experience poverty which is motivated by economic factors, the national amil zakat agency offers the jatim Makmur program. a program that really needs manpower considering that there are several workshop equipment that must be distributed to mustahik to do business. The method of assistance in the activities carried out by the national amil zakat agency of East Java province is an annual program activity, namely the Makmur program, which is carried out from July 14-16. One of the programs of the national amil zakat agency of East Java province, namely the Makmur program, is a program that moves in the economic field, which has two objectives, namely the development and empowerment of the economy in the community, the Makmur program distributes work equipment assistance z auto, some of the work equipment assistance distributed is among others such as Grobak workshops, workshop tools, other than that the amil zakat agency not only provides assistance in the form of z auto repair shop equipment but along with the basic materials needed by the workshopsuchas stock oil, andso on, the distribution of work equipment assistance Z auto Makmur jatim program has a positive value for the community, namely providing benefits regarding the empowerment and development of mustahik so that z auto repair shop business actors are able to become muzakki and donate a little of their wealth to people in need, assistance in the distribution of the jatim Makmur program is in accordance with the category of 8 asnaf at least with the category of poor or underprivileged people.

Anxiety is a common psychological response experienced by contraceptive users, particularly among implant acceptors. Feelings of anxiety may arise due to hormonal changes, fear of side effects, and unpleasant experiences during contraceptive insertion. Aromatherapy using lavender essential oil has been shown to produce a calming effect through the activation of the limbic system and regulation of neurotransmitters, making it a potential method for reducing anxiety. This study aimed to determine the effect of lavender essential oil therapy on reducing anxiety among contraceptive implant acceptors at Tiley Health Center. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach was employed. A total of 30 respondents were randomly divided into treatment and control groups. The treatment group received inhalation of lavender essential oil for 10 minutes daily over three consecutive days, while the control group received no intervention. Anxiety levels were measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). The results indicated a significant reduction in anxiety scores in the treatment group before and after the intervention (p < 0.001), while the control group showed no meaningful difference (p > 0.05). These findings demonstrate that lavender essential oil aromatherapy is effective in reducing anxiety among implant contraceptive acceptors. This non-pharmacological therapy can be recommended as an easy, affordable, and safe complementary intervention in midwifery care services.

The problem with a 4-stroke gasoline engine-driven electric generator is a decrease in tool performance due to wear on important components for the stator, cooling fan, air filter, oil filter, and gasket. The purpose of component replacement planning is to obtain replacement costs, maintenance schedules in 2027, and the ratio of maintenance costs to profits. The component replacement planning method includes collecting maintenance data from previous years, applying the inspection-replace-repair-overhaul (IRRO) method, assessing component conditions, predicting component lifespan, predicting labor costs, predicting supporting equipment to be used in maintenance, predicting spare part replacement times, predicting maintenance costs in 2027, and calculating the ratio of maintenance costs to profits. The results of the replacement planning obtained maintenance costs in 2027 amounting to IDR 570,007,- with an estimated electric generator rental rate of IDR 30,000,-/hour which has the potential to be rented for 128 hours/year, a profit of IDR 3,840,000,- was obtained, and the ratio of maintenance costs to profits was 14.84% which implies that a 2.5 kW electric generator that uses gasoline-pertalite fuel of around 1.5 liters/hour at maximum power is still suitable for use in the next few years and has the potential to generate profits.

Oil and natural gas are vital resources for the state, and their management must be carried out carefully and transparently. However, the complexity of existing management is often exploited by irresponsible parties to commit corruption that harms state finances. This study aims to analyze how criminal law regulates the accountability of perpetrators in the oil management corruption case at Pertamina in 2025. The method used is normative juridical, by reviewing laws and regulations regarding corruption, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), and related legal literature. The results of the study indicate that criminal liability in this case is not only directed at individual officials, but also corporations or companies. This is because the element of mens rea (malicious intent) was found in the act. Therefore, law enforcement must focus more on recovering state losses and improving Pertamina's internal oversight system, rather than simply imprisoning the perpetrators.

This study aims to examine the relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure and profitability with firm value. The research was conducted on companies in the oil, gas, and coal sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2024 period. The independent variables in this study are corporate social responsibility disclosure and profitability, while firm size is employed as a control variable. Firm value is proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV), whereas profitability is measured using Return on Equity (ROE). This study is grounded in Stakeholder Theory and Signaling Theory to explain the relationships among the variables. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in 29 companies. The data analysis techniques applied include Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression to examine both the simple relationships and the effects of corporate social responsibility disclosure and profitability on firm value. The results indicate that corporate social responsibility disclosure has a negative relationship with firm value, while profitability shows a positive and significant relationship with firm value.

This research was conducted at PT PLN Nusantara Power UP Paiton, one of the largest coal-fired power plants (PLTU) in Indonesia, which focuses on reducing the generation of hazardous and toxic oil waste through the implementation of an oil purification system. The use of large amounts of lubricating oil in the Electro-Hydraulic System (EHS) has the potential to produce high amounts of used oil waste. To address this, the company implemented two main technologies, namely Water Content and Varnish Removal, which function to reduce water content and varnish layers so that the oil can be reused without reducing engine performance. This research used a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through field observations, interviews, and operational documentation from 2021 to 2024. The results showed that the oil purification system was able to reduce hazardous and toxic waste generation by 11.46 tons over four years. In addition to providing environmental benefits, the implementation of this system also resulted in savings in oil waste costs of approximately Rp6,200,560,000. Technically, purification maintains engine performance by reducing water and varnish content, while from an environmental perspective, this activity supports the principle of reduce in hazardous and toxic waste management. Overall, the oil purification system has proven effective in improving operational efficiency, extending oil life, and supporting sustainable waste management for industrial operations.

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of company size and Good Corporate Governance (Institutional Ownership, Independent Board of Commissioners, and Audit Committee) on Company Value in energy sector issuers listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021–2024 period. The research method applied in this study is a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from company annual reports. The population includes energy companies operating in the Oil, Gas, and Coal sub-sectors. The sample was determined through purposive sampling, resulting in 60 data observations consisting of 15 companies over four consecutive years. The analytical technique employed utilizes SPSS software version 55 with multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationships among variables. The results indicate that company size significantly influences company value. Good corporate governance proxied by institutional ownership shows a negative effect on firm value, while independent commissioners and audit committees have no significant effect. Simultaneous findings confirm that company size and good corporate governance together influence firm value.

Cooking oil is a staple food widely used in daily cooking. However, repeated use of cooking oil, resulting in its conversion into used cooking oil, can have negative impacts on both health and the environment. Used cooking oil that has changed color and quality is carcinogenic and has the potential to increase the risk of cardiovascular disease if consumed again. Furthermore, improper disposal of used cooking oil can cause environmental pollution because it is difficult to decompose. This study aims to examine the wise management of household waste, especially used cooking oil, by utilizing it into products with utility value. One form of utilization is processing used cooking oil into environmentally friendly soap for laundry purposes. This activity was carried out as a form of community service through training in making soap from used cooking oil with the addition of essential oils for aromatherapy for residents of Pasar Rawa Village, Gebang District, Langkat Regency. The research method used was qualitative, with observation and direct participation in the training activities. The results showed that participants, particularly housewives, demonstrated high enthusiasm and were actively involved in both the presentation and the soap-making practices. This activity not only raised public awareness of the importance of managing used cooking oil waste but also provided new skills that have the potential to support family economic growth.

This study aims to analyze the influence of prices and productivity on the welfare of independent oil palm farmers in Andabia Village, Anggaberi District, Konawe Regency. The number of respondents in this study was 24 people taken by census. The analysis method used includes descriptive statistical analysis, with multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the influence of the palm oil price variable on the welfare of oil palm farmers is 0.02 one unit with a calculated t value greater than the t table value (1.924> 1.720) and a significance level smaller than 0.05 (0.02 <0.05) partially has a significant effect on the welfare of oil palm farmers. The influence of the productivity variable on the welfare of oil palm farmers is 0.000 one unit, with a calculated t value greater than the t table value (5.046> 1.663) and a significance level smaller than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) partially has a significant effect on the welfare of oil palm farmers. The influence of palm oil price and productivity variables simultaneously has a significant influence on the welfare of oil palm farmers. From the F test, the results of the calculation of F count> F table (170,465> 3.07) with a significance level of 0.001 <0.05. This shows that the price and productivity variables together have a significant influence on the welfare of farmers in Andabia Village, Anggaberi District, Konawe Regency.

Automatic motorcycle spare part sales have increased along with the high use of automatic two-wheeled vehicles in the community. To support optimal sales strategies and stock management, customer purchasing pattern analysis is required. This study uses the FP-Growth algorithm to identify association patterns between automatic motorcycle spare part products that are frequently purchased together. FP-Growth was chosen because of its ability to efficiently find frequent itemsets without the need to generate candidate itemsets as in the Apriori algorithm. Transaction data is processed to form an FP-Tree which is then extracted to find relationships between items. The analysis results show combinations of products that frequently appear together, such as brake pads and engine oil, which can be used as a basis for compiling sales packages, product placement, and product recommendations. By implementing the FP-Growth algorithm, spare part stores or workshops can improve service and efficiency in sales management.

Corrective maintenance is one of the maintenance strategies performed after system failures or malfunctions occur, particularly in diesel power plants (PLTD) that play a crucial role in supplying electricity to remote areas such as Jayapura. This study aims to identify the types of failures occurring in diesel engines at the Jayapura PLTD and to evaluate the corrective maintenance actions implemented. Data were collected through direct observation during an internship program, interviews with technicians, and analysis of historical maintenance and failure records. The results indicate that the most common failures occurred in the lubrication system, fuel system, and cooling system. Corrective actions included component repairs, spare part replacements, and system adjustments. The application of timely and appropriate corrective maintenance significantly reduced machine downtime and improved the reliability of the power generation system. This study recommends integrating corrective and preventive maintenance strategies to maximize operational efficiency of the PLTD.

The oil and gas industry plays a crucial role in meeting global energy needs, with crude oil from production wells being the primary product of upstream operations. Prior to further processing, crude oil requires pretreatment at the production site, one of the key stages being phase separation using a flash separator. This study examines the effect of variations in cooling temperature on the performance of liquid phase separation and energy requirements in the flash separation process of light hydrocarbons. The analysis was conducted through process simulation using Aspen HYSYS version 14.2 with the Peng Robinson property package. The feed stream had a mass rate of 10,000 kg per hour, a temperature of 50°F, and atmospheric pressure, with compositions of ethane, propane, isobutane, and normal butane. The process configuration included compression, cooling, and phase separation in a flash separator at a constant pressure of 50 psia. Variations in cooling temperature were applied at 20, 10, and 0°C. The simulation results indicated a thermodynamic critical point at 10°C. At 20°C, no liquid phase was formed, while at 10°C, significant liquid yield was obtained with moderate energy consumption. Lowering the temperature to 0°C dramatically increases liquid recovery, but the cooling energy requirement also increases sharply. Sensitivity analysis confirms a strong inverse relationship between temperature and condensation yield, as well as a surge in energy consumption at low temperatures. The optimal operating condition is set at 10°C, providing a balance between separation efficiency and energy efficiency in accordance with sustainable manufacturing principles.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the price of packaged cooking oil and bulk cooking oil on the elasticity of demand as one of the staple foods in Ciawitali Market, Garut Regency. The approach used is a quantitative descriptive method with a focus on associative analysis. Data were collected through observation and interviews in the period of September and October 2025. Then processed using simple linear regression analysis and demand elasticity analysis. The results show that the demand for both types of cooking oil is strongly influenced by price. For packaged cooking oil, it shows that 81.6% of the variation is influenced by price while the rest is influenced by other factors. For bulk cooking oil, it shows that 94.1% is influenced by price with an elasticity value of -6.346, which also shows elastic properties but lower than packaged oil which has an elasticity of -22.15. These results indicate that the increase in the price of packaged and bulk oil significantly reduces the amount of demand, with the greatest effect occurring on packaged oil because consumers tend to switch to more economical bulk oil.

This community service program aims to enhance students’ knowledge and awareness regarding natural cosmetic formulations through training on the development of a natural deodorant balm, “Nature DeoBalm.” The activity was conducted at the Entrepreneurship Laboratory of UIN Palangka Raya and involved fifth-semester students of the Biology Education Department as participants. The training integrates promotive and applicative approaches, combining theoretical education on the risks of synthetic deodorants with direct observation of the production process for natural deodorant balm. The program emphasized the use of safe, plant-based ingredients such as beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter, vitamin E, and essential oils, which are known for their antibacterial, moisturizing, and skin-protecting properties. The implementation included several stages: preparation, material presentation, demonstration of the formulation process, product observation, evaluation, and documentation. Results showed that students demonstrated increased understanding of natural cosmetic components, formulation techniques, and the benefits of natural deodorants. They also developed a heightened awareness of environmentally friendly personal care products and showed interest in exploring entrepreneurial opportunities in herbal-based cosmetics. This program highlights the importance of introducing natural cosmetic innovation in higher education environments as a way to build scientific literacy, practical skills, and entrepreneurial competence. Overall, the activity successfully provided meaningful learning experiences and promoted the utilization of natural ingredients as sustainable alternatives to synthetic deodorant products.

Food-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting household economic growth, including in Sialang Village, Bangkinang Subdistrict. One of the local businesses, “Keripik Cabe dan Mie Kuning Bu Inun,” produces cassava chips using traditional frying methods, which result in high oil absorption, inconsistent quality, short shelf life, and low production efficiency. Limited knowledge of food processing technology, sanitation, and food safety standards further hinders business development. This community service program aims to address these challenges through the application of low-oil frying technology, training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), production assistance, and periodic evaluation. The implementation method includes field observation, technical training, technology demonstration, production mentoring, and monitoring. The results show significant improvements in product quality, indicated by lower oil content, crispier texture, brighter color, and longer shelf life. Efficiency in oil usage and process stability also increased. Moreover, the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in sanitation, food safety, and production management improved considerably. Overall, the program successfully enhanced the competitiveness of the MSME, strengthened production sustainability, and provided positive economic impacts. This initiative can serve as a replicable model for other food MSMEs facing similar challenges.

The crankshaft is a vital component of an engine that converts the linear motion of the piston into rotational motion to produce mechanical power for electricity generation. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and literature review. The objective of this research is to analyze the factors contributing to the occurrence of cracks in the crankshaft of a diesel engine used as a generator prime mover. The findings indicate that the cracks are primarily caused by contamination of the lubricating oil with water, resulting from leakage in the lubricating oil cooler or tube oil cooler. Another contributing factor is the loosening of the connecting rod bolts, which may occur if they are not tightened to the specified torque or if a torque wrench is not used during installation. Corrective measures undertaken include replacing the gasket, repairing or replacing the leaking tube oil cooler, and retightening the connecting rod bolts using a torque wrench in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

This study analyzes the practice of staple food price manipulation at Cik Puan Market in Pekanbaru, which is alleged to be carried out by a group of traders through stockpiling, supply coordination, and price regulation that could potentially cause market distortions. This phenomenon has led to unreasonable price increases in strategic commodities such as chili, onions, rice, cooking oil, and chicken, thereby negatively affecting consumers and regional economic stability. This research uses a normative juridical approach with descriptive qualitative analysis methods, supported by empirical data from local government reports, official news, and findings from trade department supervision. The results of the study indicate that these price manipulation practices are in violation of Articles 5, 11, and 19 of Law No. 5 of 1999 about Consumer Protection. This study emphasizes that the weak supervision of the supply chain in traditional markets, as well as the minimal coordination between agencies, causes price manipulation practices to continue repeatedly. It is necessary to strengthen law enforcement, ensure transparency in the distribution of basic necessities, and enhance the role of local governments and the KPPU in order to create stable, competitive, and fair prices for the public.
