Multicultural counseling is a procedure including counselors and counselees with different cultural backgrounds, multicultural counselors need to understand multicultural factors that are in accordance with the conditions of guidance counselees. This research used a qualitative methodology, specifically a literature review, that consists of obtaining data sources relevant to the research issue. The primary data source is derived from the article manuscript, which will be evaluated through descriptive analysis.The purpose of this research is to enhance understanding related to multicultural guidance and counseling models. The findings of this research encompass (1) the concept of multicultural guidance and counseling, (2) multicultural guidance and counseling models, and (3) types of multicultural guidance and counseling in Indonesia.

This research was conducted to examine global developments in an increasingly complex and dynamic multicultural society, so that Christian Religious Education (PAK) is important to adapt to the challenges and developments that exist. Things that are currently present in society are plurality, multiculturalism, ethical challenges, technological developments, social change, conflicts between communities, and consumerism. Based on these emerging issues, the importance of integrating PAK values into character development in forming leaders that are relevant to the global context is highlighted. In terms of leadership in biblical teachings, Christian leaders must uphold the rules contained in the teachings of Christianity and be able to keep up with global developments in a multicultural society. This becomes a challenge for a leader who upholds the teachings of the Bible to be able to respect the diversity of views and opinions to be able to produce decisions that are universal for the whole community. The research method in this paper uses descriptive qualitative with a systematic literature review and is supported by the literacy of international journals, theological articles, and theological teaching books. Based on the results of the research study that has been carried out, leadership in the teachings of the Bible in a society that has diversity, there are teaching values contained in the PAK that can generally be applied to all people without discrimination because these values are in accordance with universal values. The conclusion that can be drawn in this study is that leaders have an important role in building unity in a diverse society by appreciating diversity and being able to overcome conflict, namely by practicing the principles of Christian leadership values to form good and effective leaders.

This study investigates the role of Christian public theology in advancing social transformation, with particular emphasis on social justice, intercommunal solidarity, and sustainable development. Employing a qualitative methodology grounded in critical literature review, the research explores the engagement of public theology with the prevailing contexts of multiculturalism, globalisation, and popular culture. The findings reveal that public theology functions as a vital bridge between Christian faith—which proclaims Jesus Christ as the sole Saviour and restorer of creation—and tangible societal change within both private and public spheres. The study underscores the distinctive character of Christian public theology as an authentic and contextual agent of transformation, upholding the integrity of the Gospel message.

Multicultural education in Indonesia is a response to the diversity of cultures, ethnicities, religions, and languages that exist in this country. This article discusses the paradigm of multicultural education based on Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as an approach to creating social harmony and increasing tolerance in a plural society. This approach integrates Islamic values with the principles of multiculturalism to create an educational environment that is inclusive, fair and respectful of differences. Thus, education can serve as a guideline for implementing the educational process in order to progress and become better.

This research examines the concepts of identity and tolerance within the context of multiculturalism, focusing on the ideas of Bhikhu Parekh. The background of this study stems from the increasing complexity of social interactions in multicultural societies, where individual and group identities continue to evolve. The objective of this research is to analyze how identity is formed in multicultural societies and the role of tolerance in addressing potential conflicts. The methodology employed is a qualitative approach through literature analysis, reviewing Parekh's works and other relevant sources. The findings indicate that identity is not a static entity but rather a result of dynamic social interactions. Furthermore, tolerance is viewed as a crucial solution in alleviating tensions between groups. The implications of this research emphasize the need for inclusive public policies that promote intercultural dialogue and protect individual rights without neglecting community values. Consequently, this study contributes to the understanding of the importance of identity and tolerance in creating harmonious societies.

Indonesia is a country rich in cultural diversity, ethnicities, and traditions, which are essential aspects of its national identity. The traditions and natural beauty of Indonesia have become a significant part of shaping the norms and values of its people. Fine arts, particularly painting, serve as an effective medium for representing this cultural richness. Story of Love by Abdullah Ibnu Thalhah uses wayang symbols, an Indonesian cultural heritage, blended with global pop culture characters like Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants. Through a semiotic approach, this study aims to explore the meanings within Story of Love, showcasing the interaction between local culture and elements of pop culture. This painting not only reflects Indonesia's cultural identity but also demonstrates how fine art can respond and adapt to modern influences, reinforcing multiculturalism amid global developments.

Jungkook appeared by singing the official World Cup soundtrack entitled Dreamers with singer and song producer from Qatar, Fahad Al-Kubaisi. The purpose of this study was to investigate the meaning of the Dreamers soundtrack and related reasons for choosing Jungkook to appear singing the official World Cup soundtrack through the literature review method. The findings show that in general it is effective because there are things in the TEAR indicator and related to the slogans of this World Cup, such as multiculturalism, diversity and peace.

This research elucidates the impact of globalization on the content and subjects of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah curriculum, focusing on the challenges and opportunities it presents. The study utilizes a combination of literature review and thematic analysis to explore the influence of globalization on the curriculum and the strategies employed by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to strike a balance between traditional Islamic teachings and global knowledge and skills. The findings reveal that globalization has influenced the content and subjects taught in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah curriculum by necessitating the incorporation of global perspectives, emphasizing universal values, and contextualizing global knowledge within an Islamic framework. However, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah faces challenges in adapting its curriculum, including the need to ensure the preservation of Islamic teachings, address cultural sensitivities, and navigate societal expectations. Despite challenges, globalization offers opportunities for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to enhance its curriculum and prepare students for a globalized world. This includes fostering intercultural communication, promoting global citizenship, encouraging critical thinking, nurturing tolerance and inclusion, and developing cultural sensitivity. The incorporation of global perspectives significantly impacts students' understanding of diversity and multiculturalism by exposing them to different cultures, challenging stereotypes, promoting intercultural communication, and fostering a sense of global citizenship.
