This study examines the use of Book Creator in increasing creativity in writing persuasive speeches for grade VIII.3 students at SMP Pupuk Kujang. The researcher implemented PTK (Classroom Action Research) through several steps, including (1) identifying stages in increasing creativity in writing persuasive speeches using Book Creator in grade VIII.3 students at SMP Pupuk Kujang, (2) carrying out measurements related to increasing student creativity in writing persuasive speeches using Book Creator in grade VIII.3 students, and (3) collecting student responses to the use of Book Creator in supporting creativity write their persuasive speeches. Students in grade VIII.3 are designated as research subjects, and data is collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and tests. The results of the descriptive-analytic analysis showed that: (1) the teaching process conducted by the teacher was effective, (2) the use of Book Creator media effectively improves students' ability to write persuasive speeches, as evidenced by the increase in the average classical score from 64.28 in the first cycle to 85.14 in the second cycle, and (3) students' reactions to using Book Creator in the classroom were favorable.

This research aims to describe the abilities of grade 5 students in writing persuasive texts. This research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research involved one of the 5th grade elementary school students. The data collection technique in this research is the assignment technique for writing persuasive texts. The data collected shows that students are quite capable of writing persuasive texts well, seen from the aspect of text structure and linguistic rules of persuasive texts that students have written, but there are still some difficulties experienced by students in writing persuasive texts so they need guidance and direction from the teacher. to overcome errors so that students can improve their abilities in writing persuasive texts.

This research aims to describe students’ ability in writing persuasive text before and after using group discussion method in class VIII students of SMPN 37 Medan. The research method used was experimental with one group pretest postest design. The instruments used were pretest and postest written tests. The results showed that before using the group discussion method, students’ ability in writing persuasive texts was still lacking with an average score 59,37. However, after using the group discussion method, students’ abilities improved to good with an average score of 77,73. Data analysis showed a significant effect of group discussion method on students’ persuasive text writing ability. This is evidenced by the result of statistical calculations that show the normality test of pretest and postest data is normally distributed, the homogeneity test states that the sample is homogeneous, and the hypothesis test rejects H0 and accepts Ha. This research implies that the group discussion method is effective in improving students’ persuasive text writing ability in class VIII of SMPN 37 Medan.

This study identified the challenges faced by students in writing persuasive texts, as well as exploring the potential for implementing PBL to improve writing skills. This research was conducted using the classroom action research method in class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Medan in the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 32 students. Actions taken by applying the Problem-Based Learning learning model. This research was conducted in two cycles. Based on the results of research on student activity, it was found that the average value of student activity at the first meeting was 65.15%, at the second meeting, the percentage of activity value was 77.07%. The average value of student activity at meeting III was 70.09%, including the active category. Meanwhile, at the fourth meeting, the percentage of activity values ​​was 72.66% and if it was included in the criteria for student activity, this student activity was included in the active category. Overall, if an average of each cycle is obtained, the results of persuasive text writing skills have increased from 71.61% (active enough category) in cycle I to 71.37% (active category) in cycle II, which means an increase of 9. 76 %. Thus it can be seen that the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the skills of writing persuasive texts and students understand learning material more easily.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Media Foto Beriorientasi Kehidupan Sosial Dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Persuasif Pada SMA Negeri 1 Lawe Bulan Tahun Pembelajaran 2021/2022. Jumlah Informan dalam penelitian ini siswa 21 yaitu kelas X IPA . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah diuraikan pada bab terdahulu maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Teks Persuasif Melalui Foto Berorientasi Kehidupan Sosial Oleh Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Lawe Bulan Tahun Pembelajaran 2021/2022. Hal itu terbukti dari nilai rata-rata tes awal Efektivitas Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Persuasifsiswa adalah sebesar 60.62 dengan standar deviasinya sebesar 7.61 dan mengalami peningkatan nilai hasil tes akhirnya dengan nilai rata-ratanya sebesar 81.57 dengan standar deviasinya sebesar 5.83 Berdasarkan data hasil tes awal dan tes akhir siswa tersebut dan jika dikaitkan dengan nilai KKM bahasa Indonesia untuk  SMA  sebesar 75, maka Efektivitas Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Persuasif untuk tes akhir siswa termasuk dalam Kemampuan baik. Selain itu, pada nilai tobservasi > ttabel yakni 9.79 > 2,08 maka dengan demikian dari hasil pengujian hipotesis di atas diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ada Efektivitas Keterampilan Menulis Teks Persuasif Melalui Foto Berorientasi Kehidupan Sosial Oleh Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Lawe Bulan Tahun Pembelajaran 2021/2022
