This study examines the role of the creative economy in enhancing sustainable tourism potential in Pampang Cultural Village, Samarinda, Indonesia, and identifies strategic priorities for its development. Pampang Cultural Village is recognized for its rich cultural heritage preserved by the Dayak Kenyah community, which serves as a valuable tourism asset. Despite this potential, the contribution of creative economy activities to tourism development has not been fully optimized. Therefore, a comprehensive analysis is needed to formulate effective development strategies. This research employs a mixed qualitative–quantitative approach using the SWOT-AHP method. SWOT analysis is utilized to identify internal strengths and weaknesses as well as external opportunities and threats affecting creative economy development. Subsequently, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied to determine the priority level of each strategic factor and alternative strategy. The findings indicate that the village possesses significant creative economy potential in cultural performances, handicrafts, culinary products, traditional fashion, and cultural souvenirs. Cultural authenticity emerges as the primary strength, while limited innovation capacity and digital marketing skills remain the major weaknesses. The results further reveal that the highest-priority strategy is the development of innovative creative tourism products rooted in Dayak Kenyah cultural heritage while preserving cultural authenticity. This strategy should be supported by digital promotion, human resource capacity building, stakeholder collaboration, and improvements in tourism infrastructure to achieve sustainable tourism development.

This community engagement initiative was prompted by students’ limited understanding of how to package local content into educational products with economic value, as well as the suboptimal integration of entrepreneurial values into teaching. The aim of this initiative is to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students through edupreneurship, developed in the form of an exhibition based on local product. The method employed was the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which involved students as active participants in the training, production, and marketing of local products, as well as in the organisation of the exhibition. The activity began with training on the basic concepts of edupreneurship, product packaging, and marketing strategies. The exhibition showcased various creative products such as food & beverage, eco bodycare, eco living style, and fashion accesories featuring local product motifs. This activity successfully enhanced students’ capacity for critical thinking, innovation, and productive collaboration. An entrepreneurship talk show held concurrently further strengthened students’ motivation and entrepreneurial insights. The results of the activity demonstrated that the management  exhibition effectively served as a medium for transforming local product such as food & beverage, eco bodycare, ecoliving style, fashion accesories learning into a contextual, practical, and economically valuable experience through the edupreneurship approach.

This study aims to analyze the determinants of success of PT Makmur Susanti Group, a processed food MSME in Tulungagung, East Java, in achieving “Born Global” status by bypassing the traditional incremental internationalization process and penetrating global markets within only 2.5 years. The research employed a qualitative approach using a single case study method. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with the owner as the key informant, participatory observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the company’s rapid internationalization was supported by three main factors, namely visionary managerial capability reflected in entrepreneurial alertness, continuous product innovation through selective raw material use and flavor localization, and the optimal utilization of digital ecosystems such as B2B platforms and Alibaba. In addition, the study identified a “symbiotic” business model involving export aggregators to serve diaspora niche markets, which challenges the conventional assumption that Born Global firms must independently manage international logistics. Furthermore, the owner’s legal background became a strategic advantage in addressing complex halal regulations and international certification requirements. This research contributes a new perspective on the phenomenon of “non-intentional” Born Global firms and highlights the importance of legal-formal competence for MSMEs, while also providing practical insights for regional MSMEs in integrating local comparative advantages with global competitive standards.

This study analyzes the role of supporter fanaticism and loyalty in influencing the purchase decisions of official PSMS Medan merchandise. A qualitative descriptive method was employed through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, supported by secondary data from literature studies. The results show that fanaticism is reflected in emotional attachment, active involvement, long-term support, and social environmental influences. Supporter loyalty appears in consistent attendance at matches, following games, discussing the club, and repeated purchases of official merchandise. Purchase decisions are influenced by product type, design/form, and quantity, while also considering financial capability. Overall, fanaticism shapes emotional bonding, whereas loyalty drives repeated purchasing behavior; both contribute significantly to merchandise purchasing. These findings highlight the importance of design innovation, product quality improvement, and marketing strategies based on emotional and historical attachment to the club. The development of Indonesia’s traditional cuisine faces significant hurdles as shifting consumer preferences increasingly favor modern food options. This trend necessitates innovative approaches to ensure local culinary heritage remains competitive. This study examines the role of sociopreneurship as an innovation strategy at Ingkung Djawa Waroeng Ndesso. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative design, the research gathered insights from the business owner and employees selected via purposive sampling. Data collection involved interviews, observations, and documentation, with validity ensured through source triangulation. The analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, encompassing data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that implementing sociopreneurship effectively integrates economic and social objectives by preserving authentic recipes, empowering local communities, and generating employment. Key innovations include diversifying product offerings while maintaining authenticity and leveraging social media for strategic marketing. These results demonstrate that social entrepreneurship serves as a powerful mechanism for enhancing business competitiveness while safeguarding cultural sustainability. The study implies that traditional culinary development can be successfully managed through a sociopreneurial framework, allowing for modern innovation without compromising core cultural values. Consequently, this model offers a sustainable pathway for traditional businesses to thrive amidst the challenges of contemporary market globalization.

The results of the study show that pricing strategy contributes dominantly to increasing sales, but the lack of digital promotion causes limited market reach. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in driving national economic development and providing employment. However, in facing an increasingly competitive market, MSMEs need to implement efficient marketing strategies to ensure sustainability and sustainable growth. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and assistance to Indonesian Es Teh MSMEs regarding the implementation of flexible marketing strategies, both through digital and traditional channels. The activity took place at the Es Teh Kampung Solo outlet in Kramatwatu Square. The methods used included counseling, training, and assessment of marketing strategy implementation, with a primary focus on optimizing social media as an interactive and competitive digital promotional tool. The results of this activity demonstrated a significant increase in MSMEs' understanding of strategic marketing planning, promotional innovation, and the use of digital platforms to expand market reach. Thus, it is hoped that digital-based marketing strategies can strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs. This activity is expected to contribute to increasing the competitiveness and sales volume of the Kampung Solo Es Teh MSME in a sustainable manner through the implementation of a modern marketing approach that is responsive to technological changes.

Health-related SMEs in Indonesia have significant opportunities to enter international markets, but many businesses still face limitations in digital capabilities, innovation, and readiness for external markets. This study aims to examine the influence of digital transformation on the success of health-related SMEs in going international, both directly and through business innovation as a mediator. The study employs a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey design involving 200 owners or key managers of SMEs in East Java, selected via purposive sampling. Data were analysed using Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that digital transformation has a positive influence on business innovation and the success of going international. Business innovation also has a positive effect on internationalisation success and mediates the relationship between digital transformation and external market success. These findings confirm that digitalisation should not merely be understood as an operational tool, but as a strategic capability that must be integrated with product, process, marketing, and business model innovation. The research implications emphasise the importance of strengthening digital capabilities and business innovation to enhance the global competitiveness of Indonesian health-related SMEs

This paper examines the shift in the economic paradigm in Indonesia through digitalization, driven by the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the transition towards Society 5.0. The people's economy based on SMEs faces significant new challenges and opportunities in this era. Using a literature approach and case studies, this article highlights how information technology plays a role not only as a marketing tool but also as an instrument to strengthen economic sovereignty in accordance with the mandate of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution. The findings indicate that the success of digital transformation depends on the synergy between supportive government policies, private sector innovation, and the adaptability of SME actors. In facing global challenges, the proposed strategy includes strengthening digital literacy for all levels of society and protecting the domestic market from the influx of foreign products that could threaten the sustainability of SMEs. This is crucial to ensure the future resilience of the national economy while also promoting the sustainable growth of the SME sector. Thus, digitalization is not only an efficiency solution but also a key factor in reinforcing Indonesia's people-based economy in the globalization era.

The purpose of this study is to examine how online promotion, product innovation, and brand image affect product competitiveness in Batam City's flower bucket equipment industry (CV Acmeteam). This study employs a quantitative methodology, gathering information from 100 respondents via questionnaires using Simple Random Sampling with Slovin formula from a population of 135 active customers. Data were analyzed through validity tests, reliability tests (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.750), classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity), multiple linear regression, partial t-test, simultaneous F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). Results show that all questionnaire items are valid and reliable. The normality test (Asymp. Sig. = 0.866 > 0.05) indicates normally distributed data, and no multicollinearity (VIF < 10) or heteroscedasticity (Sig. > 0.05) was detected. Regression analysis reveals that online promotion (β = 0.521, Sig. = 0.041), product innovation (β = 0.668, Sig. = 0.033), and brand image (β = 0.458, Sig. = 0.049) each significantly influence product competitiveness. Simultaneously, all three variables are significant (F = 9.876, Sig. = 0.000) and explain 44.9% (R² = 0.449) of product competitiveness variance. Product innovation is the strongest predictor. This study concludes that strong brand image, continuous product innovation, and effective digital marketing are essential pillars for enhancing product competitiveness. Business actors must optimize these three elements to compete effectively in an increasingly open creative industry market.

This study aims to determine the extent to which product innovation, brand image, and digital marketing influence the purchasing decisions of Scarlett Whitening consumers in the city of Batam. The subjects of this study are individuals who have used Scarlett Whitening products in Batam City in 2025. The population size could not be determined precisely, so the sample size was determined using the Lemeshow formula, with a total of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression, supported by a series of tests, including data quality tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis tests. The analysis results show that product innovation has an influence of 27.7%, brand image of 28.4%, and digital marketing of 26.5% on consumer purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination (R²) value indicates that simultaneously, these three variables can explain 28.9% of the variation in purchasing decisions. Furthermore, the results of the t-test and F-test prove that product innovation, brand image, and digital marketing have a significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on the purchasing decisions for Scarlett Whitening products in Batam City. This study explores the development strategies of sweet pastry Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) based on Islamic economic principles in improving the local economy in Betungan, Bengkulu City. MSMEs play a crucial role in supporting economic growth and creating employment opportunities, particularly in the culinary sector, which has experienced significant expansion in recent years. In Betungan, sweet pastry businesses have shown promising potential; however, their development is still hindered by several challenges, including limited capital, low product innovation, and less effective marketing practices. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation at Jl. Ar-Rahman, Sepakat 7, Betungan, Selebar District, Bengkulu City. The study also considers the application of Islamic business values, emphasizing ethical conduct such as honesty, fairness, accountability, and the avoidance of riba and uncertainty in transactions. The findings indicate that the sustainability and competitiveness of sweet pastry MSMEs can be enhanced through several key strategies, including continuous product innovation, improving product quality, optimizing digital marketing, and strengthening business networks. In addition, integrating Islamic principles into business operations helps build consumer trust and ensures ethical business practices. Overall, these strategies not only improve business performance but also contribute to strengthening the local economy and community welfare.

Digital transformation has brought fundamental changes to the structure and dynamics of modern industrial economics. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data not only modify production and distribution processes but also revolutionize marketing strategies and patterns of industrial competition. This study is motivated by the need to understand how digital marketing transformation influences the development of competitive advantage through changes in digital market structure from an industrial economics perspective. In this context, digital marketing functions as a strategic instrument that integrates technology, data, and consumer behavior into market mechanisms. The analysis shows that digitalization creates a network-based market structure characterized by the concentration of economic power in major digital platforms and dominance in data control. This structure affects the intensity of competition, the direction of innovation, and patterns of industry differentiation. Digital marketing transformation enhances efficiency, expands market access, and lowers entry barriers for new players, yet it also creates competitive imbalances due to the dominance of large platforms.Through a digital Structure–Conduct–Performance (SCP) approach, the study finds that market structure acts as an intermediary variable that channels the impact of digitalization on competitive advantage. Digitalization significantly promotes industrial efficiency, innovation, and profitability. Proposed strategic solutions include strengthening digital literacy, developing adaptive regulations, and fostering cross-sector collaboration to create an inclusive, competitive, and sustainable digital industrial ecosystem

This study aims to analyze innovative strategies that can be implemented by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in East Java to improve competitiveness through digital marketing and e-commerce. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a library research method by reviewing various scientific literature, government reports, and previous studies related to MSME innovation and digital transformation. The results of the study indicate that digital marketing and e-commerce innovation can increase market reach, operational efficiency, product differentiation, and MSME sales. However, the implementation of innovation still faces several challenges such as low digital literacy, limited capital, limited technology, and lack of system integration. Therefore, innovative strategies are needed, including integrated digital marketing, marketplace optimization, social commerce, digital payment systems, logistics integration, digital branding strengthening, and digital literacy training. In addition, collaboration between MSMEs, government, universities, communities, and digital platforms is an important factor in accelerating MSME digital transformation. This study produces recommendations for an innovative strategy model based on digital marketing and e-commerce to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in East Java.

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) or Kindergarten (TK) is an important level of education in building the foundations for children's overall development, covering aspects of religious and moral values, physical-motor skills, cognitive skills, language, social-emotional skills, and the arts. The development of PAUD/TK currently shows a positive trend, as seen in the increasing public awareness, number of institutions, and participation of children aged 4–6 years. However, challenges still arise, such as limited facilities and infrastructure, variations in educator competence, differences in access to services between regions, and the need for stimulation at home. Competition among early childhood education institutions is quite fierce, driving innovation in learning quality, teacher competence, facilities, and flagship programs. In this context, marketing management plays a strategic role in building the institution's image, conveying information about educational services, identifying community needs, and increasing the institution's competitiveness in an ethical and sustainable manner. TK Muslimat NU Pakembaran, as a religious-based PAUD institution, plays an important role in developing children's development and instilling Islamic values. Although the marketing strategy is still simple and predominantly based on a familial approach and word-of-mouth promotion, these efforts are effective in building community trust and loyalty. In the future, strengthening a more systematic marketing management can increase competitiveness, expand the reach of information, and support the sustainability of the institution in providing quality, religious, and character-building early childhood education services.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in promoting economic growth and improving community welfare, particularly at the regional level. In Nagekeo Regency, the ikat weaving craft sector represents an important local economic potential that also carries significant cultural value. However, weaving entrepreneurs still face several challenges, including limited business capital, restricted market access, and low utilization of digital technology for product marketing. This study aims to analyze the role of the Department of Cooperatives, Industry, and Trade of Nagekeo Regency in empowering MSME actors, particularly ikat weaving groups. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The study involved 18 informants consisting of local government officials, MSME actors, and institutional partners selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the department performs facilitative, educative, and technical roles in empowering weaving groups through production training, digital marketing assistance, provision of business facilities, and technical guidance on product innovation. These programs contribute to improving weavers’ skills, product quality, and market opportunities, although their implementation still faces limitations related to budget constraints and uneven program coverage.

This study aims to analyze the role of digital transformation in strengthening competitive advantage and resilience of highland tourism villages in Central Java. Highland tourism villages face increasing competition, environmental vulnerability, and market uncertainty, requiring adaptive and innovation-driven strategies. Digital transformation is considered a strategic instrument to enhance destination competitiveness, expand market access, and improve institutional resilience. This research employs a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationships among digital transformation, competitive advantage, and tourism village resilience. The study was conducted in selected highland tourism villages in Central Java, including [insert village names if needed]. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to tourism village managers, local stakeholders, and community representatives. The findings indicate that digital transformation has a significant positive effect on competitive advantage and resilience. Furthermore, competitive advantage partially mediates the relationship between digital transformation and tourism village resilience. These results suggest that digital adoption, digital marketing integration, and digital governance practices are critical in strengthening sustainable tourism development in highland areas. The study contributes to the literature on digital tourism transformation and provides managerial implications for policymakers and tourism village managers in developing adaptive and resilient tourism ecosystems.

This study was conducted with the aim of identifying and analyzing the influence of price, innovation, and service quality variables on consumer decisions in using the Maxim online transportation service. The background of this research is the increasing competition in the online transportation industry in Indonesia, which encourages companies to continuously improve their marketing strategies to attract and retain customers. As one of the rapidly growing online transportation service providers, Maxim needs to understand the factors that influence consumer decisions in order to compete effectively. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 134 respondents who are active users of Maxim's transportation services. The data collected were analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the effect of each independent variable (price, innovation, and service quality) on the dependent variable (consumer decision). Validity and reliability tests were also conducted to ensure the research instrument was appropriate for use.The results of the study show that all three independent variables—price, innovation, and service quality—have a positive and significant effect on consumer decisions. This means that the more competitive the price offered, the higher the level of innovation provided, and the better the perceived service quality, the more likely consumers are to choose and continue using the Maxim online transportation service.These findings provide practical implications for Maxim’s management in designing more targeted marketing strategies and service improvements, as well as strengthening the company’s position in facing market competition.

SMEs play an important role in Indonesia's economy, one of which is the woodcraft industry that has great potential for export. Putra Mandiri Woodcraft (PMW) faces sales instability, ranging from 30% to 145.48% of the set target, which affects production efficiency. This study aims to formulate an effective marketing strategy to increase sales volume and business competitiveness. The methods used in this study include the IFE and EFE Matrix analysis to identify internal and external factors affecting the company, SWOT analysis to formulate various strategies, and QSPM to determine strategy priorities based on the Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) value. The analysis results show that Putra Mandiri Woodcraft has an IFE score of 2.70 and an EFE score of 2.80, indicating that the company's internal condition is quite strong, although the response to external factors is still moderate. The company's main strengths lie in product quality and consumer trust, while its weaknesses are the lack of innovation in product design. Based on the SWOT analysis results, eight potential strategies were found, and the QSPM shows that expansion through a marketplace based on product quality and more varied designs is the main priority with a TAS value of 6.16.

This research examines the innovation of community empowerment rooted in local wisdom for environmental management and green economy advancement in Ketegan Village, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. The study stems from the increasing environmental issues resulting from urban development and the limited public understanding of sustainable economic measures. The research examines how local values—like cooperative efforts and social responsibility—can be incorporated into innovative, economically effective environmental management frameworks. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data collection involved in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and the documentation of environmental policies and socio-economic information. The results indicate that residents of Ketegan have effectively created an empowerment model that integrates tradition and innovation via waste bank management, the use of organic waste for compost and biogas, and community-driven green economy projects engaging women and youth. Cooperation between the government, community, and universities has been essential in maintaining these initiatives. However, institutional capability, online marketing, and program viability continue to pose considerable obstacles. The research suggests enhancing community potential by providing training in green entrepreneurship, facilitating digital transformation, and incorporating local wisdom principles into sustainable development strategies. The results confirm that innovation rooted in local wisdom can effectively create resilient, competitive, and environmentally aware communities.
