Drug-resistant tuberculosis (TB) is an escalating global health issue, particularly with the rise of multidrug-resistant (MDR-TB) and extensively drug-resistant TB (XDR-TB), which complicate treatment and control efforts. Resistance to both first-line and second-line drugs weakens the effectiveness of standard WHO-recommended therapies, while alternative drugs can cause severe side effects and reduce patient adherence. This study aims to explore the integration of bioinformatics and pharmacogenomics in supporting personalized TB treatment to improve therapeutic success and reduce the risk of further resistance. The research employed a laboratory-based experimental design with a bioinformatics approach, involving TB patients with clinical evidence of drug resistance. Clinical samples were analyzed through whole genome sequencing to identify gene mutations associated with resistance, followed by pharmacogenomic mapping to predict pharmacological responses based on patients’ genetic variations. The results revealed several specific gene mutations consistently linked to resistance and produced individualized therapeutic recommendations that were more targeted than standard protocols. Effectiveness evaluation demonstrated that genome-based personalized therapy yielded higher treatment success rates, faster recovery times, and lower rates of subsequent resistance. These findings highlight the significant potential of precision medicine in TB management, particularly for resistant cases that are difficult to treat with conventional approaches. In conclusion, the integration of bioinformatics and pharmacogenomics plays an essential role in strengthening TB treatment strategies through a personalized, adaptive, effective, and sustainable approach. Nevertheless, its implementation still faces challenges such as high costs, limited infrastructure, and the need for clear regulations regarding the use of patients’ genomic data.

According to available data, colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common malignant neoplasms. Depending on location, type of cancer, or gender, this disease ranks 2nd to 4th in terms of worldwide incidence. CRC from year to year shows an increasing trend both in terms of morbidity and mortality. Many factors may be responsible for the development of this disease, including genetic and environmental factors. Although CRC-related mortality is very high in high-income countries, CRC-related incidence and mortality is also increasing in developing countries. CRC that is detected early is completely curable with surgery and subsequent treatment. However, the recurrence rate is high, and cancer drug resistance increases the treatment failure rate. Access to early diagnosis and treatment of CRC for survival is somewhat possible in developed countries. However, these facilities are rarely available in developing countries.

Outpatient services are an important part of health services provided by hospitals. However, some BPJS hospitals experience obstacles in providing efficient and quality outpatient services, such as long queues, long waiting times, and lack of a good management system. the application of Lean Management to the outpatient services of BPJS patients in hospitals can help hospitals improve operational performance, so as to increase public trust in BPJS Health. This study aims to analyze the application of Lean Management to the outpatient services of BPJS patients in hospitals. This research uses a literature study method or Systematic Literature Review using the Google Scholar search engine and journal databases, such as Researchgate. The results showed that most outpatient service activities for BPJS patients still have patient waiting times below the established service standards. In analyzing the flow that patients go through, each activity is identified into two groups, namely Value Added (VA) as an activity that is considered necessary and profitable and Non Value Added (NVA) as an activity that is considered unnecessary. Based on the percentage of waste in the form of the largest waiting time can be described, namely, 35.1% in the registration process, 30.2% in the poly examination process, and 20.7% in the process of receiving drugs in the pharmaceutical installation

The main problem in this research is the management of drugs in the Pharmacy Installation of RSUD Prof. Dr. H. M. Anwar Makkatutu which has not been handled properly. There are various types of pharmaceutical logistics, namely drugs and consumables, many types of incoming drugs and medical equipment, with different delivery times and drug expiration dates, the pharmacy must manage it well, starting from the process of distributing and storing drugs and consumables. from warehouse to depot. The pharmaceutical system that is still manual causes repeated double checks, the data collection of expired drugs is not correct, there is no application that makes it easy for pharmacy officers to check what drugs are about to expire and are about to expire so that it requires a long time and excessive energy. With the above problems, the development of drug management applications through the fifo and fefo methods in SIMRS when receiving, storing and releasing drugs and medical equipment is needed for smooth service in pharmaceutical installations so that officers can work effectively, efficiently, and improve service quality. as well as the economic disadvantages of hospital management can be minimized and produce reports that are faster and more accurate in the management and planning of drug supplies. Pharmacy officers can take advantage of drug management through the fifo and fefo applications based on batch numbers and expiration dates to complete all the shortcomings and weaknesses of the existing SIMRS application in order to maximize services at the Pharmacy Installation. This research is a quasi experimental research to determine the difference in the duration of the use of time and energy before and after using the application. The research was carried out at the pharmacy installation of Prof. Dr. H. M. Hospital. Anwar Makkatutu Bantaeng from August to October 2020.

Pharmaceutical preparations is a term that covers all forms of pharmaceutical preparations ranging from drugs, medicinal ingredients, traditional medicines to cosmetics. This term has been regulated in Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 51 of 2009 concerning Pharmaceutical Work. Management of pharmaceutical preparations is a cycle of activities starting from the selection, scheduling needs, receiving, storage, distribution, destruction and withdrawal, control, which is necessary for pharmaceutical service activities. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of ten national journals which were obtained using online database facilities via the Google Scholar, Refseek, and Sciencegate pages. Journals were selected based on publications published between 2018 and 2023. There were obstacles in the implementation of pharmaceutical preparations, including planning that was still conservative, from delays in drug procurement in demand and distribution, resulting in empty drug supplies. However, not all aspects are problematic. There are many other aspects of the mechanism of pharmaceutical preparation that are carefully programmed and procedurally appropriate. This matter needs to be done routinely and continuously, and with written commitments for pharmaceutical preparations in Indonesia in supporting SKN it can be categorized as quite good.
