Economic empowerment of rural communities through the strengthening of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a crucial pillar in achieving national economic independence. One of the fundamental obstacles faced by MSMEs in rural areas is financial exclusion due to low digital literacy and dependence on conventional cash transaction systems. The Community Service Program (KKN) of students from the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UIN SU) in Pematang Tengah Village was designed to bridge this gap by optimizing the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS). Through an intensive participatory mentoring approach, students acted as agents of digital transformation who educated, trained, and facilitated 10 local MSME actors in adopting non-cash payment technology. The results of the program show a significant shift from digital skepticism to digital trust. The implementation of QRIS has been proven to increase operational efficiency, financial management accuracy, and strengthen the image of business modernity in the eyes of consumers. This article emphasizes that the role of students is not merely as information deliverers, but as catalysts of social capital that is crucial for the sustainability of digitalization at the village level.

Digitalization is an effort to utilize digital-based technology to transform previously conventional work systems into more efficient and effective ones, including in the management of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to apply digitalization to corn-based coffe MSMEs in Talang Balai Baru 1 Village, Tanjung Raja District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the production and marketing activities of corn coffe MSMEs still use conventional methods. The implementation of digitaization has not been optimally implemented due to the low digital literacy of business owners and limited time in business managemen. Nevertheless, the initial implementation of digitalization through the use of social media and online sales platforms has had a positive impact in the form of expanding market reach and increasing ease of communication between producers and consumers. Thus, the digitalization of corn coffe MSME products has great potential to increase competitiveness and business sustainability if implemented gradually and continuously. .

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in accelerating regional economic growth and improving community welfare. However, MSMEs in North Sumatra Province continue to face various challenges, particularly limited access to capital, low adoption of digital technology, and insufficient business assistance. This community service program aims to strengthen the MSME ecosystem through integrated empowerment initiatives, including facilitating access to financing, enhancing the use of internet-based technologies, and improving the capacity of MSME actors. The methods applied include business mentoring, training activities, and analysis of MSME performance in both short-term and long-term perspectives. The results indicate that expanded access to capital and increased adoption of digital technology contribute positively and significantly to MSME income growth in both the short and long term. Interestingly, the absence of guidance, training, and extension services shows a positive correlation with income in the short term but has a significant negative impact on business sustainability and stability in the long term. Furthermore, reliance on bank loans consistently demonstrates a significant negative effect on MSME performance across both analytical periods. These findings highlight the importance of building a sustainable MSME ecosystem through continuous mentoring, improved financial literacy, and adaptive digital transformation to ensure long-term business resilience.

This community service activity was carried out with the primary objective of improving the financial literacy of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pesawaran Regency. Financial literacy is considered a fundamental aspect in maintaining business continuity, as it is directly related to the ability of business actors to manage income, record transactions regularly, develop short-term and long-term financial plans, and utilize digital technology as a supporting tool. Low financial literacy is often an obstacle to the development of MSMEs, so interventions in the form of structured training and mentoring are essential. The activity method includes several stages, namely a pre-test to measure initial conditions, interactive delivery of training materials, direct practice using digital financial applications, and a post-test to disseminate learning outcomes. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in all measured indicators. Basic financial literacy increased by 10.16 points, financial recording skills increased by 14.47 points, the ability to prepare financial plans increased by 12.43 points, while financial digitalization experienced the highest performance with an increase of 18.12 points. These findings confirm that financial literacy training programs not only improve conceptual knowledge but also develop the practical skills essential for MSMEs to face the challenges of the modern economic era. This increased understanding and skills are expected to make Pesawaran MSMEs more independent, adaptable to digital technology developments, and more competitive.

The main issue examined is how the strategies, program models, and implementation carried out by LAZISNU DIY can generate tangible impacts on community empowerment across various aspects of sustainable development. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and institutional documentation. The findings reveal that LAZISNU DIY’s five core program pillars education, health, economy, environment, and humanitarian-da‘wah are systematically integrated with SDG targets. Concrete contributions are evident in poverty alleviation, improving access to and quality of education, providing inclusive health services, strengthening micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME)-based economic empowerment, and promoting participatory environmental conservation. Several innovations, such as strengthening the Zakat, Infak, and Sedekah Management Network (JPZIS), fostering strategic collaboration with pesantren and local communities, and implementing digitalization in the donation system, have significantly enhanced the effectiveness and outreach of the programs. The study affirms that LAZISNU DIY is not merely a zakat distribution institution but also a social change agent that emphasizes Islamic values and local wisdom in advancing sustainable development. Thus, LAZISNU DIY’s role is increasingly relevant in supporting the global SDG agenda while simultaneously reinforcing community social resilience at the local level. Recommendations are provided to strengthen cross-sector collaboration and establish an SDGs indicator-based evaluation system to ensure program objectives.

This community service activity was carried out to increase the digital capacity and expand the market reach of the Peyek Bayam Yusr MSME located in Rajabasa Lama I Village, East Lampung, through the application of appropriate technology in the form of website creation and management training. In the rapidly developing digital era, the presence of online media is a key factor in supporting product marketing, but most MSMEs in this region do not yet have the skills or knowledge to utilize it optimally. This activity was designed in several stages: identifying needs, socialization, technical training, mentoring, and evaluation. The training included creating an account on a free platform, selecting a template, filling in product content, and managing supporting features such as photo galleries, contact information, and integration with social media. This approach was carried out directly by students so that MSME owners could follow each process. The results showed that after the training, all participants were able to create a simple website and began using it for promotions. Identified direct impacts included increased product visibility in online media, increased orders, and demand from outside areas that were previously difficult to reach. In addition, this activity also encouraged a shift in marketing patterns from conventional methods to technology-based strategies. The analysis of the results indicates consistency with various previous studies, such as Santoso (2020) and Ginting et al. (2021), which emphasize the importance of MSME digitalization to increase competitiveness. This process has had a significant positive impact on MSMEs. This program is recommended for other MSMEs, as it is hoped that this program will have a positive impact in line with market needs. This process is accompanied by direct mentoring so that the achieved results can be maintained and developed

The abundant rice husk waste in Legundi Village, Ngawi Regency, has not been used optimally and has the potential to cause environmental pollution. On the other hand, rural communities, especially the PKK Women's group, need business diversification to increase family income. Responding to these challenges, this community service program is carried out with the main objectives: (1) utilizing rice husk waste into husk charcoal products with economic value as a planting medium; (2) increasing income and empowering community groups; and (3) strengthening the capacity of digitizing MSMEs through online marketing assistance. The activity was carried out with a participatory method that prioritized the active involvement of the community. There are two main approaches to program implementation. First, training on the practice of making husk charcoal uses imperfect combustion techniques that are simple and environmentally friendly. Second, assistance in the digitalization of MSMEs which includes training in creating and managing e-commerce accounts (Shopee and Tokopedia), the production of visual and narrative-based promotional content, and digital marketing strategies that are adaptive to consumer trends. The results of the activity show that the community is able to process husk waste into packaged husk charcoal products with the brand "Saji Tani" which has selling value and market potential. In addition, the PKK Women's group showed capacity building in business management and the use of digital platforms to expand marketing access. This program not only succeeds in reducing the environmental impact of agricultural waste, but also encourages the economic independence of village communities through innovations based on local potential. Thus, this activity is a model of integrated community empowerment that combines environmental, economic, and digital technology aspects in a sustainable manner.

The social transformation that has occurred in the digital era has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt to developments in information technology to increase competitiveness and expand market reach. One form of this adaptation is the use of e-commerce platforms as a means of marketing and managing their businesses online. This community service activity aims to empower the Kartika Taro Chips MSME through the introduction and implementation of an e-commerce platform based on Odoo.com, an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This activity was carried out by students of the Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science, Victory University Sorong, with the assistance of lecturers from the Information Systems and Sociology fields. The training method includes several stages, namely: the stage of material preparation and analysis of participant needs, the implementation of a workshop that includes the installation and configuration of Odoo.com, and the post-training mentoring stage to ensure the sustainability and independence of participants in managing their online stores. The results of the training showed that participants were not only able to build and manage online stores independently, but also understood the basic concepts of ERP systems and experienced a significant increase in digital literacy. From a sociological perspective, this activity reflects a technology-driven social transformation process, where MSMEs are actively expanding their social networks through digital spaces and increasing their involvement in the digital economy. This demonstrates that integrating technological and social approaches can be a relevant MSME empowerment model in local contexts. Overall, this training has had a positive impact on strengthening MSMEs' digital capacity and opening up new opportunities for sustainable business development in the era of digital transformation.

In the digital 4.0 era, language literacy and digitalization are key elements in the process of community empowerment, especially in rural areas that still face the challenge of limited access to information and technology. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of language literacy strengthening and digitalization programs in supporting community empowerment in Takalar Regency, with an integrative approach that considers local context and cultural wisdom. The method used is a qualitative approach through participatory action research, which allows for the active involvement of the community in the process of identifying problems and finding solutions. The community service activity (PKM) was held in Ujung Baji Village, Sanrobone District, Takalar Regency on July 10, 2025, involving 25 participants with diverse social and educational backgrounds. The literacy expert team from ADPERTISI plays a role in designing and implementing multilingual-based training programs and approaches that are sensitive to local culture. This program has succeeded in significantly increasing people's digital literacy, with 60% of participants able to utilize technology for MSME development and 40% of participants successfully accessing public services independently through digital platforms. The "Techno-Linguistic Integration" model applied has proven to be effective in overcoming language barriers in the digital technology adoption process. The integration of local languages with digital devices creates an inclusive and relevant learning environment for rural communities. The results show that a holistic and contextual approach to strengthening language literacy and digitalization can empower communities in a sustainable manner, strengthen local capacity, and encourage digital transformation at the grassroots level. These findings make an important contribution to the development of technology-based community empowerment strategies and local culture in the digital era.

Micro,Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a vital pillar of the national economy, significantly contributing to employment, innovation, and regional economic development. However, in the ever-evolving digital era, many MSMEs have yet to optimally utilize digital promotional technologies and trends, leading to limited market reach and business growth. This community service activity aims to improve MSMEs' understanding and skills in building and developing their businesses through digital-based promotional strategies. The methods used in this activity include interactive outreach, hands-on training, and mentoring focused on the use of social media, online marketplaces, and other relevant digital platforms. The activity was conducted in collaboration with the MSME community using a participatory approach, enabling participants to actively engage in learning and directly apply the materials provided. The results of the activity indicate that participants showed a significant increase in knowledge and awareness regarding the importance of digital branding, designing attractive and effective promotional content, and utilizing various digital tools to expand market access. Additionally, many participants expressed greater confidence in managing digital platforms to promote their products and services independently. This increase in digital literacy is crucial in helping MSMEs remain competitive and adaptive to market changes brought about by technological advances. By equipping MSMEs with relevant digital promotion skills, this initiative contributes to the broader goal of supporting the growth of resilient, sustainable, and innovative small businesses. In the long term, such community-based empowerment efforts are expected to foster economic resilience and inclusiveness in the face of ongoing digital economic transformation.
